I think you neglected to tell us what ring gives you Firestorm as a 7th level spell! I am playing this build, and so far (early chapter 3) haven't found it being sold by any vendors! Build has worked remarkably well for me so far! Loving it, and it ties so well to the main story!
@@nssSmooge Fantastically! It started a bit weird, with being a melee attacker with lagging BAB, but in Act 3, my spells started catching up so I became more of a Blaster (especially good with Sword of heaven), in Act 4 I got the Greater Enduring Spells so my buffs were permanent and I was able to successfully wade into melee to great effect, and now in Act 5 I can cast spells as Quickened actions and then Melee. I suspect, once I reach Level 20 (currently at 18), it'll have another power spike with Pounce, so I will be the best melee and caster of the party.
It seems that the firestorm may not overwrite? I don't know for certain but I do know that daeran can get mass heal twice, once from his mystery and once from taking the spell.
Just a note to say thank you for the google doc link too. More youtubers need to do this! Will watch the vid anyways because I like your explanations, but a written reference is so helpful when playing. Thanks!
One suggestion. Take Oracle - Seeker instead of Oracle and drop Skill At Arms revelation. You don't need Martial Weapon Training or Heavy Armor Proficiency feats at the start of the game as Seelah will be doing most of the tanking. Weapon Mastery lets you take Greatsword Weapon Focus right away. You'll get medium armor proficiency and shield proficiency by default. And if you Leader background you'll also be proficient with longswords. This way you'll get 3 extra seeker feats losing only one revelation (as we ignore Skill at Arms). But seeker feats already include spell penetration and greater spell penetration feats you take at later levels. So this will save you 2 feats on your build as well(1 can be heavy armor if you wish). For 3rd seeker feat you can get heigthened spell or even extend spell your choice. Or may be Spell Focus on Evocation for later flame damage.
Dude you're the best source for building characters and I really appreciate all the time and effort that goes into creating your characters builds so please keep up the awesome work and I promise to keep coming back for more and sharing your video's with as many people as I possibly can because you definitely deserve it. 🤟🤓👍
If anyone is wondering this build is an absolute blast. I'm doing a second angel playthrough just to do it again with the sword and board version (or for me, warhammer and board :D)
This is gonna be a great counter to my first playthrough!! I am a completely evil lich and I’m having fun but I will love being an angel the second time around
I don't know why I watch all of these. The game's super long. I'll never use them all I feel like I enjoy theorycrafting even more than the actual game. And there's really cool ideas in these videos.
Lmao. I'm pretty sure I spent more time watching Kingmaker videos and reading guides than playing the game. And I definitely spent more time on WotR videos than the game. I played for a few hours, reached the tavern, got bored, quit and deleted the game. And yet I still keep watching videos.
You blow up my mind with this video.I am big fun of yours.I will go through the game with this build, and post you some feedback, though it may take some time due to total life.Well done and said! Role-playing wise and fighting wise, this is what I definitely want to play for my first playthrough. You are awesome Bolsy !!!
I did a variant of this build with some small changes. I ended up going kitsune with 14,14,13,10,10,18. One in constitution and rest in charisma combined with mythic shapeshifter feat ends up with me having 18 for all my physical stats and 22 for charisma. I've ended up sticking with medium armor as there are some pretty decent medium armors and there are only two in my party that wear medium armor. That also allows me to fully capture my dex bonus. I am wearing a belt that gives +6 str and a -2 will debuff to nearby enemies so I have decent attacking abilities, but I do consider myself primarily a caster on the harder fights since I've been really lazy about building my companions well. And the merged oracle/angel spell book is amazing. I love the buffs. Basically I provide most of the buffs to the party. Basically, I'll use: Fortress of the Faithful, Ward against weakness (communal), sword of heaven, winds of vengeance, frightful aspect, iron skin (supernatural from battle mystery), and death ward. All 24 hours. Then I have Nenio cast greater heroism on the melee and animal growth on the pets. All 24 hours. It's just beautiful. I've got one more feat. I was thinking of getting the selective metamagic and doing a blade barrier which would last for 24 hours on me to. I only have two melee people, but I did pop Seelah over for three levels of the Divine Hunter (hunter) so she could get a boar. That class adds some nice things. Ability to boost one stat that grows with level, divine or infernal animal, and a smite ability. Went bulwark and that boar is a beefy beast. And Seelah will still get to level 17 paladin for that aura. I've been having a lot of fun on this build. Thanks for the build. It's been a fun first playthrough.
If you swap out the great sword for a reach weapon you can start booping targets from behind a tank. Keeps you from being within melee range most of the time when casting spells.
I think he advocates using enlarge person all the time, which should let you use greatsword as a reach weapon if I'm not mistaken. But I'm going to use a reach weapon just to increase that threat range even more when enlarged and proc a ton of cleave attacks. At least in theory.
