      The real reason everyone should watch this channel. I don't even own a dog, I try to do all these tricks on my friend's dogs

    • @thelastrebelshow1627
      @thelastrebelshow1627 3 роки тому

      Everyone on this channel seems like total rookie with dogs, walking a dog on leash forms a bond between you and your dog andis the safe way to go. You should only have your dog off leash when training in a fenced off area or property with nobody around unless the dog knows them. I’ve had dogs all my life and they literally want to be on leash and I have Belgian Malinois so don’t tell me their wimpy or something stupid like that.

The book ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfKlzfzw0sMZ_RgZNzMeOPu6d4b5i5XWl has his training methods from both the show and new tricks i had not heard until i got the book. Simple dog psychology and pointers to make the methods stick. Great insight to the thinking of dogs. There is so much more we know now about our dogs. Fear in training no longer apply. I cannot say enough about this book and it's author.

Between these videos and the Brain Training program ( goodboy°.°today ) ( remove °) he has finally been acting much more like a good doggo. Real test comes in a month... during my mother's birthday party.

    I'm late to the video but I just wanted to say I really enjoyed the amount of content in this video, especially the failures. I think seeing your failures is the most important part of your videos and I wish we saw more of them--knowing what you're "supposed" to do or have happen is easy. But failures and miscommunication happen every single training session and it's so valuable to see examples of you working through them and moving on with the training or taking a step back/breaking it down.

    Yes! What a good girl. :) She did fantastic with the lesson. I used to have a crazy long leash for my first dog. We lived on 100 acres and used the long leash to work like this, and then let him run around with it attached for a while, because he'd be easy to grab if needed.

    I have been devouring your videos as we are bringing home a puppy next month. 😁
    Thanks so much for the instruction! Question: what length long lead do you prefer? I notice they come in 30, 50, and 100ft lengths.
    Thanks again!

    Hey Zak, love the videos. Could you do a video on nutrition/food? I'm really struggling right now deciding what to feed my dog. She's currently on Hills prescription (joint care) but have come to be made aware that many of those vets foods are not actually that much different from their regular counterpart. I've also been made aware that vets have limited info on nutrition/food and had an afterthought of one time asking my vet how much should I feed her and the response was follow the guide on the bag.......didn't think twice about it at the time but now I'm clear it's because he really didn't know.
