end of the Fimi X8 SE 2022, replaced by the tele, aka the Fimi X8 SE 2024.... if you ignore the improvements the chassis is virtually the same. if it wasnt so heavy for our regs i'd have one, but guess my next one will be the mini 3

I am really wanting to know if the x8 pro / tele that much better than the x8 2022? Is it worth the extra expense?

Hi, good flight of the Fimi X8 SE 2022, thanks for sharing. I have the X8 SE 2022 V2 and think that it is the best large Fimi drone for the money available. The X8 Pro is a waste of money. It has FPV stutter on the TX10A. I had ordered the X8 Tele, but canceled that order when I learned that that drone won't work with the TX10A.

I got the Potensic and wasn't impressed with the image quality, so I got a Mavic Mini 4 Pro. Much better. I am a bachelor and can get good toys. LOL.

Looks like a quality drone to me, you can get the battery now of Banggood too, so bonus.I opted for the Hubsan Zino instead , but this is in my sights for sure next month!!! Rob

Nice review, I got one also, it's good for the price, something interesting I found, The antennas of the remote is fake, so you don't need to bother pointing the antennas, the real antenna is internal. The distance showing is also not real, when you fly over 1000m, the distance increase much faster:)

Gimbal works better than the other one. And it's strange but the follow-me should be more accurate with the GPS build-in the controller. But like I said they just don't know how to program it. Has little to do with the hardware.

I wonder if it will control other KF Drones?? The camera is OK for the price.. probably a 1080p with an upscale algorithm. But that RC is probably worth more than the drone. I'm waiting for Fimi to come out with their Screened RC for the Mini's. 👍👍😎

Image follow like this is Tripod-mode. Nice feature actually. Drone hovers and you walk or ride past. With GPS follow-me it should not position itself of course. You want to be able to use the sticks and put it in view! Why do Chinese programmers have so much trouble getting it right? My L109 Pro was perfect and only $130. It has nothing to do with the price. It would help if drone reviewers understand how it can and should work. But they are more the 'stand in a field' type because flying drones around is their hobby logically. For me a drone just a small part of my bike trips. No matter how fantastic the camera is, if I can't launch the drone nice and quick in real life situations the thing is useless. I don't have time to spend half an hour on a shot.

I'm guessing the high price is a factor of the transmitter rather than the drone itself. I personally wouldn't buy it

Long-winded unboxing and theoretical explanations of the features tire the viewers. So get the drone out and get it in the air! - It should show what it can do in practice. The various flight modes don't really differ that much between the different types these days. The only question is whether they always work smoothly. - I, for example, wonder what the point of a zoom function is if you can't use it for filming. I'm currently doing a major PC upgrade. It turns out that my AMD Ryzen5-2400 G CPU with Radeon Vega Graphics in combination with my NVIDIA GeForce GTX-1650 is a little too small for editing 4K/60 FPS videos (with Adobe Premiere) that are longer than 5 minutes. Rendering and exporting can take 12 hours or more... Okay... that's all for now. Take care, both of you, and always take care of yourselves!

Nice review, lot of these cheap drones are 'flyers" and keep flying even when connection to controller is lost. for $30, I would want a drone which will shutdown when connection is lost so I can retrieve it.

Where can I see a list of problems fixed by the new firmware?

The Atom is an amazing little drone. I agree, this brand listens to their customers and gets to work unlike other brands who abandon their customers. By the way, what’s the new firmware version you’re on? I only got an app update but no new firmware.

I use this on my mini 3 and mini 3 pro also my air 2 s it's a asset to my DJI drones fast easy setup and switching from drone to drone is done in no time at all you will enjoy it .ps geg a air 2 s to fly with it 😁

Good morning, my friend. - Is everything OK with you and your family? Are you both and your dogs safe and sound? That makes me extremely happy! And about your video: good decision and informative short report! - I personally have not regretted switching from the "RC-N2 and 10" tablet" combination to the RC controller, despite the significantly smaller screen. - And that is also because it is ready for use much faster: the drone in one jacket pocket and the controller in the other... and within two minutes you have the first recordings on the TF card... Turn on the controller - and while it boots up, remove the gimbal and propeller guards from the Mini and then switch it on. - When you pick up the controller, it has already connected to the drone... and off you go!! The real reason for me, however, was the brilliance of the RC-2 screen! 700 nits (= cd/m²) are an almost unbeatable argument... Where my tablet was already completely black in sunlight, I can still see details on the RC-2 controller! Best wishes and have a good time! - Take care...

But you can't use a third party app far as I know so that's a downside. I'm curious how fast it boots up? How long does it take to get the drone in the air?