@@uranderson I can absolutely confirm that that is exactly what happens. I have two tanks (divine guardians), 3 melee with reach weapons (main character Oracle, a reach rogue and a Warrior of the Holy Light Paladin) and a ranger plugging targets with a bow. Everything in our path is getting absolutely shredded.
Wonder if there would be any advantage to doing something similar with the Purifier archetype since you are already going Aasimar? You lose three revelations and the bonus cure/inflict spells, but you can at least skip Skill at Arms revelation since you get Heavy Armor proficiency (later) from the archetype, and you can use a background (Noble Leader) for the Greatsword proficiency. You gain the mentioned heavy armor proficiency, armor training (-4 levels from fighter; maybe would want some more DEX to take advantage?), the ability to channel energy against evil outsiders and an ability that let's you dispel any curse, enchantment or emotion effect by full-round action touch for CHA bonus times per day in exchange for becoming sickened. However, you could take the Plagued Curse and be immune to sickened.
I didn't have that background to play with on beta, but I still think base Oracle is better. Your revelation progression really suffers and the battle Revelations are really good. The armor training is nice bus the other abilities are easily made up for with spells. It's a cool RP choice though. It definitely fits the story I had in mind for this character, but you just lose so much from those mid game revelations.
Ran four of your builds in beta, and loved them. Great job, and you just seem so damn personable! Funny that I chose to build a near-replica of this Angel Oracle for my first full release run. As I watched this video of yours this afternoon, I was surprised that the only noticeable difference was my choice of Scythe for Wide Sweep.
what did you change to make that the core of the build, just choose scythe for weapon focus? is it easy to respec for this if I started with Greatswords?
@@dantilem845 Sorry for the late reply. Choosing Farmer which gives free Scythe proficiency, is the only significant change. Some minor differences in Mythic, if I remember. All of Bolshy's builds I have tried are solid though, so...
Thank you BolshyPlays for this video on Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - The Purging Flame Build and Mythic Path Guide, who is a holy warrior that takes uses the angel mythic path to full advantage. I will use this every day of my life.
To really make this build stand out, switch to human to pick up an extra feat and take Metamagic Selective in your regular feat selection. Then in the mythic path dont take weapon focus mythic. Instead take Extend Spell Metamagic. Then drop the second mystery and the beneficial curse and take the favored metamagic for each of those instead. this will let your round per level buff go for 24 hours.
Hi Bolshy, I love the videos I've been having fun with the Lichborne Templar and I'm currently running the Sword and Board version of this build. However I've noticed through creation and levelling that you've left out a couple stats increases and have duplicate abilities so the whole thing is a little unclear and could perhaps do with a standalone video to straighten things out. I'm also highly intrigued with creating my own builds and I reckon it'd be an interesting series of videos to have you explain in detail the finer points and benefits of each class and which you might want to combine to create certain builds, similar to what you did with the Lichborne Templar build but much more expansive.
"Pranked" as a Oracle Curse sadly seems to be bugged. I started this build with "pranked" (because of Mirror Image and Glitterdust at lvl 5) but i'm level 6 now and i don't get those spells. The first spell of the curse got unlocked fine (Faery Fire).
Great build! It isn't easy to develop a build in a class in this game with both martial and arcane characteristics fully developed at level 20 in this game -Bravo Bolshy!
I went into my first angel run blind. Made a Angelkin with the Warrior of Holy Light Paladin class( which throws out the paladin's meh spell list for party buffs) , spec'd in for two weapon fighting sword and board... And got confronted with the simple fact that I didn't have enough charisma for even half my Angel spells until late game :/ To cover my weak points I ended up grabbing Extend Spell and using the Enduring Spell Mythic options to cover my party in the glory of 24 hour buffs
lol You really irk me sometimes, I'm all the way up to level 6 with your 2Hand Vital Strike build and again you have me ready to stop and start over. Every time you come out with a new build it's like an unexpected birthday gift that I have to play with. No discipline at all on my part lol but it's fun, besides defending the heart and attacking the gray garrison is always great.
Haha I'm in the same spot! I thought I knew what I wanted to play two weeks ago and now I can't decide. Goes to show just how good the Pathfinder system is for build junkies like us.
@@bolshyplays1733 lol It is, you guys get very creative with your builds. I like your builds better cause you also provide a written version of it that save bums like me a lot of time. I thought I was going to go with the Freebooter build but I committed to the Vital Striker lol. Then here come the Purging Flame lol, I just threw my hands up
I loved the build! Just wondering if there was a way to get 9th level spell slots though. You talked about some of the 9th level spells and their uses, so I must be missing something!
Sure you get 9th level spells around level 14-15 with the spell book merge. You need to have 19 charisma to cast them. If you don't have 19 charisma you can buy a +4 headband from the one eyed devil guy outside the tavern and equip it before resting.
