Yeah, Holy priest main here. Crazy high party-wide AoE damage in M+, and we're expected to flash heal our way through it because literally NOTHING in our AoE toolkit can deal with it. Checked out until next tier, hopefully there's a fix in for the class, or a drastic shift in damage patterns, or its going to be another hard pass next season, too.
@@In_Dog_We_Trust hah, pvp aint in that much better shape bud, literally all you fight at 2100 cr 3v3 in nothing but multi rank 1 players, with the average highest cr is about 2500, in past seasons that used to be 3k+, its imposible to earn rewards
As a Holy Pal healer I quit a few weeks after raid release because I realized there's no real way to progress well and have fun. Mythic+ is just plain ridiculous now after the squish, the raid is tough for PuGs on norm and hell beyond it. They intentionally nerf good classes to make the game harder. Why? They force competition for their esports. The game is more of a job than a fun experience. You don't login to WoW to chill, now you have to login and play like your life depends on it for 54 gold at the end of a dungeon. I've never touched PvP so I have no opinion on it.
@@skallymanga7812 you realize a pug can be everything from champion gear equiped people to 636 full myth track equiped people and it does a BIG difference? My raid also blasts trough HC in bit over 60 min but we get our asses handled by the queen. the dmg she dishes out is rudiculous and dont talk about the numerous one shot and raid wipe mechanics. The first 4 mythic bosses are literally easier than queen hc
@@MrTater14 exactly!! "Oh, that class is having too much fun or success, let's nerf that" 🤦♂️ Instead of looking at the rest of the classes and specs that are not having fun or performing well and asking what can be improved?? Its like there are a bunch of idiots managing the game
This isn't going to change anything, a handful of crests more on content magnitudes harder is not going to make people run it, same goes for the extra crests on depletion.
I think a big problem is content is being made for the 1% of players. That may be because those with the biggest platform to speak their voices happen to be those within the 1%. Think of the top two biggest WoW podcasts. They’re not your everyday WoW player; them having the largest voice influences the devs significantly.
Kinda crazy they still haven't found a good way to gear and keep player retention in m+ . This season on m+ difficultly curve is way to harsh that 9-13 range needs to be smoothed out better
M+ was never rewarding. It’s just now that ppl are noticing how bad it is. Because going through 30min stress fest for 12 crests is horrible. And me doing +8 still rewards 12 crests so no changes for me or anyone else who does +8 in the next patch😂
WoW just isnt fun anymore and hasnt been for a long time. Most folks are just playing because of time invested. The game is completely unapproachable. The gear/reward track feels completely pointless. Class identify and group roles are completely lost in the hyper fast color fuck that is M+. And raids are intentionally designed around world first raiders, and feel pointless for time invested. Open world is brain dead and serves no other purpose than to trick you into thinking this is an mmorpg. And all of this is riding on top of one of the most toxic and unfriendly communities to ever exist. Everything in this game feels so superficial and soulless. Blizzard made a hard turn in dragonflight and I hoped it'd be for the better. But all its done is show the cracks in this development team. It almost feels like they are just frantically throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks to make number go up. It isnt a game anymore. Its a marketing strategy.
@@pilotmorgan8669 i think we mostly agree in terms of gameplay. It's way too hard. Since when was WoW about sweating? I'm OK with difficulty. Going back to classic raids would be a downgrade. I want a challenge. Just not this level of punishing crap where I have to do 50 pulls on a boss in mythic. Mythic raiding is soul sucking, and I'm a competitively good player. I'm tired of WoW being a chore. It needs to be 80% cakewalk instead of 1% cakewalk.
@whereisthesurvivalhunter9525 I think tons of effort is going into the game. That's actually very clear to me. It's the higher level decision making that's probably ruining everything.
I almost resubscribed to WoW. Then I realized I would have to install a bunch of addons and be yelled at in dungeons for not knowing mechanics. I prefer to play healers in MMOs. But WoW is unapproachable. Players expect you to play like a professional who has been mastering WoW for 20 years. Zero patience for anyone new/returning. I play ESO and FFXIV. Both have nice communities and dungeons that aren't designed to stress players out. My biggest gripe about WoW is time-gated profession progress. It's the most unfriendly to returning/new players. I really wish the game would simply let us craft without requiring a months-long grind. That makes me lose all interest in giving WoW a chance.
Loved playing the WW on launch and leveling my alts and the initial gearing climb but the grind for ilvl just isn’t rewarding to me and the social systems in wow just don’t really work or exist anymore so it feels impossible to make connections and friends if you don’t already know ppl outside of the game who play. I haven’t touched it since before the anniversary event and probably wont until the next expac. Not when there’s so many other games to play that feel more fun than doing the same thing over and over by myself for a marginal increase in ilevel.
