IN NO WAY IS THIS A HIT PIECE ON THE OP OF THIS GUY ON REDDIT! We're just fooling around and thought it would be a fun excuse to bring out the Jagdtiger.
The Jagdtiger in War Thunder is a German Super Heavy Tank Destroyer at 6.7! This thing is colossal in terms of size and weight and with its 128mm cannon it not only can take a hit but it can hit back just as hard too.
The only problem with a case mate tank like this is its speed. It's really REALLY slow and when you're on a losing team it's really difficult to carry a match. On specific maps it can be really fun but in this video, Spookston and myself decided to go full aggressive and just try and enjoy it.
Not my favourite, but also not terrible.

Years ago, I remember reading an account from near the end of WW2, that recounted a battle where two or three Jagdtigers took part. In that account, it was noted that the vehicles performed very well in the task of dealing with enemy tanks, but were severely limited in their capabilities about escaping with the battle turned against them. The Jagdtiger crews were typically trained to always keep their heaviest armor to the enemy, thus front toward enemy tanks. However during this engagement, one vehicle turned to run, and was punched right through the side, while the other two were pretty easily flanked and taken out. It was noted that, looking at the German doctrine for using them, that even the German commanders recognized the Jagdtiger's limitations, and felt that where possible they should try to operate at extreme ranges to deal with enemy vehicles from an ambush position. However if such wasn't possible, due to the limitations of the battle, or where it was taking place, then the Jagdtiger should be kept in reserve and out of combat. To put it simply they're not for close combat. Sadly, with War Thunder, the extreme range engagements that they were designed for, isn't possible.

I, personally, suck at Warthunder, and that's why I quit this game but I do enjoy watching videos of people who are skilled and I like the easy going kind of playstyle OddBawz is showing. I don't mind Reddit.
