This anime forced me to start getting the light novels I have now up on volume 11. The anime covers the events of volumes 1 and 2 almost lying for line with a few changes here and there. And Amanda's relationship to Fran isn't revealed untilVolume 9 in the light novels. Everything else is pretty accurate I highly doubt they're gonna take the anime to the end but I hope they do And I hope they don't rush things like they've done for other great easi novels that they've animated
@@jack-boe8751 Sword is getting a season 2. It has been confirmed. Season 2 hopefully is also only gonna cover 2 books. Which means the floating island arc and the next town after it I won't say what arc it is because I don't want to spoil it.

The last scene in the last episode gave a clue but I’m not sure if it gives a clue of a new season. Besides Tensei shitara slime s3 trailer is out now
