4:42 that red flashing triangle is super useful (far right edge of screen). It appears randomly at times, but it helps in knowing the direction of an enemy, especially a flanker. Helps in plane battles, too. Most people don't notice it because it's very brief and small, though.

It's affects by stuff like binoculars, scouting-equipped vehicles, cover and what mode you're in. There's also Awareness for air mode players which increases the spread of the spotting cone. It's very handy if you catch it!
I only started the game in 2022, but I got blessed during last year’s winter extreme event. I opened up ten of the event SL crates and got this beast on the fifth one.

The new type 99, at 7.0 in japans tree. Gets a 14kg HE shell, with a 7.5 second reload. And freaking proxy rounds for easily taking out airplanes. That thing is absolutely brugsl
I suck with proxy rounds. I have never landed a single blow using the itallian 2s1 even on the practice range 😅 I have literally never landed 1 so im actually staring to think it's bugged or something
@@MRMC99999 I've only landed a few proxy rounds. I just don't give enough lead I think. It'd be easier to test in the practice range if we had a super fast reload option, because waiting 30sec or restarting takes too long to practice with proxies (and you can't just leave the vehicle since the plane doesn't reset iirc). It's definitely a hard skill to master

Grea 0:00 great video as always. Just want to point out one thing, the Paladin (M109 series) is NOT a tank it is a Self-Propelled Howitzer (SPH). As such, it’s armor sucks because it is Artillery and not a Tank. It is used for Fire Support ( you know the artillery barrage ) rarely ever gets involved in Direct Fire engagements. Definitely does not maneuver alongside tanks. Gaijin kind of played loosely-goosey adding all of these in the game
The JaPz.K A2 of the german tree. Is at 8.7, has basically no armor and no stabilizer, though it has apfsds, laserrangefinder, thermal sight and a 4 sec auto loader.
Since we're at no longer available 6.7 US premiums: I recommend trying the M26E1 if you have time. It somehow works quite well even if it looks mediocre on paper: Long 90 with a slightly faster reload, 4x/8x scope, coax .50, and somehow better mobility than the original M26. The HVAP is actually pretty good as well, entirely capable of knocking out German box tanks with one hit from the front and the APHE takes care of everything else.
I grided this event when T30 got added, best event in WT imo i grinded out almost whole US ground tree with this thing. I rember when before the nerf to it APHE it could lol pen front plate of T54 at 500+ meters fun times
honestly my most played tank is the m4a1 with the 75 and if you want to play 3.3 you will dominate i feel it's way better then the panzer 4 f2 because of the low speed stabilizer so i recommend it thank you for the video tho have a nice monday.
Hey OddBawz, I think it'd be cool if you did a low-tier run through of the nations -- so 2.0~3.0 line ups for each nation, giving people tips on how to improve gameplay, and how to utilize their low-tier advantages.
Oddbawz it has been 2 years since you have taken out the super hellcat and since then it has had 2 major buffs one being it turned into a light tank and second being it's speed buff. I have 4,555 kills in it and roughly 12 nukes. When played sneakily it is an absolute menace because of m82. Would love to see you do another video on it.
Just FYI, with 61mm of pen on those HE rounds, you can easily kill a Maus. Hit low on the 128mm side of the turret face and it'll detonate downward into the top of the tank, which has only 50mm of armor. Can't do it anymore with the KV-2, but the T30 should be easily capable.
Odd you should do another challenge like from down tier all the way up to top tier or starting from teir 1 and when you get kill you use the tank you have been killed by and try to get as high of a tier
I second the whole ordeal with the AMX-50 Surbaissé, I've always enjoyed that tank, alongside the rest of the French 7.7 lineup. One of my personal favorites :D
Remember when they added the first actual artillery vehicle in the game like Type 75 SPH and everyone laugh at it for being a meme/ derp machine ? Well, now everyone is using the SPH after realizing how OP the HE shells fired from howitzer guns really are.
Hey Odd for HE I recommend u shooting the cheeks or the barrel closest to the cheeks on Tigers sometimes the cupola works too but since it's such a small area to hit I wouldn't do that also for TDs a good shot to the underbelly of the TD should be enough to kill it, I do that with 2S3M and the majority of other artillery pieces that I have as for Jagdtiger it follows the same rule as the Tigers but closest point between the super structure and the roof of the hull and the over-pressure should do the rest
The reload on this needs to be adjusted. Why does it take 30sec to take a round from stage 1 to the breach but only 9ish seconds to take a round from stage 2 to stage 1?
I sold one of these as a coupon a couple months back for over a hundred GJN, and got another coupon drop from this year's winter chest, which I might just try for myself now, since I really enjoy dropping *huge loads* on ususpecting people
considering its tied in with having Keen Vision leveled up no, its one of the last things people ever even level up on their crew because for the most part it really isnt that helpful with how dull/toned down in colors most things are in the game, I didnt even notice it when it was called out and had to rewatch about 4 or 5 times to see it