Ha ha, at this point in the video where I'm commenting (5:45) it's like a 1:1 match to what I did (except I biased slightly more towards casting and not melee) but otherwise very similar. Interested to see where you go with it later tho, as they may diverge later on
Finally a build guide picks Archon's Aura. Love that spell. Quick question though. As a Paladin do I get to merge the Angel spellbook or do I need to be a Cleric or Oracle to do that?
Great guide ! Never tried firestorm before, looks awesome ! I wonder if we could convert its damage to lightning and make that lightning charging armor work ( gives your ally infinite quickened lightning only casts)
Oooh nice, any thoughts on a full spellcaster Lich build? Having a hard time picking between sorc, wiz, and arcanist and all the subclasses. I'm thinking exploiter wizard, arcane bloodline sorc, and maybe brown fur transmuter are prolly some of the best choices?
For a full spellcasting lich build I would go arcane sorc and specialize in necromancy/evocation. You can pump your DCs really high. If you can take second bloodline as a sage sorcerer I would go with that archetype because intelligence is a better stat imo.
A Dirge Bard with enchantment/necromancy focus is a really interesting idea and story-wise very fitting, but he was asking for a full-caster with a spell book merge and bards can't do that. It's an awesome idea for a lich playthrough in its own right though!
I chose Stigmatized Witch with the Kindred Half-Elf with bonus to charisma. The Lich does turn Char into health points at some point so that is helpful. This character may be less than optimal for the weird witch spell list. I'm not sure if I want to do something like eldritch knight/arcane trickster or both. The character is set up to use reach weapons/ cornugan eventually. I'm wondering why you consider Int the better stat (knowledge skills?). It clearly isn't for potential dips. The necro idea certainly makes great sense as I've never had a character focus on those and what better than a lich to do so?
great builds really interested in this one and meat shield or demon knight changed for death knight for MC. I am not super informed on pathfinder but is oracle the preferred holy spell class and what use is the war priest i like the idea of them but just wonder if u end up sacrifice to much i don't really see any builds for them. Also is the retrain in the game able to do companion cause for Seelah which of these builds do you prefer the one you made or this one without the angel path both seem interesting but the Seelah build seems to lose out on those awesome revelations for just the two levels of paladin maybe I am wrong like I said not to informed on Pathfinder.
With the release I think you could check some old builds to see if they still work/can be improved (looking at you vital strike). Also amazing content, saw most of your videos in the last couple weeks.
what a OP bulid thx ... 20 lvl very strong so hard to mix it with something ..like monk 1 lvl and something with magic armor so u can be tank too, i will pick penetrations instead of cleaves early and maybe focus on evocation spells, some benefits from sorceres bloodline u see there to improve this bulid more? or dex tank version?, anyway after this video im sure i will play around this bulid :D
You give up 2 very powerful capstone abilities and bestow grace of the champion can provide the same effect. It might be worth it leveling up but I would respec at level 20.
A few questions is Lame important to the build? I don't like the slower movement for melee characters and since we are in melee anyway Wolfscarred face makes sense. Also do you think there is any merit to a 2 level dip in paladin since they get charged to saving throws, smite, and can give us martial access without taking Skill at Arms?
Nope lame was totally an rp/story choice. I would highly recommend against a pally dip. You can get Cha to saves with a seventh level spell and the level 20 oracle final revelations are super good and we get 2 of them.
@@bolshyplays1733 I went with wolf scarred face, my character even with a reach weapon, walks into melee to bite. He bites more then swings with his wep so far in the maze, can I turn the bite off or is it a downside to wolfscarred
Amazing builds you have! They have totally changed my gameplay for the better! Any chance this could be adapted for a dual wield strength build (not a shield but 2 large str weapons), or would that take too many extra feats to pull off?
You could make it work, I think I even have a shield bash build attached to this spreadsheet, just drop the shield stuff. But without 5 levels of fighter you are going to take bigger penalties for dual wielding two larger weapons.
Making a martial gish character with no shield, no dex and using cleave on top of that to even further lower your AC, and the lower HD of Oracle pretty much means this is unplayable on early levels on core difficulty and above or probably any but the very easiest difficulty if youre playing with Last Azlanti turned on. It's just too easy for enemies to destroy you on any of the higher difficulties.
This build is a great tank/caster hybrid. But it will miss very often on any monster with high AC on Core difficulty (biggest pain in this game). If you want dd/tank build take 20 lvls of mutation warrior. You will get full spell book from Angel with insane support spells and also you will have great Attack and decent AC (to kill enemies faster than they kill you). And with support of Nenio's Mind fog spell this build also can use Wrath of Righteous successfully. It's main issue that it won't have 24h 1/round buffs, but with quicken spells you can use them situationally and you can get 24h buffs only when sum of character class level and mythic level get to 25 (almost end of the game).