The biggest appeal of a game like wow for me and maybe a lot of other people is the potential to do cool fun stuff with your character, and do it with other people. At surface wow presents itself as that expereince, but it's not that at all. This expansion was a great example - you start by engaging with the world, and then you move to gearing your character. You move from world -> delves -> normal/hc raid -> m+8/+10 and then end up in some loop of (hc raid, mythic raid, m+8/10, m+12
I play retail because I don't like the slow pace of Classic. I don't like the slow gearing, I don't like the slow rotations, I don't like to slow leveling. If I wanted the slower pace, I would just do like many others and go play CLASSIC. Rather than Blizzard having two distinct versions of the game that two different types of players can enjoy they're trying to force retail to be closer to classic. In previous seasons I would be able to have my vault done so quickly on my main I'd have time for a couple alts, now I'm lucky if i get 2/3 slots on my main. Blizzard is just showing me they don't respect my time and even though I'm still playing now, I'm rapidly getting to a point of complete burnout.
I just don't think instanced content should be the only thing that is worth paying a subscription for. The world quests should be expanded and be made more challenging/rewarding.
@retrorewind6042 I'm actually neither.. but good try. I'm certain that you're a casual though. I know enough about the games that's been out 20+ years that doesn't mean I'm a no living degen. I can guarantee you I have more of a life than what you can dream of buddy.
Kind of two takes (one of each side) on the not flying right away in new zones. 1. I kind of understand why they prevent players from flying in new zones and one of the main reasons is to slow down content consumption. Giving a player a quest that adds 3-5 minutes of travel time slows down the time for them to complete that quest there for extending the "newness" of that content. This straight up generates thousands of hours of new content for players overall and in turn giving the devs more time to work on the newer stuff. Other reasons could be that you must work up to have the ability to fly as a part of just being new to the zone as an RPG element. Normally in an RPG, the devs are not just gonna let you spoil the whole zone right off the bat. They're going to slow drip it and give you one of the greatest elements of an RPG...exploration. So I understand that from a gameplay perspective and just go with it. 2. My take from the other side is that I (imo) feel like they kind of have to slow down content consumption because they aren't making a lot of new content and the things that they are get consumed up by no-lifers who just grind the heck outta anything new they make. I have a problem with how they do that sometimes which disrespects a player's time like how they handled the new currency in the anniversary event. Like it was egregious for no reason other than to slow down how fast you consumed the content from the event. So, slowing down the time for players to consume in respectful ways (ala exploration) I'm ok with. Things like the anniversary event...that's gonna be a _no_ from me dawg.
The crest changes for M+ are really good. However, as a brewmaster main of all things, I'm gonna continue playing other games until they get the tank balance in order.
Thanks to this video I went on a deep dive about Xal'atath's feet and oh boy.... I wish I hadnt lmao. I had no idea there was such a controversy about her feet.
Let us choose keys and allow us to manipulate the levels. Let us play the game, how we want to play it, not how they think we should play it. There is nothing fun about spending 30% of my gameplay on doing content that I don't need at all. I play a healer, and I don't mind the difficulty and all the challenges in higher keys. Right now I'm progressing through 14 keys and i'd like to see more than 2 keys listed. It's way too time consuming.
If tanks and healers can push their own keys with any dungeon they want, non-meta and new/low score dps will never get into a key. Random keys are a godsend for dps players and new m+’ers, whether they see it that way or not.
@Buntijr another option would be, remove keys completely. Choose dungeon and levels based on what you want to play. It would also promote oldschool wow grouping style. And by the way, the dungeons don't depend on tanks and healers now. They depend solely on dps and interrupts. Especially in higher keys. Don't believe me? Go watch NW 15 without a healer.
@ I never said I didn’t believe this no-healer comp existed. I don’t know what game you’re playing or what rock you live under, but every comment section and video I watch on the state of m+ is that the average dps player is struggling to get into groups because of tank and healer shortages in pugs. Just because there is one m+ dungeon that a premade group of people can do without a healer at a 15 (while 18s and 19s are being pushed with healers) is completely irrelevant to the conversation. Congrats, a dungeon can be cheesed that gives aoe interrupts, shields, and damage buff spears. I’m sure there are Burger King crowns out there somewhere so you can feel special for this find. And, contrary to your own point, they could do a dungeon without a healer… doesn’t sound like they did it without a tank, meaning that everyone will be at the mercy of tanks- part what my comment stated in the first place. If you can run and time your keys with 5 dps, the community will love to see that and how that can be applied to the general player base that wants to play their own class instead of a cheese comp. Bonus points if this applies to people who need gear from 10s and below yet.
@Buntijr i guess you're here to argue, so i'll keep it short. If your dps is low, you won't time the key. Having a good tank or a healer is obviously a condition you must meet to keep the dps alive, but regarless of that condition the time is ticking. The best a tank can do to speed up the process is pull big which is not always an option, so it ends up being on the shoulders of the dps. So yeah, you are literally at the mercy of your dps. That's why you don't get invited. People simply want max dps.
I have no clue what your talking about with keys and that's why I refuse to do raiding anymore. I'm so lost. I took a break and I came back to the upside-down WOW. This is not a game anymore it's a currecy freak off with a lot of very convenient bugs. Also i cant learn about raiding because i lag so bag its impossible i get motion sickness even with the filter because the fight area is exploding with so many visuals I can't even see anything to the point of a migraine and dizziness.
