@Öresund Bron Just as many as there are amazing Emcees, Poets, DJ's, Flute Players, Koto players, Harp players, Jazz Pianists, Activists, Speakers & Singers out there in this mystical, profound, misunderstood & admittedly unbalanced, deceitful world. We're just talented, unique people who attain a gift that is defintely reachable but takes a lot of dedication, determination, charisma & hope. That remain as hidden gems, spreading love, positive energy, vibes, class & music with good feel that can uplift the mind, soul spirit. We do it for the Love, enjoyment, blessings & the Art. And we never fade out like those who seek short-time fame & glory. I have watched this so many times it's just incredible...love hearing each player's personality come out on the instrument..to me that goes far beyond just technique but phrasing as well. These guys are all great!
Great guitars! I'm 65 and i grew up on mclaughlin and zappa and hendrix and rundgren and santana and dimiola and coryell and it makes me smile to see kids doing it !
Have watched this many times and each viewing feels remarkably like a fresh experience. Six gifted musicians, conversing with different intonations but ultimately speaking the same language. Bravo, gents!
+goldwizzard77 While TheRlyNewHide has a point, judging from the quality of the video it is obvious that we're talking about the positive meaning of "killed it"
My favorite part is by far Guzman's. As everybody the technique is top notch. But he has variety and his tone... it's just perfect to me. Sparkling clean with some break to it... love it!
sometimes after watching these type of Guy's i wonder why aren't we filling up the music space with more like them (Satch and Vai types) ....i mean these guys are definitely enjoyable to listen and top notch musicians
Have you heard Tony Mario Orchestral guitarist and great Solo arrangements using melody and chords along with bass notes and no backup tapes . Just good solo playing
Al these young musicians are excellent... You may have a preference but they all excell at the most difficult genre and instrument of all..thumbs up!!!Mariano Vico guitarist and English teacher from Havana Cuba.
Finding it hard to pick a favourite here each time I watch it they all blow me away, yeah theyre sounding like Guthrie, Greg Howe and Brett Garsed but thats were the fusion style has evolved to, anyone who plays lead guitar who cant appreciate this is either jealous or deaf. Great job guys outstanding playing from all of you.
There was some really fabulous music making going on in this vid. Sure there were lots of notes being played but UA-cam is filled with all sorts of shred noise with not mush music being made. Bravo gents!
I thought they were all pretty great and seeing all the different styles and their take on the song is so cool that was a great job by all of them I thought
Surprised at the lack of comments toward vinai. He definitely seemed the most clued up on the seminal features of fusion and played the best in relation to them
Great job guys! Beautiful interpretation and approaches of the notes. Love the style of Yannis Papadopoulos! Keep on going guys and thanks for sharing!!
Personally my favorite overall is Leonardo Guzman. Great playing style, technique and most importantly the tone and sound quality of the guitar and amp.
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 7pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 7pm and 1am, then a slight chance of showers after 1am. Patchy fog after 1am. Low around 62. Southeast wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Up next, your 10 day forecast.
Jazz Fusion is basically Jazz Rock and yes it has Improvisation in it and a Jazz Fusion ssong is bassicaly a Jazz song with a distorted guitar in it no matter if the song is a swing song or not
Pushkar Sarkar yeah i don't think this has any jazz on it either... shredding jammin fusion rockin funky. i mean, what is the connection between this and jazz in general? improvisation? is the only one i see and i think you wouldn't call every improvisation "jazz"
Não humilhando os demais participantes, mas o Claudio Pietronik Arrasou com os precisos solos. Parabéns Claudio Pietronick. Not humiliating the other participants, but the Claudio Pietronik Arrasou with the precise solos. Congratulations Claudio.
beautiful playing. I think each performance had soul & identity, to disagree with another comment that they sounded the same: one would expect each performance to be mostly within the harmonic and melodic space of the jam track, which makes it sound pleasing to the listener. That is the point, it is improvisation and it is jazz. Perhaps someone should illustrate what musical gibberish over the same track would produce. I've heard a Coltrane song where the key & scale mode never changed, so I doubt he would say this is not jazz.
Yiannis! Wow, man! Totally killer! I really respect the many different picking styles you used, from legato to very heavy. Plus, the harmony lines were insane. Good job, my guitar brother. :)
All these guys have great technique, but Dhalif was the only one who made it go past a playing exercise. Certainly the most natural talent of the bunch!
🙏🏻Thank you for checking out the video guys!

