It kinda helps that most Filipinos can speak English, that way, you could easily talk to/ask people around.
Yeah you’re right. I haven’t had a hard time communicating with them. They’re also super kind and friendly (:
@@GeorgeJapan arigato 😊
Even the ones who doesn't speak English can understand the gist of what you're trying to say. You can pretty much get around anywhere in the Philippines.
Ahhh YESSS, the Filipino way of eating mang inasal. Using the hands rather than the eating utensils is just 👌👌👌🤤.
true
Ikr
I'd love to enjoy it this way, but I just can't eat with hands, except if I washed them as well as a surgeon before an operation! I would feel bad the whole meal otherwise, lol.
Also, having dirty hands later, and the smell sticking even after multiple washes, is something I hate soooo much (I love burgers and fast food in general but I have the smell after I eat them)
@@Hexalyse there is a way to remove the smell. Rub your hands in a any stainless steel and it will remove the odors.
@@noname-nc9jv Thanks, I'll try this next time
Hi, George! Here's the technique to eating 5+ cups of rice.
Cup 1 - eat just the skin
Cup 2 - half of the chicken breast
Cup 3 - other half of chicken breast
Cup 4 - eat the upper wing
Cup 5 - lower wing
Other tips:
- eat 2 spoons/handfuls (or more) of rice per piece of chicken
- slurp the soup and eat rice
- avoid drinking as much as you can
When I was younger, this technique helped me eat 8 cups of rice. 🤣 Very goooood 👍
Oh man, you’re the best teacher I’ve ever known
@@GeorgeJapan try unlimited eat all you can at Spiral buffet in sofitel Hotel manila Philippines.
for additional cups, you can eat the bones too. Some people find it weird but the bones are delicious and soft IMHO.
@@GeorgeJapan you're so kind. I'm always here to help. Hehe!
Salamat Senpai. 😆 Kaya pala hindi ako makalampas ng tatlo
I love George respecting the culture and eating with his hand 😁
To be fair, it's not uncommon to other asian countries but yeah
@@mango-float Indians and Indonesians also eat using their hands
Using chopsticks on the chicken 😂😂😂
Congrats George, you eat Inasal like a pro, very Filipino🙂..so glad you are having fun...still lots to discover..kudos to the people taking care of you here, good job😊👏
happy to see your foodventures here in the Philippines! been watching your reviews in Food Wars and it's amazing to watch you review Filipino food this time 🤩 i hope you enjoy(ed) your stay!!! 🥳
I'm glad you have a friend who gives you tips! 😊 also a tip from me: in case you have sauce or soup poured on your rice, it may be difficult to eat with your hands cause you won't be able to scoop the rice effectively 😅 especially since we use plates instead of bowls. you can use your spoon in this case and it's totally acceptable. Also if you eat any noodles or pasta, we use fork instead of spoon or chopsticks👍 anyway, i got hungry watching you eat. I think i'd have Mang Inasal soon too! 😆
I also let my Japanese friend try Mang Inasal when she visited here and she told me it was really delicious! She loved the chicken and halo-halo! 😊👍
I‘m hyped for all the future food Vlogs :)
Loving everything about this video; how you seemingly interact with people around you so easily and very genuinely, and how you learned to eat with your hands to enjoy the food the best way possible. Keep on vlogging!
I'm so happy you liked mang inasal! Also, I think the reason people were looking/staring was because you were filming. Filipinos tend to wave at camera (or like being seen on cam) sometimes.
WOW! What an amazing place to eat.
Another amazing how-much-can-George-eat video! I think everyone stared at you because you're a HANDSOME (Pogi) foreigner! That chicken and rice did look delicious! Eating with your hands looked very satisfying... Thanks for sharing your culinary adventures!
😉
That looks soooo good!!! Hope you're having a great time traveling George! And thanks for taking us along! ♥️✌️♥️
100% glad ur enjoying your stay in the Philippines
Looking delicious 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I wanna try the unlimited rice challenge!! Unlimited is one of my favorite word 😋
Thanks for the video George, greetings from Belgium.