In line with this video, Blizzard recently announced more M+ tuning changes for 11.0.7 Kinda silly that they are hammering the difficulty this late in the season but is it what it is. Alot of it is in regards to trash tank busters.
My 2 cent Make first weekly mythic vault starts at 8+ (as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish) Gilded starts drops from 6+ (as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish) Portals at 10+ (as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish) Remove the Tanks nerfs ((as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish)) Make any CC counts as interrupts (as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish) In short blizzard needs to stop creating problems no one ask
@TheRabbit68 ROFL... It's only the first season bud. Calm down. Everyone bitching right now will come back for second season. So, it's objectively not too late. You just have no idea what you're talking about. It's expected from a casual shit wow playerbase though
For me the big issue is the ilvl 619 cap. My guild doesn't Mythic Raid, I don't want to sweat out +8 or higher dungeons (they're too hard to learn and not fun enough to try) and once you down H Queen once, the fight is so difficult for such a little reward it isn't even worth doing more than once since it'll never be on farm - it's just too easy for anyone to wipe the group, and everyone has to play perfect at all times. You also don't get to ever outgear the fight. So my guild pretty much moved onto other games until next patch. Until 11.1, I have nothing left to do and nothing left to work toward since Blizzard made it very easy to get to ilvl 619 and impossible to get beyond unless you do super sweaty content that isn't fun.
Enjoyed the raid, got AOTC then did a few mythic bosses. Could not be bothered to push more for M+. Pushed to like 2300 io then just got tired of the amount of things you need to pay attention to while running and the lack of reward motivation I stopped. Taken a month off from wow all together now, will be back tomorrow for the Isle, but really wont do too much til next season or next raid.
@@WoWatNight yea, and thats sad. Been playing since Vanilla launch, love the game just wish it didn't drop in things to do now day so quick. M+ was good, but always said it needs more rewards, even PVP has more to keep pushing to (Weapon illsions etc). I just dont enjoy pvp so i am where im at. o well.
I got my ahead of the curve and stopped. Pugging M+ stops being fun after +8 and I didn’t really see a point in going higher. Once the game feels like a chore I drop it for the next season
Because Mythic+ *IS* the problem. Adding Mythic+ was the worst thing they ever did to WoW and one of the reasons why we don't get as much new content as we should because they are forced to spend so much developer time on implementation and balancing which ultimately breaks Class balancing and PvP. Delete them.
It is not about mythic + itself, but making it THE game, now that made it the worse thing ever, they traded WoW for WoMythic+, now people looking for Warcraft elsewhere.
@@WoWatNight not wrong, they develop the most played game mode, thus becoming the only game mode that has any good or not so good development, they want to sell a product and not make a good game.
45m to get into a +8 then that key bricks. Is what drove me to put WoW down for the time being, sadly. lol for me I can not find decent boots still at champion.
@@Eulrich DF S1 was Prot Warriors until it was Prot Paladin and everyone else was shut out. DPS had a more varied balance but it was mostly Havoc/Rogue/X. Healers, unless you were a Priest (which my healer was at the time), were not awful.
I quit retail and moved to classic. A big reason for that is due to the way your UI looks. I can comfortably play classic with a dps/threat meter, swing timer and some quality-of-life addons.
>i feel like this is a game that doesn't respect your time as a player. I can totally see that for some players. However, I am new to TWW (havent played since BfA) and I have about 8 Alts. In about 2 months i've gotten nearly all of them (except one) leveled completely and with 590/600 gear on completely solo. I am a casual player and play on nights and weekends. I don't do much else outside of Heroics, Delves, and the WoW 20th Anniversary daily quests for gear. Not to mention the Vault. For me? Its been such a fun and amazing experience not only leveling but gearing efficiently and easily. I don't care to play Mythic + nor raiding but im sure for many people thats the true endgame that entices them back to WoW in the first place, so again, I totally get it.
Whats with that random Jab against brewmaster monks at 4:10 ?^^ IMO Brewmaster is really fun to play... maybe lacking in defense a bit but the gameplay is still really fun.
Idk why everyone says that. I live all the tankbusters without a cd. I am able to do big Pulls, maybe not like a prot Pally but yea they are OP. Even on a 13. would love celestial brew be good again, but apart from that i think we are mostly fine. Look at equinox, he does 16s with full offensive talents
@@fmayer555 If you are able to do big pulls or not, heavily depends on the healer. I only pug my keys and sometimes it's really night and day. As for equinox... sure he does high keys, but again... his mistweaver friend "ally" is extremely good. And i have never had a good experience with any mistweaver ive played with, but plenty with every other healer. So yeah.... big pulls is 75% healer
anything above 10 is suppose to be for the try hards. Why arent they allowed to get a little icing on the cake for doing harder content than most of us?
These patch changes would’ve been great a month ago. Now, it feels desperate and too little, too late. They need to announce what their intentions are for season 2 to fix the other complaints; this season is toast, regardless of changes. People are gone, and I don’t think many people will come back to restart season 1.
