This is my favorite scene in Trigun!!! Instead of wallowing in sadness, Vash decides to run toward his problem to find a solution rather then run from it
Vash going through his sadness, self doubt, and self loathing is one thing, but to live through it and continue his walk through the desert, which is a VAST walk through the desert is awesome. I'd call it life affirming. His resilience is inspiring.
This is my favorite scene in any anime ever. It's so powerful, so perfectly communicates the feeling of re-awakening. In that first second Vash is profound and genuine, but also cool as hell. There's a touch of levity to him, but it's all sincere. Vash is my role model.
Maybe im looking into it too much but the religious symbolism goes crazy ngl, Vash being a beacon of peace is very similar to christ, and him "bearing the cross" and him mentioing how its "heavy" I believe this shows how vash must bear the sins for ALL humans on gunsmoke, and despite all the horrible things hes been through he will always fight for said peace. Amazing show
I grew up with this anime, man, and this scene still stays with me out of the many many others. Vash helped mold me into the man I am today, for that I thank him. Love and peace!!!
Oooooo I love it! It really shows she loves him too! They're so cute together. Vash os like the knight/hero and Meryl is like the princess wishing him off while he goes to fight the boss. I think she was trying to play it cool, she couldn't admit her feelings to him.
@@austinjrbthat one is different than this one. That one has a overly loud snare going off that this one doesn’t. I used an mp3 downloader to get the audio off a UA-cam video that didn’t have that snare and used a daw to cut off the second part of the beat switch.
In the original, Milly urges Meryl to tell Vash she has feelings for him. I'm not completely sure why she doesn't, but let's just say neither of them are particularly good at this, lol. They're both kinda bad at feelings.
“Why is this cross so heavy?”
“Because it’s so full of mercy.”
Things full of other things are usually heavy. I didn’t ’t know that also applied to concepts and ideas.
@@samuelblackthorne9122 Thanks for sharing your thoughts Samuel. Have a good one brother. God bless. 🙏
Milly was the heart of that show.
@@DarkVeghetta agreed 👍👍👍👍
@@DarkVeghetta She is an absolute joy in every scene she's in.

PASSION OF THE CHRIST 2: CRUCIFY THIS!
For me the music made this moment pretty hype for when Vash finally confronts his brother
Bro we're the exact same. The music is what made this so memorable for me all those years ago when I first saw it. 100%.
The cross is indeed full of mercy
Amen, brother

0:34 the determination vash has in facing his brother and getting ready to settle it for good
0:49 is parallel to Cowboys Bebop when Faye askes Spike is he going .

The creator of the original manga was a newly converted Christian so he added allot of Christ like symbolism.
Yasuhiro Nightow is a Catholic convert

Full of mercy
I love this anime Trigun, In the Brazilian version, he's Vash the cattle burst, and as a person who causes a lot of confusion. hahahahahahaha
"Cattle Burst" sounds way more badass than a "Stampede" 🤣 I love that hahaha
@@austinjrb In the literal translation into Portuguese, it would be Vesh the debanded, a dull thing hahahaha
O intankavel Vash o estouro da boiada
like cptFalcon Vash is powered by our lord and saviour. deep down. now he carries it.
Love can be so hard some times.
Meryl’s got a crush

In the manga they are in love with eachother and that terrifies Vash.
That’s clearly a .45 but in the new one it’s a 22?!?
Yep. It's one of the changes they made for Stampede
Does anyone know where I can find the background music by itself

I never watched Trigun,
Bro's not Jesus "Mafaking plant" Christ
Love this scene
Ремейк просто сосёт у оригинала. Надо кастрировать людей, которые портят оригинальные шедевры.
In spanish she says the cross is packed full of love. Still an amazing scene.
And in russian she says it's full of faith. Guess evetyone just decided to make a different translation :D

Meryl looks so sad when she’s being shaken by Millie.
Why was Meryl not willing to say anything else to him?