Bellissimo, ora vivo nella tua Terra, che è anche la mia
How many fantastic unknown guitarists live on this planet??????
@Öresund Bron Just as many as there are amazing Emcees, Poets, DJ's, Flute Players, Koto players, Harp players, Jazz Pianists, Activists, Speakers & Singers out there in this mystical, profound, misunderstood & admittedly unbalanced, deceitful world.

you don't have to be well-known to be loved, respected & looked up to.
All of them
6
BILLIONS.
A lot which is why i hate when people say x is the best guitarist... etc... no the best guitarist is sitting in their house shredding it up. Hahaha
We absolutely love what you all have played over our backing track. Thank you all so much guys! Coffee Break Grooves.
It was the perfect track for these highly caffeinated guitarists to wail on!
Dhalif Ali, holy shit. Technical and musical with great taste.
Def my fav out of this group. Really blazes through that bridge!
Agreed 100%
0:40 was pulled right out of a Govan playbook.
My face melted a bit
All of it sounds like the Howe/Kotzen CD.
Rich Small this entire groove sounds like it could be a Howe track. But that lick has distinct Guthrie flavor to it.
Leonardo's control and picking with his right hand is insane. The hybrid is really impressive.
Toni is the most underrated here. That Pinch harmonic definitely went into my lick library
Same here!
All of them are fantastic
Man, I used to think metal and blues was where it was at...this style Is definitely what I want to pursue...so expressive!
so in the last 4 years, how did u do??
R u dead?
These guys are all great players been listening to jazz guitar for 55 years it doesn't get any better than this. Thanks for the sweet treat
Dhalif Ali killed it!
Yeah wow man, he plays alot like the guitarist in my city that are in the jazz scene. Except Dhalif is better lol
Dhalif Ali gets my vote
is it cuz your an ali too?
leonardo guzman...this dude is proving to be a monster every time i see him play!
Dhalif. Just groovin'.
Have watched this many times and each viewing feels remarkably like a fresh experience. Six gifted musicians, conversing with different intonations but ultimately speaking the same language. Bravo, gents!
Leonardo killed it
+goldwizzard77 so do you want to say he did well or the opposite? "Killed it" kind of has two meanings. :D
Seriously dude ?
+goldwizzard77 While TheRlyNewHide has a point, judging from the quality of the video it is obvious that we're talking about the positive meaning of "killed it"
+TheRlyNewHide It's obvious that he meant the guitarist destroyed it :p
clean guitar shreding
My favorite part is by far Guzman's. As everybody the technique is top notch. But he has variety and his tone... it's just perfect to me. Sparkling clean with some break to it... love it!
All were great. I enjoyed Dhalif Ali the most. But hats of all to all for great technique and phrasing.
GOOD GAWD!!! Leonardo Guzman just rocked my world! Truly magnificent.
Leonardo and Dhalif!!!
So groovy!!
true dhalif is amazing..
I love LEO
This video ages like fine wine!!!!
Amazing playing right there, outstanding musicians deserving a lot more attention
Gotta say Dhalif killed it !! Leonardo too !!
Dhalif Ali rules!
asked youtube for some new fusion guitarists...youtube delivered. shitsticks, this was nuts!
That BT is so amazing! Oh, and of course the magnificent of all the guitarrist as well.
Gracias por esta impresionante interpretación!!!!
Saludos desde El Salvador!!!!!
How in hell is one supposed to pick a winner with all that talent?? Every one of these guys is above talented in my opinion. Kudos to all
There was so much awesome in this video it boggles the mind.
Agreed
sometimes after watching these type of Guy's i wonder why aren't we filling up the music space with more like them (Satch and Vai types) ....i mean these guys are definitely enjoyable to listen and top notch musicians
Have you heard Tony Mario Orchestral guitarist and great Solo arrangements using melody and chords along with bass notes and no backup tapes . Just good solo playing
Comparation no needed !! Every guitarist developed his own jazz guitar style and all of them are great in their own way.
This was "the biggest shred colab" before it was cool.....
Ear candy, medicine for the mind. So much love for the different musical personalities here - excellent!!
Al these young musicians are excellent... You may have a preference but they all excell at the most difficult genre and instrument of all..thumbs up!!!Mariano Vico guitarist and English teacher from Havana Cuba.
Been following Dhalif Ali for a couple years now. Dude is a beast.
0:46 the licc
Finding it hard to pick a favourite here each time I watch it they all blow me away, yeah theyre sounding like Guthrie, Greg Howe and Brett Garsed but thats were the fusion style has evolved to, anyone who plays lead guitar who cant appreciate this is either jealous or deaf. Great job guys outstanding playing from all of you.
i love the dhalif ali part very good job guys
Thank you!🙏🏻
Me too, I love the sound on his guitar 🎸 it's like he applied a bit more of a jazzy rock distortion and style