I still miss you're tank guides on wowhead! But back to the topic at hand I do agree that they need to find the sweet spot with m+ and honestly with leveling , raid are almost always awesome or ok and honestly since I started playing wow (end of legion) one of the thing I miss the most is the meaningful levelling gear feeling relevant and enjoying my time instead of rushing to level an alt so I can, rush and get some gear, to then stop playing. This is mostly a ramble sorry, but I find myself enjoying classic even though it has a lot o unnecessary inconveniences and i didn't play the original when it came out.
Not even high end players are enjoying playing especially tank and healers feels like they are not taking steps into the right direction more like moving one toe at a time just check how many people do +12 in this season 90% players didn't even try to do it with how toxic the state of pugging is even with crest upgrade at best you only get 1 upgrade per key completed 4 more crests are not even noticeable
The number of streamers claiming tanking 'is fine' yet the sheer amount of tanks, people have tanked years or dabbled on alt tanks saying entirely the opposite boggles the mind; at this point its more a question to myself and many others if streamers genuinely enjoy the more punishing tank style or are outright being paid by Blizzard to repeat the lie in attempt to normalize it
Id wager that 99% of streamers run in set groups and never pug anything. Blizzard could make everything the equivalent of dragging your body through broken glass and they would never notice because its only an issue for people who dont make playing the game a job.
Quazzi seems to be one of the only people coming out with an accurate and stat backed perspective of the tanking situation. There's a reason you are waiting 30m to pug a +8 and not getting a tank sign up.
Those players are why dictators have power. They kiss the ring..you know the same ring we keep getting in multiple expansions. They can't handle anyone who has a opinion they didn't mold in blizzards likeness
I disagree about current affixes being bad, same goes for the fort/tyr weeks. Myself and my teammates played ever week this season, never had to nitpick to avoid the "feelsbad" affixes like in DF. Except for 1! The dispell affix is the only 1 that falls out of the boat. It's not inline with the others as not every class can deal with it properly.
But you have a team, which is not how most players are approaching the content. We don't think the affixes are extremely hard, but most are a gamble in a pug run.
Seems like Blizzard intended for players to initially gear up in Delves to tier 8 then go away and continue to gear up in Mythic+ then return to Delves to continue up to tier 11. I don't see how a Delve only player could successfully finish a tier 11 Delve JUST on the gear they got from doing tier 8 Delves.
I'd love to see some nerfs to Prot paladin, and some sort of rework for DK/Monk spikeness. It's really annoying a major change on tanks in the beggining of exp. and absolutely no follow ups
In a game where I can shoot a fireball under wanted I expect to be able to fly on my flying mount. I didn't mind paying in LK for the hilarious and expensive cold weather flying or the licenses that came prior.
I want to know how many blizzard employees director or above even play wow. My guess is zero, or almost zero. No excuse to be this out of touch when the community isn't.
Ion Hazzikostas was a high end raider and ever since he took over the game started catering to his type of player. Not saying it's his fault, it probably has a huge amount to do with esports becoming popular and competitive gaming having some of the largest cash cows in the industry. I just think they get lost in it. The game never used to be such an insane chore to be good at.
I think people need to get out of the mindset that they should be able to complete all content. The very best gear is there for people who want the challenge. If you don't want the challenge you literally don't need the gear that comes from it in the first place.
@WoWatNight personally i like there being something to still try to achieve. It would be utterly boring if gearing ended at M+4 for instance. There will be no pleasing people who complain WoW is too challenging with changes to M+ without ruining the game for everyone else. What would need to happen is to introduce some other intrigueing gameplay and rewards for those people. I've only got 1 more +10 to finish to complete them all and I've done them all via pugs. I'm not that great of a player either. If it was much easier and there was nothing left to earn or challenge myself with why would i or anyone play.
The fact they're listening to feedback is fine but it's the same thing every season, annoying weekly caps on gear upgrades that they only remove when numbers dip substantially, m+ dungeons that once again hold BIS items for all classes in ONE dungeon and it's the most difficult because they don't want to redistribute trinkets, looking at you grim batol. And adding new mechs for healers to deal with that favor ONE healer so vastly that for other specs it feels like adding 3 to 4 key levels if you normally run 9s and higher. Stop putting run ending dispells on dispel types that not every healer can do. A 9 to 10 million heal absorb cast on 2 people every ten seconds that is for some reason a curse? Huh? This is the real stagnation that drives m+ and it's pretty obvious to me. Normally I either tank or heal because they tend to hold similar difficulties that I DON'T trust pugs to do, but for the first time since wotlk, I've almost exclusively healed because it's so punishing. The goal they had was to give groups more time to be healed before they died making maintenance of health more necessary than ever, and it was this way until about key level 8 or so, where once again we're back to a single unpreventable mechanic dragging group down to sub 15% with the strongest single heals doing about 40% of a player's max health if it crits. The extreme difficulty spike for healing this shit is leading to groups above 8 waiting 15 minutes or more for a single healer. No one wants to wait so long to do a key that's so punishing for such a low chance at getting the SINGLE item you're looking for. Can we please stop putting bis trinkets in single dungeons? Can we PLEASE put a trinket vendor like dragonflight season 4 and shadowlands season 4 but in every patch in some way or another? Can we please have weekly or biweekly dungeon tuning to fix things like a heal absorb so large that I have to spend 7 gcds worth of full power healing to clear ONE of the two absorbs? On the topic of healing absorbs, if you want them to be the main thing healers contend with for a whole tier, either reduce their total absorb or stop fucking making them absorb 100%, nothing is less rewarding to healers than pressing some massive heals only to see green text that says (absorb 2.5 million) and no health bars move at all
I think wow has become less a game where you have fun, and more of whatever M+ is. Whatever happened to rescuing low leveled guildies from the opposite faction, and raiding towns and cities, and having huge battles in the barrens. Or even battling over world monuments for buffs?