I really want to make a story-friendly build for ember focusing on healing and pacification, I just have a very limited amount of time for gaming/content right now. I will post something in the next few days though.
Hey dude, thanks for making the content :) I'm thinking of taking this build to core, just wondering how you feel about running it in Heavy Armour? I'm thinking about taking the S&B style and slamming Arcane Armour training on there >.> Not sure how I would fit it, but a Mythril Full Plate should be viable, gives us lots of AC and with the other buffs we could easily reach 50AC. Would be a decent frontliner.
You don't need any feats, once you take skill at arms revelation you can cast in heavy armor with no failure. Oracle is a divine caster and they don't have arcane spell failure.
Hi Wanted to say I love your builds :) Quick question, I watched a earlier video on all the features of angel Mythic, and I feel your "picking" a lot of spells the the Angel mythic path gets already? also, again correct me if im wrong, you pick Combat healer at some point, but the angel Mythic path has that Speed of light making all spells quicken, so isnt combat healer wasted?
Also as far as combat healer, you don't get speed of light until the end of the game so it helps to have an instant heal for the majority of your playthrough 👍
Can i use this build as base for a variation of a more focused caster? I reaaaaaly hates the melee classes and rather been a kind of wizard or something less brawl.
What companion suit most in this build ? im gonna play cavalier since it's a new class, but this uild also very good to be cast aside, so any1 can give me an advice ?
What do you think of making a two weapon fighter in this build? Dont we get the 2d6 per hit as Holy damage? We could be doubling hits. I saw your shield build but I dont see the point as it seems it doesnt stack to some of our buffs
First, I REALLY appreciate your guides. Both MC and companions, I'm coming to this game completely new and don't understand dnd and pathfinder systems, character creation was such a headache 🤣. I'm currently playing through with this build, but I have been searching all over for a summoning build, in my head I guess my fantasy is a summoner that works well with lich and undead minions and animate dead, if that build is even possible. Do you have any suggestions or have any plan on a summonerish type build in the future?
If you are completely new start with mutation warrior or deliverer slayer, summoners are terrible at early game and it takes a while for them to start feeling better.
@@darkcloud9053 yea I was told that on discord. Been trying to find a build guide for either of those but no luck yet. A bow deliverer slayer would be nice
@BolshyPlays Any chance you have a OP build for the Swarm path? I want to try swarm so hard but not sure what build, I am thinking of taking your Meat shield build? But not sure what is good
i play it similiar but more optimized for higher difficulty, so animimal mystery for pet and one Level in Monk (scaled fist), you get twice your charisma to your AC. Im also using staff for flurry of blows and dodge, crane style and wings.
Im confused maybe i skipped something but how or why do you get Bonuses to Fire spells? Like u don't even have to choose fireball its already in your spell list.
There are rings that add spells to your spell book for spontaneous casters. I'm using the red salamander to get fire spells. Yo can buy it from Vissaly Rathimus in act 2 in your camp
Can someone please tell me how he got access to lv 9 spells like winds of vengeance as early as lv 14 character. I was able to do it before, but now I cannot.
What equipment are you using? It looks like light or medium Chest Armor which wouldn't make full use of the Lame's armor weight immunity or maybe I don't understand how armor works.
You trade some revelations for a few bonus feats. It's probably the best archetype for a spellcasting-focused oracle. I prefer standard oracle for this build because this build focuses on the martial side of things for much of the game.
After trying celestial charger and this build, I really want to go paladin 2H reach weapon angel path. It seems to do pretty good on hard, but I am a little lost. Could I use this build as a base (same race, angelkin, etc) but go 20 levels in paladin. If so, would you recommend paladin or warrior of the light (pally subclass). Could I use these same feats, or would you recommend any different feats. Could I go this same stat spread as well?
I would put a little less in CHA for Paladin - probably put it in CON, and/or some in DEX (like 13 min to qualify for some good feats). Also you won't need improved or greater abundant casting (as paladins never get high level spells), or spell penetration (your casting level will not be high enough to justify using any offensive spells, so it would be pointless to get spell pen.) Paladins are full BAB class, so it may be worthwhile to pick up Vital Strike (and its improved versions) and the corresponding Mythic feat - this is very good for boss killing; it does mondo damage in a one hit. Get another party member to cast some spells that improve damage or other effects on hit, and then charge in and vital strike em, and hope you crit (because crit vital strike, especially mythic vital strike, is ABSURDLY powerful). Make sure you pick up Improved Critical for this reason! On that note, remember that Paladins do not have oracle mysteries or revelations, so the feats this build (in the video) got for "free" through the battle mystery (e.g. Weapon Focus, Greater Weapon Focus, and Improved Critical), you will need to pick up manually.
