unlike most tourist, this guy is actually very considerate towards people and everything around him
And for a Western tourist like him to take such spicy noodle challenge and endured, in Indonesia, now that's very respectable.
He's nice guy dude!?
Jangan siasiakan aku kata makanan itu, makanan itu berkat dari Tuham
Once he was in India few students met him at a food stall. He paid the bills for students and Said "you are students you don't earn let me pay. I am younger than you and I earn also so it's my responsibility to serve you"
@@buktikarokaro7049Ya Dia Kepedesan Liat Kondisi
The real foodvlogger .. gak perlu efek cahaya putih klu makanan enak. Gak perlu banyak editan. Gak ada gimmick. Simple, penjelasan yang detail, cool max
betul, 50 menit video bisa dinikmatin, giliran foodvloger indo 10 menit aja gw skip²
@@muhammadwildan7837 anjir bener loh tapi, gw ga nyangka nonton ini tuh full dari menit awal sampai selesai, ga da rasa pengen skip2 gitu.
Sama kaya vlogger Dale Philips
@@muhammadkhairanrozan9428ril, nggak perlu edit2 ribet yg penting jujur pembawaannya, klo enak bilang enak klo nggak bilang nggak
@@MhmmdArklo bilang g enak nanti dihujat dibilang matiin rejeki org 😂
Never leave your smartphone even just for to wash your hands, Max. Enjoy your time in Jakarta, and please take care of your stomach. Stay healthy 🇮🇩
norak lu
Yeah in indonesia dont ever trust any place bcs if you lose something you cant take it back even you call police or the owner they cant help
Not only in indonesia, even in europe there are plenty of pickpockets
And so India is
@@davidariesandjaya2063and so France😂😂😂
Abang ini makan sampai piring bersih, lho. Bahkan temanku banyak yang menyisakan makanan. Respect.
Bule apalagi cowo biasanya kbnyakn kalo makan tuh suka banyak..apalagi KLo orang2 kayak suka traveller dan kulineran diberbagai negara yg dia kunjungi kayak gini.
Teman mu tidak tau betapa susahnya mencari uang untuk makan
emang bule nggak suka menyia nyiakan makanan bang apalagi traveler
orang luar negri sedikit saja yang menyisakan makanan nya kebanyakan bersih karna mereka lebih menghargai makanan ,tidak boleh di sisakan ,bikin sulit cari rejeki kata mereka kalau buang" makanan
Gda hubungan nya klo udh pedas
Hi Max, I've been following you for quite sometimes and I found that your channel is very interesting especially in your openness to Indonesian street food. Big respect.
I guess you'll find many more spectrums of Indonesian culture if you could speak bahasa more fluently..
I'm sure you'll get there someday..
Keep healthy and energized, happy exploring. Have fun...
after that you still gave him a 100k because of his situation, god bless you man, thank you for being a kind person
You are so brave to indonesian food, and so generous to the local too.. Respect!
Mba yg jual air jujur bgt, suka deh liat org baik yg ga markup harga pas ada kesempatan.. harganya buat bule tetep 5k.. keren mbaa
bare minimum, tapi ga semua orang bisa yaa.
boro-boro bule, kadang tourist luar daerah pun suka di markup harganya. pengalaman di malioboro dulu cmn grgr plat B😂
Your very kind max, keep making videos even in long duration I won't get bored watching it, more love!
you are a very friendly and polite person, thank you for coming to our country, i hope u enjoy it ^^
Thank you for the brief History lesson of Soekarno-Hatta.
Mad Respect, Mas Max.
Hebat, ini bule pecinta pedas, jarang sekali ada bule yg suka pedas, keren 👍
Mark wiens: are you kidding?
@@SuhendraSukiman highlight... "jarang"
Bnyk bro wkwk cmn rata² bule Amerika/eropa kurang suka pedas
Thank you for your willingness to try our cuisine and helping local people you meet along the way! I am enjoying your videos so much because you always interact with people and try to understand them
daym this guy is not only humble and kind but he also learn every country, u earn my respect my guyy.
You're officially an Indonesian now. Can still talk after eating mie abang adek and without milk? That's a huge achievement.
Now please try seblak jeletet murni and your spicy journey can continue...