I thought they were all pretty great and seeing all the different styles and their take on the song is so cool that was a great job by all of them I thought
Just amazing. Every one of them. Amazing.
Face melting, beautiful virtuosity through and through!! Wow!!
They ALL kill it . I love how Dhalif start it and end it .
really enjoy the first one
Can we get a backing track of this jam please?! It’s so groovy!!
Surprised at the lack of comments toward vinai. He definitely seemed the most clued up on the seminal features of fusion and played the best in relation to them
dhalif, guzman, and yiannis, smooth fusion nicely done.
unos verdaderos genios.
Ahora las grandes obras bajo esa modalidadse harán así
I needed to see this, I'm so glad I did! So many talented young musicians out there!
LEONARDO GUZMAN your the best.. you play so good...
All very good but Yiannis tears down the roof with it
Glad to see vinai on the last part..
I've been digging me some fusion here lately. That's what I've been working on these days. Love it!
Great job guys! Beautiful interpretation and approaches of the notes. Love the style of Yannis Papadopoulos!
Keep on going guys and thanks for sharing!!

Up next, your 10 day forecast.
All you guys, what a brilliant show! Loved it, it swung, it funked it blazed it,s suoer jam.
this jam blow my mind... through these notes I perceive your feelings during an amazing improvisation
Jazz Fusion is basically Jazz Rock and yes it has Improvisation in it and a Jazz Fusion ssong is bassicaly a Jazz song with a distorted guitar in it no matter if the song is a swing song or not
I also think that jazz rock fusion has influanced progressive metal soo much
Pushkar Sarkar WTF are you talking about? I'm pretty sure there're many guys out there who are reading your comments and shake their head like me.
Pushkar Sarkar yeah i don't think this has any jazz on it either... shredding jammin fusion rockin funky. i mean, what is the connection between this and jazz in general? improvisation? is the only one i see and i think you wouldn't call every improvisation "jazz"
of course! after all, the label won't say if it's good or bad
Pushkar Sarkar it is a rock and jazz combined so it is a rock and jazz fusion genre.
This is very, very cool. As it switches from one player to the next, it helps keep things interesting and diverse. Nice!
it's cool how 5 different languages kinda speak the same..
Diverse is a liberal retarded people term to use on guitarists .
@@AntonioLopez-kw3ev Quit ascribing meaning where there is none, Antonio
Não humilhando os demais participantes, mas o Claudio Pietronik Arrasou com os precisos solos. Parabéns Claudio Pietronick. Not humiliating the other participants, but the Claudio Pietronik Arrasou with the precise solos. Congratulations Claudio.
I absolutely love this! Freedom of speech by guitars, Jazz Fusion 4eva!

Toni Martinez is sick tone beat! As is Dhalif. All are great.
Incredible tones!!!
Wow Leonardo Guzman what a solo! Fantastic tone and some absolutely crazy licks! Gotta love that hybrid picking
Claudio pietronik is best of all...his out side scale very good...
Yiannis! Wow, man! Totally killer! I really respect the many different picking styles you used, from legato to very heavy. Plus, the harmony lines were insane. Good job, my guitar brother. :)
Yiaanis was the best for me. Loved the legato and amazing alternate picking.
Leonardo just wiped out everyone. And he doesn't even care to be recognized 😊 That was incredible solo with a touch of Guthrie Govan in it!
Holy crap, the playing on this is just astounding! Great work by all involved.
Dhalif effortless
Dhalif has too much soul
This has Greg Howe written all over. Great work, fellas!
All these guys have great technique, but Dhalif was the only one who made it go past a playing exercise. Certainly the most natural talent of the bunch!
Another vote for Dhalif Ali
true
Jesse and Tony: right, this guy is awsome!
Chills from head to toe! So lovely, pure and tight. Sharing this gift with you all.... Love it, LIKE it, SHARE it

WOuaf Awesome every guys great talent. Wouafffffffffff. Good Mix. How do you record that in all countrys ? Amazinnnnnnng. Congratulations.
Leonardo's is perfect, I need to transcribe what he did so I can understand how to play like him, because that is exactly how I want to play!

You're the man, Dhalif!
Yiannis is AMAZING! Holy cannoli!

Amazing guitar playing !!
everyone in this jam is an absolute beast on the guitar!
I typed jazz fusion. To see what came up. Wow I’m gonna do random searches more often. This is amazing!! Great players all of them.
Dhalif and Yiannis win!!
+Lokesh Thakur Totally agree ! I also liked some of Leonardo Guzman's and Vinai T's ideas, maybe not perfect but fresh, in my humble opinion.
yes yes yes ..
Dhalif Ali...you're rocks bang!!
So Jazz Fusion is a fancy word for "FUNK" love it!!
Leonardo Guzman!! Good sound!
I think that this impro is amazing because the people is amazing at all the worl.