Ill bring in a bot of pvp pov for those wondering (im 2.4 on main atm in shuffle on 3 specs, 2.2 in 3s, 2.1 on healer alt in shuffle and have a few more from 1.8 to 2.1 in different brackets) Pvp atm is a DF pvp (which was good) copy+paste, but slightly worse. Balancing is slower and much much worse then it was throughout the first 3 seasons of DF, except for retpocalipse and aug patch. Les variety, especially in 3s, same specs stay s tier for months as if its the last season, everything else is the same. Also, blitz is bad, mmr system there is terrible and them trying to balance classes simultaneously around 3 man small map content and 8 man big map content just doesn’t seem to work as of now. Also, generaly majority of pvpers do not like the general direction of the class designs, specifically the amount of buffs that realistically change nothing and especially the amount of passive dmg and every second ability being aoe/having random aoe procs. This makes arena unapproachable for new players completely and everything being aoe makes it so cc randomly breakes, cc and set ups matter less and pure zug zug dps matter more, majority of us dont like this. That being said, we understand pvp is a small niche and for m+ people want as much aoe as possible, so this will never turn back
Release another cool mount to make up for $ lost because of your tank tunning and changes to ccs. Btw tank shortage lol havent fixed brew tanks at all. Swear AI runs that company
FOr me the worst is the myth track item only in the vault and only from +10 or higher... just give me the chance to get myth track from +8s, especially since they got now more upgrade tiers than before...
I hate to be that guy but...if you can't do 10s then you definitely can't do Mythic Raids which means you absolutely do not need Mythic gear. If you're not pushing a 10 or higher or doing Mythic Raids you don't need Mythic gear. Most people I see saying this crap just want the best loot just to have it.
@ why would you care what kind of gear I want and what I want it for? I don’t understand this gatekeeping attitude. I’d also argue, especially as a tank, that mythic raid (at least the first few bosses) are way easier than a plus 8 pug. But again that’s not even the point. I just want to play at my level (8s) while maintaining a sense of progression which I cannot do now. So why gatekeep myth gear?
@@cocinaquemola I can ask you the same. Why do you want Mythic gear when you can do the 8s and first 4 bosses of Mythic with heroic gear? Why do you feel the need to have it?
@@jethrodark2372 no that's not the same. we had it before, and it was taken away. it absolutely impacts my gameplay and it would impact yours 0 if it would be reversed. And when we had it the m+ community was absolutely stronger than now, so just why is that such a problem for you? Should the first 4 bosses in mythic also drop heroic gear so we can gatekeep gear even further? And I like to have better gear than needed because I pug as a tank, and with better gear I am able to save runs that otherwise would be lost. So now I am just not playing, one tank less in the pool and I know I am not the only one who is frustrated due to this hurdle. So again: why is this important? Why would anyone care if the kind of player that I am gets better gear at an +8 or not? it was like that since they introduced the crest system anyways.
@@cocinaquemola If Blizz wanna change it back I'm fine with it. But I'm tired of people thinking they deserve Mythic lvl gear when they don't even do the equivalent difficulty. I don't do M+ 10s and up for Mythic loot, I do it for fun. Sure it's nice to get from Raid or vault but I don't need it till later Mythic raids. If you are only doing 8s for Mythic gear or 10s then why bother? Heroic gear is more than enough for 8s and 10s or early Mythic raid.
You’re mentioning they forgot raids. They also forgot Delves which in my opinion is more in need of changes than the raid, but I could be wrong. Another thing I would really like is a change in discount. Currently it’s 30%, I would like to lower it to 25%, but have that discount per character that has the different achievements. So if you have 4 characters with the achievement of 619 in every slot, the fifth character can upgrade his gear without costs both crests and valorstones. I don’t think the changes will bring back a lot players. I think there needs to be done more to get players back. A lot of Delvers left and with certain answers in interviews by Blizzard they probably won’t get back.
i think a mistake theyre making with this change is theyre going for the more rewarding route than the less punishing route. sounds good on paper, wont help with declining playerbase. also wanna disagree heavily with you on season 2, season 2 is not their opportunity to bring people back. that opportunity was the start OF A NEW EXPANSION. gg blizz
Its strange because ive played WoW for a long time and even in "bad" expansions ive never felt the urge to quit. I even LOVED TWW the first few weeks. Unfortunately something is WAY off with this expansion and I've lost all interest in the game since 2007. Its not burnout because I want to play, but the Dragonflight War Within wombocombo left the game feeling like a completely different game, and not in a good way. I hope they do whatever it is they need to in order to fix it. I miss WoW.