You are a really kind person and give 100 thousand rupiah to driver bajaj..really??? You are the one among bule who most kind...two tumbs.👍👍
There are so many food options at that restaurant, and while I may have a problem with choice, I love it!
You are great, promoting no littering, there is only one earth, we should all care for the environment!
Eating spicy food can keep out the cold and refresh you, which is good; but eating too spicy food can harm your health, haha!
The spiciest noodle is actually in Taiwan, but that restaurant has announced that it will stop selling the spiciest noodle.
The spiciest noodle now sold is actually the second spiciest!
You can go to Taiwan to challenge the second spiciest noodle, I believe it will be an unforgettable experience for you!
After you finish your lunch, you go for breakfast cereal, which is really special, haha!
We all know how you feel when you were waiting for dinner. We always want to get the meal as soon as possible, but your expression is too cute, haha!
Please remember that all Western desserts are recommended to be refrigerated to maintain freshness and texture!
Although I don’t like mint chocolate as you do, you should give other flavors a chance!
I also like the last dessert, macarons, all flavors are great! Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍🤩👏
I had to delete the sentence about why Taiwan doesn’t sell the most delicious and spicy noodles before I can upload it successfully.
It seems that CCP is at work again!
Unfortunately, the red heart that Max just gave is gone!
The local people are so friendly! I love Indonesian food so much. Love from the USA.
You are very polite and well mannered sir. Happy to have someone like you with us here. If youre still here please enjoy uour staying and makes great memories with us ❤
Thanks for sharing some history about Indonesia. So many visitors have no idea. Btw you are extremely courageous to eat some of the things you choose. Ive been here for 30 years and it took me at least 10 years to be accustomed to the flavours and chilli spice. Excellent job. 👍
Saya sangat menyukai kamu Max yang selalu menghabiskan makanan apapun itu makanannya, kamu sangat menghargai sesuatu❤️
Yah tul max.orang nya jga wellcam.baik suka sambel yng aku suka.sm max..tu 👍👌🥰
Damn, Indonesians boil their veg with coconut juice, that's amazing idea. Gotta try it myself, love from Vietnam ❤
You can try,, its delicious.. 😂
Even for Indonesians that level of cabe and pedas is killer 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Yeah it was crazy spicy
@@dailymax24but since you’re that crazy - go to Sumatra trying sambal andaliman
Let us know pls 😂😂😂
max u forget to buy some kerupuk, next time to padang restaurant make sure to order kripik jangek - it contains deep fried cow skin (packed small portion) dipped/bath in curry sauce
Enjoy the country of Indonesia, which has many kinds of delicious Indonesian food and beautiful places.
Hello max. It's great to see you back in Indonesia. If you have time, let's stop by Manado, North Sulawesi. Enjoy and take care!
Kau sangat menghargai negara kami.
Terimakasih max 😊
Aku senang melihat konten konten mu
When you're in Jakarta, you called Bang for male, and Mpok for female (only Jakarta), when you get to Bogor or west Java area it's Aa and Teteh. Mas and Mbak is for Javanese, when it's Chinese Indonesian you used Ko and Ci.
Kak. Sama Bang aja si.. Lebih universal indonesia..
terkecuali untuk chindo sih, w pernah beli voucher game yg jaga kokoh cina dipannggil bang gk nengok" giliran di panggil koh langsung respon wkwkwk
@@rennodelavida5827 kalo cina malay malah marah di panggil koh ama chichi..
I like Girl from cereal store , her speaking skill is what i want, just relax not nervous
i am amazed by the trust in all these countries-where you eat and then pay. In North America that is unheard of, other than a sit down restaurant ofcourse. But if it was like this, so many people would take off without leaving.
Are you Will make sexy lips just eat cabe or Chili 👌👌👍👍Triust me its working
Really? 😂 in north America? In other country they hex you with diarrhea if you do. Plus they remember your face
This is part of the ethics that we must prioritize someone who is hungry and then after being full, then make the payment. and if I take a step back, it is part of religion that teaches us to respect guests, especially providing food or drinks. and if this guest is a restaurant customer, then in this video you can see the facts 😊😊
man the way you handle that level of that spiciness is MENTAL. Hats off!
you so brave Max 👍, even some locals don’t dare to eat too spicy 🤭
Respect to u dude. to know our history of country big tumbs for you !!!