Konnichiwa, George! You look like you're having a really good time in the Phillipines lol! Filipino food looks very oishi! Enjoy! I have a passport already and I cannot wait to travel one day! Japan will be one of my stops. I hope to run into you one day while traveling so you can teach me some Japanese lol! Be safe on your travels around the world! Much love from New York! 🥰😁😘
Kudos... Only few foreigners tried to eat with their bare hands.. thats how u experience good food here in Philippines. Im sure u earned lots of love from Filipinos 😊. Keep it up
It’s been an evolution seeing you eat with your hands
Glad you are enjoying your trip 😁
ジョ-ジさんが世界旅行でいっぱい食べって幸せになるように💕
Oh woww I didn’t know you’re in Philippines! It’s so nice, please come to Thailand and explore the street foods and night market here too, you’ll love it 😁🇹🇭
Excellent George..... U r just amazing🤗👍
Maybe you can get 2 sets of chicken bbq when you eat at Mang Inasal next time. The first set is chicken with only one cup of rice and another set is chicken with unlimited rice combo. So you can have 2 pieces of chicken bbq while doing the unli-rice challenge at Mang Inasal. Though my suggestion is much more expensive than having only one chicken bbq with unli rice. 😄🍗🍚🇵🇭
I love it looks so good and the people are so friendly.
They’re super friendly
Thanks for sharing your culinary delights with us!! Can’t wait for your next country💕
You always put a smile on my face. So glad you share your life with us.
This video reminded me that in Mexico we also eat roasted or grilled chicken with rice and beans, but it is also served with a lot of "tortillas": unfortunately, no more rice portions for free are served, just one!!😥. And so cute with the comments of the girls on one side (your face was like ---> ☺, haha, you better get used to it!!) George rocks! saludos.
I'm glad that you are so hungry because I like to watch people enjoying their food!
U better collab with a japanese guy vlogger who use to stay in philippines and hes also famous there. He is in tokyo now ,he speaks tagalog also.He is Fumiya!!!😊
This is awesome. I’m really enjoying your vlogs. Look forward to your next adventure.
You’re easily becoming my favorite UA-camr!
I like you video , onigiri and song 🇹🇷🇹🇷 from turkey
This looks really good! Thanks for another good episode😃😃😃😃
Every time I watch your new vids, couldn't help but smile. Hope you enjoyed your meal at Mang Inasal! :D
I remembered eating 15 cups of rice in SM Mang Inasal years ago. I got too busy with school works which made me miss both breakfast and lunch, and so I ate at a cheat meal at Mang Inasal at about 1 pm. Back then, there was no unlimited soup (at least in our area).
I started with drinking a bit of cold water to cool off my throat and mouth and add moisture. Then to each cup of rice I added a bit of chicken oil and soy sauce. I took a small bite of chicken and finish the whole cup of rice with the chicken. Probably because I was so hungry, I did not notice that I already ate 14 cups of rice. Since I had one last bite of chicken left before it was all bones, I ate 1 last cup which resulted to having eaten 15 cups of rice total.
I literally had to remove 1 month worth of cheat meals and increase my gym time just to avoid getting fatter than I already was XD
Thank you for your honest feedback I once an employee of Mang inasal head office and I know how delicious our product because of the team R&D department are not limited with their effort to further improve maintain the quality of the chicken and i cant forget na isa ako sa lagi sa nag tetest sa 3 samples of chicken with different formulas ng flavor kung anu ang mas masarap sa 3 samples hahahahha Busog always.
You are so pogi George-san! It was hilarious when you said finger licking good, I thought it's a KFC thing lol
I love how he say masarap. Amazing
Glad it's almost lunch time 😅
looks amazing 😊
I love your content George
Mang Inasal is actually one of my favorite chicken flavors when I last came to the Philippines! It's just so flavorful and juicy. The sauce makes it even better!
Enjoy your stay in the Philippines!

This is such a strange but wonderful series for me to be viewing. I know you originally from the Reaction video to Chris Broad's video from a couple years ago, but now, as a Filipino American, it's honestly very wholesome to see you do both Food Wars as well as these videos in the Philippines. Keep up the good work and I hope you enjoyed your stay there. Your videos are making me want to go back and visit my family again!
Mang Inasal is very popular here in the Philippines and most Filipinos really loved it😊🇵🇭.. The chilli garlic sauce, soy sauce with chilli and kalamansi, hot sour soup and the unlimited rice are all so good😋..
So i hope you really enjoyed ur food trip at Mang Inasal😊
He’s like a down to earth guy, stay safe George! ❤
3pm is Merienda time/Afternoon snack time in the Philippines and for those who miss their 12 noon or 1 pm lunch.
That looks so delicious!
you nailed the eating using hands,,,! more videos to come
I remember when I was younger, my record for the unli rice there is 16 cups. Nowadays, I can't even make it to 4 cups.