Mythic 12+ and up are challenging, it's not FUN. As a healer main, I find the mid range mythic most toxic. People are demanding while expecting very little of themselves. Tanks are all crazy, they don't care if your group can't keep track of spell interrupt, can't heal cuz he's too far ahead and all kinds LoS issue. Like, you are expected to keep everyone up while running and LoS and have 2 thousand trash smacking you cuz you pull agro from healing too much. It's all healers fault. I barely brought myself through the mid range and got to 14. Groups are better, but the same runs over and over again finally did its toll. I'm officially retired from M+, and enjoying open world content. Don't have to go to bed with emotional garbage from M+ really improved sleep quality.❤
I got my portals and some 11’s on my resto shaman (I’ve given up on not playing fotm healers for awhile because of the things you mention), but I’ve been having fun just blasting low keys on alts, even with pugs. I hit 619 with one alt with decent trinkets and such and switch to the next. Maybe not the answer for you, but it’s giving me something moderately interesting to do until season 2. I can heal through a lot of stupid in a +7 if I’m decent at the class, although I’ve only done the meta-ish healers: shaman, disc, some pally, and very little Aug and monk. Tyrannical seems less stressful than fort weeks, too.
I quit wow at shadowlands because it annoyed me how they cater towards the top 1%, nothing else matters fo them, gave the game a chance in dragonflight and couldnt play it more than 2 months. Seeing how badly bfa, dragonflight and shadowlands did I thought they will change something not double down on it. sad to see thats all this game can offer now, burn out of the same 8m+ and one raid grinding in the first month and be done with the game. The whole game is just so hollow, like, the entire world is pointless to even be in the game, there is nothing to do when you are burnt out of M+ and you dont need anything from the raid anymore.
WoW and M+ reached end of its cycle. It's no longer fresh, new or exciting. It's boring, grindy, unrewarding slop. My sub ended, and I am not subbing back until they overhaul the whole M+ system to make a kind of Mythic+ 2.0 with exciting rewards, fast gameplay, and a dungeon pool that is at least 16 dungeons. Running same 8 dungeons for 6 months gets boring after 2 weeks. It's only interesting to the 1% that is pushing +14s and higher. I used to be a hardcore m+ player since BFA and with TWW it all burnt out. How many expacs in a row can you do the same thing over and over again? And the difficulty gets higher with each expac while rewards become worse. I find PoE2 more fun to play than WoW.
I came back from legion (6yr break never planned on coming back) in August and I have to admit I'm just not liking the game anymore. The divide between the 1% and the 99% is so in your face obvious it's not fun. The game seems like its made for a few top guildes and everyone else is just there to keep their lights on so that those guildes can play the entire game. Unlike the 99% I'm no fomo chaser so that might be where they lost me but I'm really not having fun playing. The phasing and their need to put sooooooooooooooooooo much terrain obstacles in wwi I feel like I'm trapped in a cave on the original metroid game. I should have spent my money on a Nintendo game and not the wwi expansion. Outside of raiding I did all expac content in less time than I spent on Tears of the Kingdom. Also I see blizz trying so hard to be a Zelda game it's comical. Need a glider to fly...play Nintendo.
Too little, too late. I've already checked out of the game for the time being. There is no incentive for me to keep playing at this point. Why would I? There is literally nothing to gain.
get the upgrade system out of the game, it doesn't fit the game at all. it's just slowing down everyones alts and famous blizzard disrespecting our time on purpose.
I want to know how brilliant M+ was before TWW? I did one or two in BFA and it was atrocious, never touched it again. I skipped DF because it was just boring. But imo, M+ is super fun so far at 8s and 9s. The main points for me with M+ is the lack of physical reward, and depletion can be a bitch. I haven't healed much because my wife heals (who has never done M+ before TWW) and I tank or DPS depending on if our BDK friend is playing.
absolutely hate the xal'atath affix need to go away can we just some m+ with just dungeon difficulty .......... no special crap just make each level harder thats it
Unpopular Opinion.... People will get bored and leave any game. I think it's faulty to point out X or Y as to why people don't want to play it for prolonged times... it's much more likely that people are just fine with what they've experienced, enjoyed it, and now what to experience other games. I'm not sure why anyone has this ideology that for an MMO to be good it must sustain numbers all the time - there's booound to be time periods of lesser player! That's just natural. I do love the changes coming out, though, so that's great.
Don't know what your smoking I can get its personal choose on art style but graphics its better than any other MMO out there you basically compare any other MMO on the market to classic and PC requirements are again are lower than all other MMOs to clearly people are using the wrong recommended setting...

We can't get excited about progressing the same bosses from a decade ago, but this is why there are options.
The only way to fix it is to replace the current dev team with one who understands how to make a fun video game.

This isn't going to change anything, a handful of crests more on content magnitudes harder is not going to make people run it, same goes for the extra crests on depletion.
Well, they don't have to
Totally agree
@@WoWatNight honestly, if your point is to improve the game for the people that play, that's not really the right attitude to take.
