  • I rode my bike from Miami to Key West. It's a 180-mile trip which took me two days. Both days I did about 90 miles. It was a beautiful ride on the Overseas Heritage Trail. Take a look at the video.

    I ride my specialized Rubiux on 28mm Gatorskins and have never had a flat. That is good you are rolling along flat free. That is a great ride. @@FollowThomas wow! Ok thanks. Im totally going to plan that trip for one of these weekends. Sounds like a amazing journey. I know the traffic on the u.s. can move pretty fast and theres reckless drivers. Was the traffic ever worrisome or sketchy during the trip? Ik the shoulder is ussualy fairly wide but also really small in some parts.

    • @FollowThomas
      @FollowThomas  3 роки тому +2

      @@brendenbenoit7539 Actually shoulder is pretty wide always. As long as you make yourself visible there are no worries. Also, there is a bike trail, Overseas Heritage Trail which takes you completely out of traffic. Don't rely on Google maps only because there are some errors, recommending you to take the wrong road from Homestead to North Key Largo. Go straight instead, from Homestead to Key Largo. A seven-mile bridge is not recommended by Google Maps but no worries it's like any other bridge, just longer.