On a side note, I've been binge-watching your videos lately and I'm loving every single one of it!
That looks AMAZING 🤤 I’m so hungry now lol I must try someday 💯🙌🏻

MANG INASAL IS THE BEST
💕💕💕
Glad that you enjoyed your Mang Inasal experience!
George is so naturally funny haha the part when he was learning how to say "masarap" cracked me up. I remembered the vids of him teaching how to curse in Japanese, now I'm wondering if it would be possible to do a how to curse in Filipino video 😂
Awesome George
That chicken looks amazingly delicious. Thanks, George 😊
“Masarap!” = Umai!! Good job George!!
Oh...yes mang inasal is yummy one of my favorite restaurants... LAMI KAAYO
The original place to eat inasal is Bacolod city kamayan country .
It’s where I came from …I can’t get enough of watching vlogs of that place. It’s memorable place for me coz that’s the last place we ate when we left Philippines to move to US in 1990 …yes that place already exist back then 👍👍👍 delicious..
Your reaction is adorable 😂
It was entertaining to see you eat , George, and your review of Mang Inasal’s chicken made me want to eat it, too! Too bad I’m in the US right now😅. Glad to see that you think it’s “masarap”!ありがとうございます for your wholesome videos.😌
Getting hungry watching this. Gotta hit the local mang inasal here later.
Now I'm hungry after watching all your eating vlogs😭😭😭

Aww man.. I normally just watch your videos and like but I simply HAD to say something on this one .. you've always been a top entertainer however this one had me literally laughing out loud.. Keep doing what you're doing! Greetings from Germany.
How I wish I could also travel to JAPAN someday!!! Your new filipino subscriber here!!! Enjoy!!!! 😍😍😍
New subscriber here, smiling while looking at your way of eating Mang Inasal Busog na busog ka!
I love Mang Inasal, they have a plethora of branches in the Philippines. I always order the fried kangkong ( do they still have this, ?) , unlimited rice ( they call it now UNLI rice) , and the chicken thigh ( we Filipinos call it PAA). George , you look handsome , eating with gusto !
You can eat to "Wingers" George where they have unlimited rice+chicken wings+fries and its also unli drinks any drinks you like 🤗🤗🤗 just sharing 😊😊😊
Wow so good
We want to see you eating Sisig, Lechon, Sinigang, Adobo, Dinuguan, Torta, Liempo, BicolExpress and a lot more!!!
In my country there’s also unlimited rice & raw veggies in a Chicken restaurant, but not many places do. And we also had “manual” touch-screen method for ordering foods. You just tell them full or half portion of rice and then pointed at which dish you like to add to your plate. And then pay for the dish on your plate. We call this type of restaurant as warteg.
In my experience, the hungrier I am (empty stomach), the less I can eat. Don't know why.
Itadakimasu!
Me too. I think it's because the stomach shrinks. I'm not positive.
ME TOO
I think Lina is right. If I'm eating a big meal later I have to snack and/or have a small meal in the day, or else I get full super fast.
Next time, try (Baliwag) roasted chicken and liempo/pork belly.
Wish we had that restaurant here in the states.
The way you eating by hands is soo cuteee but kinda awkward lol. Cant wait for the indonesia tour 💖
Hello enjoy food trip in mang inasal unlimited rice masarap ang chicken god bless stay safe
I'm hungry now.. 🤤🤤
George, you should visit visayas and its beautiful beaches and diverse cuisine! ❤️❤️❤️
Another entertaining video.
9:00 the secret behind those 6 or 10 cups of rice is the CHICKEN OIL (they yellow oil in the bottle ) LOL
If you are starving, Mang inasal is the best choice. 👍👍👍💕💕 I hope you are enjoying your stay here in 🇵🇭.. 🥰 You're so adorable, I liked your vibe. 😊
Thanks dude!!! Ima UA-camr from Guam but I’m manila RN!! Hello hopefully I see you guys
My personal record on rice is 12 cups.... and most of my friends can eat up to 10.... I remember before... we had ROTC, after, we went to mang inasal, a whole platoon.... We ate so much rice, The person bringing rice told us that the remaining rice is still cooking.... We almost finished most of the rice on that chain
They are looking at you because you are not foreigner, they are looking at you because you are vlogging hahaha, you could honestly pass as a half filipino tbh
Next time brohter george, mukbang mang inasal 😊