I think a big problem is content is being made for the 1% of players. That may be because those with the biggest platform to speak their voices happen to be those within the 1%. Think of the top two biggest WoW podcasts. They’re not your everyday WoW player; them having the largest voice influences the devs significantly.
4:36 I can't agree more there, in fact WoW has never been a game respecting your time as a player in any of its versions.
I used to enjoy it, though. Actually... EVERY OTHER SEASON I enjoyed more than this one.
We agree with the first reply to this
I don't know man, I played a lot of DF S3, gear was easy, had a bunch of alts playing 20+ for fun. Back then 16s or 18s were enough for vault.
@@pilotmorgan8669 preach my dude! Couldn't have worded it better myself.

@whereisthesurvivalhunter9525 I think tons of effort is going into the game. That's actually very clear to me. It's the higher level decision making that's probably ruining everything.
It looks like you are very bad at this game 😂

It is tough to do WoW without an organized guild. It can feel lonely.
Thanks for watching a WoW video anyway
@Trazynn spoken like a true casual. Timed content is not the only thing you subscribe for anyway
More intense world quests? Hmm, something to think about.

I wish one could queue up for mythics
We believe they should make the zone worth exploring and never remove flying.
The crest changes for M+ are really good. However, as a brewmaster main of all things, I'm gonna continue playing other games until they get the tank balance in order.
Understandable!
I feel you on this. I'm a blood DK main but I only play my Mage in TWW because I would NEVER want to tank in the current state of things.

how can you people still play this
Sometimes, painstakingly
In line with this video, Blizzard recently announced more M+ tuning changes for 11.0.7
Kinda silly that they are hammering the difficulty this late in the season but is it what it is. Alot of it is in regards to trash tank busters.
My 2 cent
Make first weekly mythic vault starts at 8+ (as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish)
Gilded starts drops from 6+ (as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish)
Portals at 10+ (as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish)
Remove the Tanks nerfs ((as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish))
Make any CC counts as interrupts (as it was in S3 & S4 in DF after calculating the key squish)

It takes longer to make ilvl progress without a dedicated raiding guild.
Enjoyed the raid, got AOTC then did a few mythic bosses. Could not be bothered to push more for M+. Pushed to like 2300 io then just got tired of the amount of things you need to pay attention to while running and the lack of reward motivation I stopped. I got my ahead of the curve and stopped. Pugging M+ stops being fun after +8 and I didn’t really see a point in going higher. Once the game feels like a chore I drop it for the next season
Because Mythic+ *IS* the problem. Delete them.
It is not about mythic + itself, but making it THE game, now that made it the worse thing ever, they traded WoW for WoMythic+, now people looking for Warcraft elsewhere.
M+ is actually one of most popular activities, so it is funding the game to have players who want to do it. But the current season has been not great.

Its been such a fun and amazing experience not only leveling but gearing efficiently and easily. I don't care to play Mythic + nor raiding but im sure for many people thats the true endgame that entices them back to WoW in the first place, so again, I totally get it.

Yeah different emphasis on phases of the game play. As for wowhead, thank you.
The number of streamers claiming tanking 'is fine' yet the sheer amount of tanks, people have tanked years or dabbled on alt tanks saying entirely the opposite boggles the mind; at this point its more a question to myself and many others if streamers genuinely enjoy the more punishing tank style or are outright being paid by Blizzard to repeat the lie in attempt to normalize it
As a now former Vengeance DH, yea, tanking is straight garbage rn and I refuse to do it.
Id wager that 99% of streamers run in set groups and never pug anything. Blizzard could make everything the equivalent of dragging your body through broken glass and they would never notice because its only an issue for people who dont make playing the game a job.
We think many of the tanks are fun, but not necessarily fine in a lot of circumstances.
As a raider, I wish M+ was less rewarding because I hate M+. I don’t want to be forced into it.
M+ers feel the same way about raid trinkets and power grabs.
Wish I could agree on the raid but Ovinax is a genuinely horrific encounter.
It's a stinker, but it fortunately managed not to ruin the last three by being fifth in a field of eight! Close call!
the lore channels seem to be very happy with what the new island has
but i guess for most of us who dont care about lore, its not really much
Yeah we're not big on lore
Yeah been doing mythic+ since BFA and they are really hard now there really needs to be some tweaking and we need to go back to the old affixes
Sounds about right
I'd love to see some nerfs to Prot paladin, and some sort of rework for DK/Monk spikeness. It's really annoying a major change on tanks in the beggining of exp. and absolutely no follow ups
This is par for the course. It's the halfway point and everybody starts circle jerking about 1 and 3 things, the raid, m plus, or PVP.
It's a very real cycle.
6 weeks of showing off my hateforged blaze cycle 😂😂😂😂
I'm just not going to play (beyond getting my mount and portals) until they either bring affixes back or release Legion classic.
all the ppl who hate flying are classic boomers who are already playing on classic servers anyway, tired of flying being the reward for stuff.
In a game where I can shoot a fireball under wanted I expect to be able to fly on my flying mount. I didn't mind paying in LK for the hilarious and expensive cold weather flying or the licenses that came prior.
nothing for delves? i am still sittig that one out
Ah, so Arathi are humans with pointed ears much like Hylians?