I don't play but enjoy the videos. his ability to see a small blob of pixels and id and categorize the threat in a fraction of a second. Then take a snapshot or hold if he wants better pray just amazes me. " Oh I missed, that's just bad luck" no, no that implies you need good luck to hit, you got skill, then other guy could say it was luck you missed. I think if they put a turtle with a handgun and a grenade to its back in the game you would get a kill with it

The projectile weighs 43 kg/95 pounds, trying to wrestle something like that around in the confines of a tank turret isn't going to be easy. And then you still have to load the powder charge.

30 seconds is pretty generous, I'd suspect realistically it'd actually take minutes. To give you an example early T-34-76s took 30-40 seconds to reload in reality due to the cramped space and poor ammunition placement, whilst in-game they reload in under 9 seconds. Obviously this is done for gameplay purposes otherwise it wouldn't be very fun, see the Sturmtiger.
Sup'! I always enjoy your videos, and this one was no different. As for vehicle suggestions, I'd recommend you give the AMX-30 Super and the 9.3 French lineup a few rounds. Perhaps try explaining how you play light vehicles on a particular map as you go, and why you do/don't enjoy higher tier/more mobile vehicles.
I'm glad I didn't sell the T30. Now it's my favourite tank, I love it, and it's stupid as well, but since the plague of artillery, this isn't as good as it was before.
Did you ever make a video with the French AMX-40? I know that you're not too fond of top tiers, but it's an interesting vehicle with impressive mobility, a good gun and decent optics. If you're not too tempted, the AMX-13 or a chinese tank could be fun. The Type 69-IIa is a nice little tank that is essentially a T-55A with a laser rangefinder, but no dart at 8.3. The AMX-13 might be my second favorite light tank in the game. It looks great, has a surprisingly good gun on a 4 sec reload and the tank is speedy and agile. The suspension is the only I have a problem with.
I managed to pick that beast of a tank up before the market on it crashed and I’m so happy I did, I love the American heavy tanks and this thing is just a blast to deck tanks with :)
1 tank that I reccomend is the Obj 268 the 7.0 bunker buster with the AA gun on top I have my share of fun with it and hell I have been on your server and most of the time I'm playing that with other people at 7.0 XD bounce rounds on same tier .3 and you are 90% immortal on downtiers!
ah I missed out on the T30 the Festive Quest had to take care of my very ill family member and their health is more important but its a bummer but what can you do. That first shot on the VK the explosion from just missing was HUGE 🤯
We are still missing a video on the bulliest of the bullies, the IS-4. Also you grinded out the AMX-40 in your AMX-30 video and never got a video on the 40 ;) If you can get your hands on an AMX-13 SS.11 it is also very fun since it bullies around the bullies. They might think they are in a downtier, but T95s, Jagtigers, Mauses, etc get their smiles turned upside down when they see an ATGM comming at them from 6.7. Also great fur bullying IS-3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, and 7s.
I love how they nerfed this thing immediately after it came out cus it could overmatch one of their best selling premium tanks the IS-6. fucking pathetic.

