Thanks for the review. It should be noted that the X8 Tele won't work with the Fimi TX10A smart controller. Also, don't expect the X8 Tele to be FAA RID approved anytime soon. The X8 Pro still isn't FAA RID approved, only the X8 SE 2022 (and V2) have been FAA approved. Fimi makes lots of promises, but keeps very few. The only current Fimi drones I would recommend are the X8 SE 2022 V2 and Mini 3.
are you sure you have the tele or do you have the x8 pro as the controller works with the x8 pro but as for the tele fimi says no it will not work asnd the tele is solink transmission system where the tx10a is rocklink transmission system.
I'll try it and get back to you, it does the app for it, the range us great on this drone , got it out the 10km , and the zoom us as advertised, luv the battery options, and the cruise control works great with video in a straight line , and it's fast ,
You are absolutely right but the others believe otherwise .. The tx10 controller actually tells you it cannot be used with the tele drone .. The app update tells you not to update on tx10 for tele pro but on your mobile instead
I always have problems in full sunlight with the 2020. The objects in the sunlight are too bright. You see it as result afterwards. Do you have top parameters for the SE 2020? Full sun on objects in summer often leads to white holes. The tele is very interesting but I look for zooming during recording. I'm not sure ...
Great place to fly drones! The ev +1.0 is a little higher here if you noted, which makes the video a little over-explosure, I think that's why the landing pad is missed. I just have several flights with mine last weekend, I also noted in 4k/60fps mode you can't zoom, you need to switch to 4k/30.
Are you able to change exposure & EV compensation DURING video recording? As long as I know, no Fimi drone allows to adjust exposure when recording video! They need to fix that behavior, being able to adjust the exposure when video is being recorded is an important detail. Even cheaper drones allow exposure adjustment in video recording. Would be nice if that can be done with this newest model.

@capeRCouple land, I think it's in the group of trees by the miners memorial manor but it's pretty thick there and also people's backyards. I walked it a few times but could see anything. I used it quite a bit tho so I have to look into getting a new one

You know, I love the FIMI drones and I only switched to DJI because the Fimi X8 didn't have the EASA certificate required. - One of the things I appreciated about the FIMI from the start was the precise automatic spot landing right in the middle of the "H"... And that was even when there were other rectangular areas near the landing pad. It's a pitty that the Fimi seems to have lost its landing precision. My Tele controller is scary. Most times I can feel the microwave radiation hitting my palms, under my thumbs. Also it tried to fly itself into the ground the other day. It does have an 8K timelapse, but it barely usable. But the zoom is great, but I thought it wasn't optical. I thought it was a concave lens to focus the image. While it used its 8k ability, to use only part of the 8k image to zoom into.
This was my own fault,i should have known better that the drone wouldn't let you use any capabilities in its highest resolution and frame rate,Zooming does work when filming in 4k 30fps and the S.A.R only works when you turn it on before entering video mode.

Could be im just not getting the latest updates,this happens with other drones i own and i usually get firmwares later than the rest of the world.Lets hops so anyways as i don't feel like returning it and paying more money.
Strange, I thought that all the units shipped to all parts of the world will have the latest firmware installed at the time of shipping, or that they will download it when the controller connects to Fimi servers, no matter where in the world the drone is connecting to the web. I saw other videos also testing the zoom on it, and they worked as well. Hopefully you didn't get a defective unit.

It does work with my tx10a remote they have it added app

That image look really great. Crystal clear and no blue green tint anymore, like on the other versions. Great improvement. I am impressed.
it will look better next flight tony as i hit the ev button and is why the sky was blown out throughout the video

If you take it out of 4K 60 the zoom will work add 4K 30 just like the Mini 3 Pro

Everything should have been set to auto from factory,not sure why it was at +1 but ill have a better look my next flight with it.
The right dialing wheel is used to setting the EV by default, maybe you touched the wheel and didn't note it.
@@shapethefuturetech6005 now that you say it i did as the zoom works from that wheel when pressing the b button on the bottom of the transmitter.
Is the tele1/2 inch sensor stacked or the same as the 2022?

Much better video quality than the x8 pro and it has a telephoto lens which can super zoom.

It is a digital zoom. Not an optical zoom.

for me it would be a little of a decision as they are both good drones but the DJI flies better

That thing could not transmit ion radiation. I think maybe you’re feeling a current or something with the battery
Ok it does work while recording but you are in 60fps mine works fine in 30fps hope it helps 😊 I post my latest beach video the zoom working