Those Arathi mixed with Elves most likely. Hylians aren't the only ones with pointy ears.
Yup.

Those are definitely stats we're interested in.
I quit doing mythics as a tank and do other content. I like to have fun and not being punished.
Is it really THAT hard for them to make key depletion not happen anymore? That's the main thing we all want...
Evidently...
I think people need to get out of the mindset that they should be able to complete all content. The very best gear is there for people who want the challenge. If you don't want the challenge you literally don't need the gear that comes from it in the first place.
Maybe that's enough for you
@WoWatNight personally i like there being something to still try to achieve.
On the topic of healing absorbs, if you want them to be the main thing healers contend with for a whole tier, either reduce their total absorb or stop fucking making them absorb 100%, nothing is less rewarding to healers than pressing some massive heals only to see green text that says (absorb 2.5 million) and no health bars move at all
The dispels and trinket scarcity with no vendor are big pain points
I think wow has become less a game where you have fun, and more of whatever M+ is. Whatever happened to rescuing low leveled guildies from the opposite faction, and raiding towns and cities, and having huge battles in the barrens. Or even battling over world monuments for buffs?
Very wow classic of you
Ill bring in a bot of pvp pov for those wondering (im 2.4 on main atm in shuffle on 3 specs, 2.2 in 3s, 2.1 on healer alt in shuffle and have a few more from 1.8 to 2.1 in different brackets) Pvp atm is a DF pvp (which was good) copy+paste, but slightly worse. That being said, we understand pvp is a small niche and for m+ people want as much aoe as possible, so this will never turn back
We appreciate the PvP update :D
Release another cool mount to make up for $ lost because of your tank tunning and changes to ccs. Btw tank shortage lol havent fixed brew tanks at all. Swear AI runs that company
They need to make a lot of changes.
This company died when blizzard north left
Obviously not, since they're still making money to make more things
You’re mentioning they forgot raids. They also forgot Delves which in my opinion is more in need of changes than the raid, but I could be wrong.
Another thing I would really like is a change in discount. Currently it’s 30%, I would like to lower it to 25%, but have that discount per character that has the different achievements. So if you have 4 characters with the achievement of 619 in every slot, the fifth character can upgrade his gear without costs both crests and valorstones.
I don’t think the changes will bring back a lot players. I think there needs to be done more to get players back. A lot of Delvers left and with certain answers in interviews by Blizzard they probably won’t get back.
i think a mistake theyre making with this change is theyre going for the more rewarding route than the less punishing route. sounds good on paper, wont help with declining playerbase.
also wanna disagree heavily with you on season 2, season 2 is not their opportunity to bring people back. that opportunity was the start OF A NEW EXPANSION.
gg blizz
Fair enough
Its strange because ive played WoW for a long time and even in "bad" expansions ive never felt the urge to quit. I even LOVED TWW the first few weeks. Unfortunately something is WAY off with this expansion and I've lost all interest in the game since 2007. Its not burnout because I want to play, but the Dragonflight War Within wombocombo left the game feeling like a completely different game, and not in a good way. I hope they do whatever it is they need to in order to fix it. I miss WoW.
I only recorded one comment for this video. Also, I only recorded one comment for this video!
Why why why taking the flying away ine more time....wtf
They are good at making some questionable decisions!
Impressed you got this video out with PoE 2 out
Wow, I could hardly call those things changes, more like repeats. Ring, really? not even trying, Blizz...
They're doing their best. Maybe.
@@WoWatNight With 20 years on this game and their budget AND mothly payments ... This should not be "Their best"
Well, we appreciate you watching our vid, even though you hate wow now :)
Well, the good news is that we also make PoE 2 content on our @PathofEvening channel.
Unlike the 99%
I'm no fomo chaser so that might be where they lost me but I'm really not having fun playing.
Your sentiments are shared with lots of others.
I can't stand retail as a newish player. Classic has taken all of my time recently.
Well, we're glad you found something you like, but we can't relate.
@WoWatNight I think it's just the difference in styles and new player onboarding.
Too little, too late. I've already checked out of the game for the time being. There is no incentive for me to keep playing at this point. Why would I? There is literally nothing to gain.
Pogggggg
get the upgrade system out of the game, it doesn't fit the game at all. it's just slowing down everyones alts and famous blizzard disrespecting our time on purpose.
Ion has to go
Maybe
I want to know how brilliant M+ was before TWW? I did one or two in BFA and it was atrocious, never touched it again. I skipped DF because it was just boring.
But imo, M+ is super fun so far at 8s and 9s. The main points for me with M+ is the lack of physical reward, and depletion can be a bitch. I haven't healed much because my wife heals (who has never done M+ before TWW) and I tank or DPS depending on if our BDK friend is playing.
We're glad someone is having fun
Lightsmith is just too beta male for me to play it. Don't be afraid to be a chad and run Templar.

absolutely hate the xal'atath affix need to go away can we just some m+ with just dungeon difficulty .......... no special crap just make each level harder thats it

WoW does ebb and flow, but they've been a major player for a long time.