Sorry to bother ya, but I'm working on a similar build. Except there is one issue I'm having with Sun Form; I can't find where the ability to shoot rays of holy fire is after activating it, even though the description says you get the ability. Do you have any clue how this is supposed to be done?
Hmm great build, but I wonder why not make use of enduring spells and greater enduring spells by taking extend meta magic feat and make all spell buffs(including 6sec ones) to last 24 hours?
I probably should have addressed that in the video. I have considered using extend/favorite metamagic and CL>25 to get 24 hr buffs out of round/level spells but honestly that is just too much for me, at some point I want the spells and abilities I use to feel special and round/level spells are reserved for moments when you're character/party needs to muster their most powerful abilities to overcome an exceptional challenge. Having those buffs at all time just takes away those epic moments for me and turns them into another buff on a checklist to have up at all times. By all means use it if you enjoy it! It just isn't for me.
@@bolshyplays1733 lol the things we do for role playing, I remember I played Paladin/fighter built around shield bash, not a min max build, but very immersive
@@dantilem845 no, abundant casting(improved and greater) +24 hours hasted angel sword will make you a spell machine gun. And angel spell book got very powerful damaging spells that can do up to 300 dmg per single strike. You want as many of those as possible along with your buffs. The main reason to get mythic feat: favorite meta magic(extend in our case) is to reduce cost of extend meta magic to 0, so you could extend 9 or 10( didn’t get there yet) lvl spell buffs that usually run 6 sec per caster level and make them run for 24 hours, which makes you ...an in game god i’d say. That said to make those short buffs to run 24 hours you need 25 caster lvl(and extended spell ofc). Currently I’m lvl 15 with mythic rank 5, so my caster lvl is 20. For now I can extend buffs that last 1minute per caster lvl to 24 hours. Quite convenient and powerful but not invincible. True godmode comes once I get to 17 lvl and 8 mythic rank(or 18 lvl and 7mr). That said you want an easy mode, get 1 lvl of monk and run around in robes with big ass sword and 24 hours buffs, and buff your wisdom as high as possible for ac. I guarantee you gonna be very hard to take down
@@SoraJustAGuy I started up a playthrough... but my character gets knocked out EVERY encounter. does this get safer as you level? literally only lvl 2 so Im not shocked but Im also DEFINITELY not taking on the water elemental.
Would it not be even better to add a single level of Scaled Fist monk? While heavy armor is nice, mage armor will always be better especially if you get the additional AC from CHA and DEX (both of which can be heavily buffed with those 24h buffs).
You can if you want but that would be completely contrary to the build theme. Also you are sacrificing some pretty amazing level 20 capstones and in this game you spend a pretty significant amount of time at level 20.
@@bolshyplays1733 - you are absolutely right with regad to the lvl20 cornerstones, i did kinda disregaed them However, i try to play that build in last azlanti core difficulty and i have trouble with the relarively low AC on a frontline chaer lso i am very, very drunk riht now. .
Can a Angel Paladin even come close to matching a Cleric or a Battle Oracle even when it comes to Martial Combat? With a Merged spellbook, that cleric or Oracle gets you can steroid like crazy.
Yes absolutely, it just takes a lot longer to get there. The spell book merge is fantastic in the midgame because you get access to really strong spells so early but in the late game a paladin or a bloodrager will eventually get all of those amazing buffs as well as being full bab and having smite/rage/bloodline/rage powers.
If you have another character buff you maybe. The main thing you're gonna lose out on a paladin is caster levels since clerics and oracle are full caster and a paladin is only half. Although this build in particular would still work on a paladin since you could still get the quickcast firestorm from the ring and angel.
The ring only adds spells if you are a spontaneous caster. Neither paladin nor the unmerged angel spell book are spontaneous so it won't add anything. You get firestorm at level 8 of the unmerged angel spell book, but you can only instant cast 7th or lower.
That's actually the build I wanted to do but every build I do has sword and shield so I went with 2h for variety. I added a sword and board sheet to the spreadsheet.
@@bolshyplays1733 thanks you so much for getting out of your way to respond and not only that but to adjust your whole spreadsheet just for my request! You're very kind!
He will come alive after the spell book merge don't worry. Yes I think it is possible to tank on core , just make sure you've got all your buffs going.
You can definitely make a powerful angel caster but this build doesn't get it's full blasting ability until late game, so having strong melee ability is important for the first 80% of the game.
@@arissp4950 I think you need a full 9th level divine caster to merge the spell books. That is not to say a angelic paladin wouldn't work, it just wouldn't have the same insane caster level.