If you ever face another Maus with a HE derpcannon, you can overpressure the thing by hitting the weird little commander vision cones on the top of the turret :D
With the M107 HE the T30 and M109s have you can kill a maus by hitting the side of the turret over the hull. It detonates the ammo and it's easy to do.
I've seen you kill planes with tanks, be if vt fuse, HE, or whatever, I have never seen you kill a plane with a smoke shell from a tank. So I challenge you to kill a plane with a smoke shell
I swear the only reason the Ar-234 is at such a low BR is because of how bad the pilots are. I have shot down so many of them with roof MGs, and low BR SPAA and Aircraft like P-40s that it's actually kind of sad.

I love huge gunned heavy tanks. I recommend you give the T-10M a spin: I think that even though its 8.3, it is still quite a diamond.
That thing is stupidly good. The stabilized HE shell with a good reload for such a large round.
it has the fastest APDS shell in the game too.. 1620m/s i think... way faster than even conqueror, though its lighter

I would love to see some BC 25 T action since it has a 90 mm 4 sec autoloader as a scout. It used to have a 6.7 sec reload so it got quite the buff.
It also got pushed into 7.7, wich is a serious nerf. 8.3/8.7 uptiers way more often and the 90 struggle hard against those

They should add the T-30E1 into the TT, it fitted with assisted loader. Maybe it would reduce the reload at least by 5-10 seconds.
I was so happy when i got this from the SL crates, aside from the sad reload it's so much fun

Triangle is when you've pumped a lot of points in your spotting with your crew.

Try out the IS-4M or the AMX-50 Surbaisse. You feel unstoppable in both, and the IS-4M is still strong but not played very often anymore
It's a lot of fun until you meet one of the many tanks with heat to just go through your armour like butter

If you pen any part of the tank, it's a kill. 640g TNT is the highest yield of any APCBC or APHE shell.

If you're not too tempted, the AMX-13 or a chinese tank could be fun. The Type 69-IIa is a nice little tank that is essentially a T-55A with a laser rangefinder, but no dart at 8.3. The AMX-13 might be my second favorite light tank in the game. It looks great, has a surprisingly good gun on a 4 sec reload and the tank is speedy and agile. The suspension is the only I have a problem with.

The factory like most maps is purely a spawn camp battle.. whoever gets the team trapped in spawn wins. I kinda hate how it all works out that way
1 tank that I reccomend is the Obj 268 the 7.0 bunker buster with the AA gun on top I have my share of fun with it and hell I have been on your server and most of the time I'm playing that with other people at 7.0 XD bounce rounds on same tier .3 and you are 90% immortal on downtiers!
you should play the tiger 2 10.5cm next big gun and rangefinder so fun to get long-distance kills with it

ah I missed out on the T30 the Festive Quest had to take care of my very ill family member and their health is more important but its a bummer but what can you do. That first shot on the VK the explosion from just missing was HUGE 🤯
Vickers mk 11 is a fun tank with a bad reverse gear so a bit of a challenge
Fun fact: the M107 HE shell can one shot a maus from the turret cheek where the 75mm gun is

We are still missing a video on the bulliest of the bullies, the IS-4. Also you grinded out the AMX-40 in your AMX-30 video and never got a video on the 40 ;)
If you can get your hands on an AMX-13 SS.11 it is also very fun since it bullies around the bullies. They might think they are in a downtier, but T95s, Jagtigers, Mauses, etc get their smiles turned upside down when they see an ATGM comming at them from 6.7. Also great fur bullying IS-3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, and 7s.

How about the Jpz 4-5 with the hesh shells? With the down tier it can be a quite fun tank to play. The hesh is a little tricky to kill with tho.

If you ever face another Maus with a HE derpcannon, you can overpressure the thing by hitting the weird little commander vision cones on the top of the turret :D
With the M107 HE the T30 and M109s have you can kill a maus by hitting the side of the turret over the hull. It detonates the ammo and it's easy to do.
I've seen you kill planes with tanks, be if vt fuse, HE, or whatever, I have never seen you kill a plane with a smoke shell from a tank.
So I challenge you to kill a plane with a smoke shell

I swear the only reason the Ar-234 is at such a low BR is because of how bad the pilots are. I have shot down so many of them with roof MGs, and low BR SPAA and Aircraft like P-40s that it's actually kind of sad.