These hour long videos go by way too fast. Max is such an entertainer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
U will not get max on ur bed for dinner 😂
@@rkdrkd8274 wasn't asking for it
watching these videos makes it feel like you're on a date with him
You're the best western youtuber I ever watched that also went the effort of knowing what it's like to be locals while also still keeping your cool despite some of the local still try to scam you.
You are great MAX, usually outsiders don't like very spicy food😊
well, while the whole world thought chocolate and cheese wouldn't get along so well together, indonesia is the very first country who dare to put both of it combined on a dessert.. if japan is so advance in tech, indonesia definitely the most advanced in culinary, they the only country who use friend shallots as a topping in so many savory food's, the first country to ever use animal stomach to fermented a bean for coffe... 😂
Your videos are excellent. The way you interact with locals is amazing. I've been binge watching your videos lately
Biasanya kalau orang bule makan itu bersih karena menghargai yg membuat ...salut bgt
I swear you are a caring person and whether you want your hair long or short you still look handsome
One Tip ≠ One Hug 😭 Bro got rejected. The girl who was there before at the counter was so ♥️
After watching countless foreign youtubers travel around Indonesia, I have to say, you are the one that eats, and acts like a local the most! Feels like your Bule status is slowly fading Max wkwk
9:40 An American who knows world history besides his own country. True Chad!😂💯👌
bopet mini is actually a legendary place for padang food in Indonesia. but unfortunately like the name "mini" it's too small and too packed for enjoying good rendang, i go to there once in the lunch hour and i need to wait one hour just to sit down and eat
Saya suka kamu bro menerima negara ini dengan santai dan baik hati.. 🤩🤩🤩
WOW YOU ARE SHARPENING YOUR KINDNESS FASTER THERE 😊...RESPECT BRO
ngl i love how u try to speak bahasa , it's so amazing big respect dude !
You're the best food vlogger. I always watch you when I eat my lunch or a late night snack. Also, you should invest in some business cards to hand out to those that want to watch your channel. Keep up the wonderful work!
Max, kamu makannya banyak banget! (deliberately saying this in Indo to help you hone your Bahasa Indonesia skill 😁) New subscriber here, really enjoy watching your videos!
U did very good homework to memorize Indonesian history. I never thought the Dutch & Japanese were once The invaders.😮
Max u got really much respect from indonesia people bcz your one of strongest foreigner that came to indo and eat spicy food and finish it
I love everything about your vlog, ur spontaneous style and ur review on each cuisine is so detailed, maybe u can try to give the food some kind of rating to make it more interesting!
24:48 What’s great about this dish is that after you finish it, it makes people contemplate their life choices.
Saya sangat suka dengan cara anda yang sangat menghargai orang
Mantap 👍👍
This is the first time I found out that foreigners can eat spicy food and like cassava leaves. Even I, a local resident, don't like cassava leaves and can't stand eating noodles with a spiciness level beyond normal. Stay health Max 🙌
Don't forget to visit the city of Bandung, West Java 🇮🇩. . .Salam dari Pangandaran 🇮🇩
I love bandung, such a sweet country! Love from cimahi
Man, u were always finished your plate soo well. Respect
1:01 When an establishment uses a name like “bopet” it means that it’s a Minangkabau / Padang-style place. Even more telling if the restaurant’s logo is in the shape of their maternal house with that iconic pointed roof shape.
14:35 He really shouldn’t be doing this, 100 is just too much. This is why even locals like me prefer to use ride-hailing apps. We do feel sorry for these drivers, but they are not really giving people any reason to choose them over the apps. And the way he just took 100 without acknowledging the generosity on the passenger’s side just rubbed me the wrong way.
22:29 I’m Indonesian but I don’t understand the point of eating that ridiculous amount of chili peppers with instant noodles. You want spices to improve the flavor of a dish, not overpowering to the point of ruining it.
48:02 I actually like La Pattiserie so I don’t know how to feel about this 😂
Terimakasih sudah promosi kan makanan indonesia 🇮🇩🙏
Very happy because you eat till the plate empty/clean.. I hope you enjoy your time in indonesia🙏
You got my respect, Max. I'm an Indonesian and I can only stand 2 chilis.
Way too go Max, cereal is a great meal anytime, love it.
jsut found this video and I think how considerate you are in others people countries, you deserve a follow
Dude just says hello to anyone, randomly. Its strange in Asia but funny in a sweet way :)

I love how you're so generous even though you don't have to.
