Secret Gili Islands, things to do in Lombok, Lombok hidden gems, Indonesia

- As we continue on our journey through Lombok we leave Kuta early in the morning and embark on a 2hr drive across south west Lombok through stunning scenery and over a mountain to arrive at 10am in Sekotong.
We get a private Jukung (fishermen’s boat) with the lovely Salinah and his father in law who takes us first to Gili Nanggu where we spend the morning snorkelling, sunbathing and exploring the small island. At around lunch time we go to Gili Sudak where there is a Warung (local Indonesian restaurant) where we have some lunch and do a bit more exploring this time walking the extend of the island once over which took us 1hr. Salinah was surprised to find out we’d done that as apparently it’s not something tourists do, but we both thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend ;-)

Hello, yes still enjoying Indonesia. We’ll be exploring Flores and Sumba in a few weeks. If you have any other recommendations I’d love to hear.
@@ravermonkey01 Sumba is beautiful also Flores, trip wae rebo, lake Kalimutu and after komodo trip stay to pirate island. Because i live In jakarta Java is also many beautiful place you can visit. Jakarta have sixth district named 1000 island have white sand beach like the gili's, ujung kulon national park you can see one horned rhinoceros only 17 left in the world. Also the majestic krakatoa. If you want to see many waterfalls at Curug west Java. At east Java have many waterfalls tumpak Sewu, kapas biru, Conan pelangi, at central Java if you want to feel island like Gili visit Karimunjawa but overall Java have many to offer. Indonesia is so large have many things to see like 80 days around the world 😂. Btw can i put your vlog to my website? Hope u enjoy my country 😊
@@idkreatif8701 that’s great thank you, I’ll definitely check these out. After Sumba we need to leave the country but will certainly be back soon as we both love Indonesia.

@@ravermonkey01some of the best beaches of sumba: tarimbang beach, mambang beach, Kambaru beach, Marosi beach, Bawana beach, Nihiwatu beach, watubela beach and Salura island.
Some of the best waterfalls in Sumba :
Matayangu, kanabu wai, tanggedu, Lapopu, Wai marang and many more.
There's many hidden gems there, it's would be better if you do sumba in a group so you can visit more places.
