To me this song is a result of a time that you lose someone, and in the beginning you become a ghost of your self (Mitch in the white Shear) but you finally move on, and as you are starting to ask, is it ok to be happy now, and then you finally break through and you allow yourself to be Happy Now, me, myself and I. This is a strong and loving song! And I so agree with you. Not only is Pentatonix so good in their vocals, but they got the right team together. Perfect Makeup/clothing Artist, The sound mixer, the video mixer. IT makes them as you say PERFECT.

There are a few videos where they discuss their method for arranging and they always start with the beat. I have yet to see the who wrote this song but I do know that PTX has written songs on their own as well as with others.

Matt did not write the song. He does sound great on it. Several people have writing credits on the song, including Kirstin, Kevin and Scott.
Kevin, Kirstin and Scott wrote this song with talented songwriters.