Thank you for this Oracle Angel build. I’m a newb to Pathfinder, several questions.. The build leaves CHA at 18 and pumps all points into STR which benefits. While this is great for the sword does it weaken Oracle and Angel spells like the various single target attacks? Does Higher CHA impact the power the builds summons? Does dodge suffer from DEX staying at 10? Is this offset by the spell buffs and auras? Skills.. All those points into Mobility offsets Lame? Does bringing Religion Lore high help with the story? Would it make sense to points into the skill that lets you spot traps and unlock chests or is that better left to a Rogue with high DEX? Thanks for your work!
More cha doesnt mean more damage most of the time. If you see the spell description, your caster level is what scale damage as it adds an extra dice to damage. More cha means more spells you can cast. Sometimes AND ONLY WHEN THE SPELL DESCEPTION TELLS YOU SO, CHA will affect damage (adds your cha bônus to dmg rolls, for example). You can see a good exemple of this on arcanist exploits damaging spells. It rolls a dice and to its final number it adds your cha. You can easly see how the number of casts per spell level scale on your character screen creation when adding points to cha.
Going to be a while. I get about an hour a day for video games/content creation. Sorry I definitely want to play more and make more videos but the time just isn't there.
Great build, i hate Pathfinder:KM that it got no quality of life mechanic on buffing at all. i had to spam clicking use 10 buff on each party members. because system memory leak from poor optimization of game makes my game run lagging and slow but the timer run normal so my buff run out fast and i got to spam it almost every fights and game had too many encounters. One suggestion. Take Oracle - Seeker instead of Oracle and drop Skill At Arms revelation.
Most Angel spells don't need penetration and 80% of the spells you use are buffs at the start.

I'll never use them all
I feel like I enjoy theorycrafting even more than the actual game.
@@JohnDoe-il4dz wrath is keeping me engaged. The story is much more interesting to me than kingmaker, I like rpg's where you can gain godlike powers.
Thank you for the praise! I'm glad you are enjoying the content!
Wouldnt the boar be extremely low level? Or does it stack with the paladins mount levels?
This is exactly what I was looking for for my first playthrough. Thanks a lot!
Glad you like it!
@@dantilem845 the only difference is that wide sweep automatically does aoe dmg per melee attack.
Thank you for this tipp:)
I took Pranked. I figure the gods would deem fit to inflict a little chaos onto a Lawful Everything tightwad as an act of penance.
Now that they have nerfed enduring spells applying to sword of heaven what mythic feats would you take instead? Thanks for these great guides!
Many thanks, that's what I needed! ... So cool it's possible to respec mid-game! 😀
I think a recent update broke part of this build greater enduring spell no longer seems to affect sword of heaven
lol You really irk me sometimes, I'm all the way up to level 6 with your 2Hand Vital Strike build and again you have me ready to stop and start over. Hey Bolshy! Do you think you could add spell selection to the google doc? Cheers and keep being awesome :)
Sure I'll try to get that updated.
@@bolshyplays1733 Oh my god haha! Yea, I had 18 this entire time. Thanks!
Paladin doesn't merge it's spellbook. Only cleric and oracle.
@@gizzle1990 thx for straighten that out. cheers
Great guide ! Never tried firestorm before, looks awesome ! I wonder if we could convert its damage to lightning and make that lightning charging armor work ( gives your ally infinite quickened lightning only casts)
Could be cool but a lot of spells that do damage over time don't get converted with bloodline/bracers damage conversion. Awesome idea though!
@@bolshyplays1733 Okay, thanks!
@@bolshyplays1733 what about a dirge bard With lich?
To properly do a Dance Macabre
Also is the retrain in the game able to do companion cause for Seelah which of these builds do you prefer the one you made or this one without the angel path both seem interesting but the Seelah build seems to lose out on those awesome revelations for just the two levels of paladin maybe I am wrong like I said not to informed on Pathfinder.
wonder if you could do a modification for this build for the lich path
I never gotten the "merge spellbook" thing... Do you merge with your original class or the mythic one? What do you click?
With the release I think you could check some old builds to see if they still work/can be improved (looking at you vital strike).
Also amazing content, saw most of your videos in the last couple weeks.
What happened to vital strike?? That's my baby
Thanks for the feedback!
@@bolshyplays1733 I think that trickster mythic path changed, but I'm not sure.
What would be a good endgame greatsword for this build?
what a OP bulid thx ... 20 lvl very strong so hard to mix it with something ..like monk 1 lvl and something with magic armor so u can be tank too,
i will pick penetrations instead of cleaves early and maybe focus on evocation spells, some benefits from sorceres bloodline u see there to improve this bulid more? or dex tank version?, anyway after this video im sure i will play around this bulid :D
Nice build. I might try it, but I will probably dip 2 levels of paladin for that sweet saving throws bonus on charisma.
Thanks! Keep up the awesome videos!
Maybe your death knight but aasimar instead of tiefling?
Making a martial gish character with no shield, no dex and using cleave on top of that to even further lower your AC, and the lower HD of Oracle pretty much means this is unplayable on early levels on core difficulty and above or probably any but the very easiest difficulty if youre playing with Last Azlanti turned on. It's just too easy for enemies to destroy you on any of the higher difficulties.
