In the manga their relationship ( not the romance kind ) actually did get better although you and I can prob understand why is he like that since if someone's at the company you work at for years where you have been suddenly gets a promotion while he/she was just here for a like week? Or a few days idk about much time Fran stayed as a rookie rank (again I forgot what its called )
Amanda is like the anime equivalent of Helga Prysellius from Pippi Longstocking, except that her methods of recruiting you to her children's home are less Karen-like, more glomp-heavy and don't have any escaped convicts cooperating.
@@basillah7650 she nullified Fran's attack using a skill with a 24h cooldown. a second, similar, attack would obliterate Amanda. and, while I can't make any claim about Amanda having raised Fran's parents, that doesn't means Amanda is her grandmother. from what you say, and we can see, Amanda and Fran doesn't share blood.

Amanda is the closest thing that Fran has to a living family because she raised Frans parents since they were toddlers and they considered her their mother and later even came back with new born Fran to get her blessing. 2. Shishou himself admits that if Amanda gone all out they together would stand zero chance against her.
Amanda was entirely calm and wasn't even tired. What fight did you see? Because, no offense, some things about Amanda's experience flew over your head.

Amanda admited that the skill that saved her was used automatically and that it has a large cooldown so, if they had continued the fight, the next time it would had been game over for amanda. yes. Amanda was calm and didn't look tired but, she admited defeat after the final attack of Fran. and Fran didn't even use her best attacks. stealing one of Amanda's skills would had been a good tactic but she didn't use it. summoning a familiar (like shisho did on a later chapter) would also had been a good strategy. and, let's not forget, it was the first time Fran fought without shisho's assitance. Fran imposed several restrictions on herself while fighting Amanda and still forced her to use her best skill. one that has a long cooldown and wouldn't be able to use again if the fight continued.