Okay. Surprisingly enough you didn't cry and seemed to beat many Indonesians in eating spicy food.
I myself would not survive eating Indomie Abang Adek with 100 chilies.
Indonesian in Arkansas here
Saw the t-shirt you wore
Woo pig sooie
Enjoy your videos
Thanks for sharing
Harus bisa nawar harga aja max, soalnya harga untuk warga lokal dan turis asing berbeda. Untuk warga asing selalu di mahalkan.
Tapi kayanya normal saja harganya
I think u r a good guy I can see when u meet Indonesian people n u never forget to say terima kasih n sampai jumpa...it is very good to do it in Indonesia the important thing is respect wherever u r thanks to inform a bit of Indonesia❤❤

I used to watch your indian series where you speak and understand Hindi very well. After long time UA-cam suggested this video to me and here you speak indonasian very fluently . And here I am living in Maharashtra I can't even speak in Marathi with proper slang although I understood very well.
How do you learn and adapt so quickly??
As an Indonesian , I salut you Max for knowing a little bit of the history of the Indonesian Independence .
Your interaction with the locals and trying to speak the language as much as you can with such politeness and reference for the culture . You are simply amazing ! Your vlog is #1
Much success Max .

Like HOW COME YOU EAT ALL NASI PADANG, ROTI BAKAR, MARTABAK, SOP KAKI, BUT STILL FIT AS HELL😂😂😂😂😂
BUT HOPEFULLY YOU ALWAYS COME BACK TO INDONESIA AND ENJOY THE FOOD.
YOU’RE EFFORT TO ORDER ALL FROM LOCAL AND ALWAYS TRY TO GIVE TIPS TO PEOPLE WHO NEEDS IT, I SALUTE 🫡

The spiciest noddles in jakarta is “Me Gacoan”.. the famous one…you can choose level 1 until 8
LOL. Nothing compare to mie abang adek mampus.
I did pedas mampus and had something close to a psychedelic buzz. You were functioning pretty well even if you didn't eat all the chillies. Respect.
I recommend you to go to Yogyakarta bro, there you can find lots of delicious and cheap traditional food.
Will do! I’ve been before too
i GO TO BOPET MINI WITH MY DAD LITERALLY EVERY SUNDAY after our morning runs FOR 19 years. ironic with all the calories. but ITS A HIDDEN GEM. LOCAL FAV. I live in California now and I miss every dish. So awsome seeing my family fav on a youtube screen like this. Despite the crowd, they deserve more hype
Yoo Max uploaded let’s gooo!! I love when you try out new restaurants bro it’s the main reason why I watch your videos over other travel vlogs! You have the perfect combination of exploring new places and trying new cuisines, keep up the videos brother can’t wait to see your next adventure 🙏🏽 (P.S. how has no one came up with the whole cereal & ice cream idea before THATS genius and that spot looked so cool lol) Take care and be safe out there much love from Texas ❤️
Kalau mau ayam geprek bilang not spicy atau jangan bumbunya jangan dikasih cabe. Tapi misalnya mau juga makan pedas bilang cabenya 1 atau 2 saja.
As an American man travelling around an independent Indonesia, you should feel proud Max, as it was the actions and decisions of your forbears that ultimately laid the foundation for Indonesia to claim their independence, I won't lie and say that world war 2 didn't play a huge part, because ultimately it did. But America taking the stance of pulling the plug on reparatory aide if the Dutch didn't hand over the reigns was consequently the proverbial straw that broke the camels back. The Dutch couldn't afford to lose that aide, nor could they afford to keep a big enough force in Indonesia as per the effects of world war 2 having to recall much of their force to help with their rebuilding efforts. Just goes to show how effective diplomacy can be and how archaic and unnecessary war has become.
I love that you describe them all, feels like i am also experiencing it. Awesome 😊
WOW..this the first time i saw a foreigner (bule) eat extremely spicy indonesian noodle! respect
Welcome to jakarta, Indonesia. I like you making video in Indonesia. Thank you for visiting my country. Pls come back to Indonesia again soon.
Respect for you bro max. I like your attitude.
Menonton vidio ini sampai selesai dan tanpa rasa bosan. Mantap!🎉👍👍🇮🇩