HI there, Huge fan here. any caster builds? ive tried plenty but i find them underwhelming and very straight forward...
It's main issue that it won't have 24h 1/round buffs, but with quicken spells you can use them situationally and you can get 24h buffs only when sum of character class level and mythic level get to 25 (almost end of the game).
correct me if I am wrong but Wolf-Scard face doesnt have any drawbacks asside from the description which has no effect on the gameplay correct?
Thanks for this! Super helpful with build planning. Do you happen to have a spreadsheet version that has the spells you picked listed?
I can add that to the spreadsheet sometime today 👍

Hey dude, thanks for making the content :)
I'm thinking of taking this build to core, just wondering how you feel about running it in Heavy Armour?
I'm thinking about taking the S&B style and slamming Arcane Armour training on there >.> Not sure how I would fit it, but a Mythril Full Plate should be viable, gives us lots of AC and with the other buffs we could easily reach 50AC. Would be a decent frontliner.
You don't need any feats, once you take skill at arms revelation you can cast in heavy armor with no failure. Oracle is a divine caster and they don't have arcane spell failure.
@@bolshyplays1733 Legend. I can't believe I forgot that part.
I'll save the build for my third playthrough. I just hope I reach minimum 50ac :)
Hi
Wanted to say I love your builds :)
Quick question, I watched a earlier video on all the features of angel Mythic, and I feel your "picking" a lot of spells the the Angel mythic path gets already?
also, again correct me if im wrong, you pick Combat healer at some point, but the angel Mythic path has that Speed of light making all spells quicken, so isnt combat healer wasted?
You only get the angel exclusive spells as a spontaneous caster. You wouldn't get archons aura for example while merging the oracle spellbook
Also as far as combat healer, you don't get speed of light until the end of the game so it helps to have an instant heal for the majority of your playthrough 👍
@@bolshyplays1733 Thanks feel honored that you replied :D
Can i use this build as base for a variation of a more focused caster? I reaaaaaly hates the melee classes and rather been a kind of wizard or something less brawl.
What is a good alternative to Cleave?
@@rapheeki9335 just go pure deliverer slayer with scythes or glaives as main weapon. These 2 are the best 2h weapon types.
@BolshyPlays Any chance you have a OP build for the Swarm path? I want to try swarm so hard but not sure what build, I am thinking of taking your Meat shield build? But not sure what is good
No I haven't really done any work on the late game mythic paths yet. I should be back to playing the game and making content this week though!
i play it similiar but more optimized for higher difficulty, so animimal mystery for pet and one Level in Monk (scaled fist), you get twice your charisma to your AC. Im also using staff for flurry of blows and dodge, crane style and wings.
Since the game gives you many holy longsword. Would you recommend this build with a longsword?
Im confused maybe i skipped something but how or why do you get Bonuses to Fire spells? Like u don't even have to choose fireball its already in your spell list.
There are rings that add spells to your spell book for spontaneous casters. I'm using the red salamander to get fire spells. Yo can buy it from Vissaly Rathimus in act 2 in your camp

I appreciate the help, but I think they updated it. Thank you.
What equipment are you using? It looks like light or medium Chest Armor which wouldn't make full use of the Lame's armor weight immunity or maybe I don't understand how armor works.
This was just a demo video, I would use heavy armor as soon as I picked up the skill at arms revelation
Quick question as a new player. Is there any difference between Oracle and Oracle - Seeker for this build?
You trade some revelations for a few bonus feats. It's probably the best archetype for a spellcasting-focused oracle. I prefer standard oracle for this build because this build focuses on the martial side of things for much of the game.
I kinda wanna make an oracle of storm, can I take wind as my oracle mystery? How does it scale? I am a noob to pathfinder, thanks in advance.
Demons are immune to electrical damage. So until you get ascended element you'll not be doing much other than supporting.

My firestorm spell doesn’t look like this for some reason? Is this a graphical option?
It's a flames revelation with the same name as the spell
After trying celestial charger and this build, I really want to go paladin 2H reach weapon angel path. It seems to do pretty good on hard, but I am a little lost. Could I use this build as a base (same race, angelkin, etc) but go 20 levels in paladin. If so, would you recommend paladin or warrior of the light (pally subclass). Could I use these same feats, or would you recommend any different feats. Could I go this same stat spread as well?
I would put a little less in CHA for Paladin - probably put it in CON, and/or some in DEX (like 13 min to qualify for some good feats).
Also you won't need improved or greater abundant casting (as paladins never get high level spells), or spell penetration (your casting level will not be high enough to justify using any offensive spells, so it would be pointless to get spell pen.)
Paladins are full BAB class, so it may be worthwhile to pick up Vital Strike (and its improved versions) and the corresponding Mythic feat - this is very good for boss killing; it does mondo damage in a one hit.
Weapon Focus, Greater Weapon Focus, and Improved Critical), you will need to pick up manually.
any limit on armor?

Anyways, great job explainning it.
Sorry to bother ya, but I'm working on a similar build. Except there is one issue I'm having with Sun Form; I can't find where the ability to shoot rays of holy fire is after activating it, even though the description says you get the ability. Do you have any clue how this is supposed to be done?

@@bolshyplays1733 hmmm might be bugged if the bar is full then, or completely bugged. Anyways thanks for the help :)
If I wanted to do this, should I drop it in at the mythic path instead of abundant casting? I want to make this as easy as possible.

@@bolshyplays1733 thanks you so much for getting out of your way to respond and not only that but to adjust your whole spreadsheet just for my request! You're very kind!
Is this build able to tank on Core Difficulty? I have a similar build on my crusader, but he's starting to get clapped at level 8ish.
He will come alive after the spell book merge don't worry. Yes I think it is possible to tank on core , just make sure you've got all your buffs going.
@@bolshyplays1733 Phew, almost there then. I have an Animal Domain Crusader, and me and my Cat are the only frontliners.
Bolshy wouldnt this build just be better with a spellcaster character rather than a melee?
You can definitely make a powerful angel caster but this build doesn't get it's full blasting ability until late game, so having strong melee ability is important for the first 80% of the game.
@@bolshyplays1733 true that . Could you make a paladin angel build. ? More smashing less blasting
@@arissp4950 I think you need a full 9th level divine caster to merge the spell books. That is not to say a angelic paladin wouldn't work, it just wouldn't have the same insane caster level.
With what character did you start playing ?
I am stuck at creating him, I will be losing a couple of days :)
Any chance you can write an unarmored monk dipping high ac, good damage melee trickster here ? :)
Give me the starting stats and the first levels so I can at least start playing it. Something good for core difficulty with full companions.
Do you want a full monk build or a melee character that uses weapons and has a 1 level monk dip?
Here Mos, I just made the first 7 levels. I will update the rest this afternoon

@@bolshyplays1733 Just 1 dip in monk. I just want a character who is melee, doesn't have armor, I don't care about weapons(2h dual wield etc), will have high ac mid/late game and has good damage. I want to "feel" that my character is powerful/awesome
@@bolshyplays1733 Thank you very much for the quick build(you truly are too kind) But i've started to play you freebooter build. Who knows, maybe i'll like the trip micromanagement :)
I think you'll love it, I did!
Oh and before I forget, your str or dex bônus (if you have weapon finesse for the later) does increase your dmg
to me i cant have an angel without wings, i sacrificed the second mystery for it
Ah, i miss old kayle
Nice build. Melee Lich please...
Thanks! The meat shield and mutant builds on my channel work especially well with lich. Are you looking for something specific?
@@bolshyplays1733 Looking for melee/spell caster with litch path. Your Tempest build works with litch? Dragon rider it's possible? Thanks.
When will there be a video build for the rest of the companions?
Going to be a while. I get about an hour a day for video games/content creation. Sorry I definitely want to play more and make more videos but the time just isn't there.
@@bolshyplays1733 no problem ^(
Great build, i hate Pathfinder:KM that it got no quality of life mechanic on buffing at all. i had to spam clicking use 10 buff on each party members. because system memory leak from poor optimization of game makes my game run lagging and slow but the timer run normal so my buff run out fast and i got to spam it almost every fights and game had too many encounters.
Your build SOLVE everything, i got mix buff spell and last 24 hr. NICE!!!
24hr buffs is such a quality of life improvement!
I tough Legends Builds with all these stupid supercombo bonuses are cheats...but this build bases on that sword that supposed to last 1 minute and now its 24h feel kind unfair OP protagonist plot armor :D
I didn't put it in the video but this build can also hit caster level 26+ at which point extend metamagic will make round per level buffs 24hr long. Too much for me but it is an option.
Final revelation is almost irrelevant. I mean you will get level 20 right before the end of the game so who cares about it ?
I reached level 20 just before the end of act 4 in the beta, unless they significantly changed xp, you will have quite a bit of time to enjoy level 20 capstone's in this game.
they changed the XP gain they learnt their lesson from Kingmaker
I appreciate the build but the showcase is kinda pointless, you just dropped two firestorms on trash mobs lmao
Yeah haha, I made some save files before mini bosses in my current playthrough to highlight build effectiveness in future videos.
I could not hear anything your said. You need a head set or something.
For Easy or Baby difficulty. . . only- You wont survive with this build anywhere else
where's your build posted? Not seeing any videos on your channel
Git Gud is the key
Playing on core. It is strong quite strong.
