wish is a rare case of the deleted scenes being infinitely better than the final product.
ABSOLUTELY!! This feels like a real Disney! They should just animate these scenes, they were pretty much done with the original version!
TBH, I've heard that for many films. Sadly, this wasn't a high bar for "Wish."😊
Frozen too
Same with finding Dory or Cars 3
The deleted scenes from both are genuinely so much better than the final products
So real 😭
"The scene was changed because we wanted Magnifico to be a more threatening villain."
Are we looking at the same footage? Magnifico looks 1,000x more threatening in this deleted scene than in the actual movie.
IKR, WTF
He's just not a villain, they need to give HIM a villain to battle. That I'd watch.
Ungrateful and unsatisfied audiences...
Where's Simon?
@@danielsvetlichny5721Disney fans when audiences don’t want to watch medicore movies.
This would’ve made Valentino actually PLOT RELEVANT!
That's so true, and he would totally fall for it cuz he can TALK
And he'd managed to deliver a funny joke
¿Y desde cuándo Valentino tiene el poder de convocatoria de llamar a todos los animales y para hacer qué...? A mí me parece igual de absurdo que en la película final.
@@ofQuestion It's literally just him taking very loud in a foreign language, it's not that hard

"The scene was changed because we wanted Magnifico to be a more threatening villian."
3:11 This shot makes Magnifico look more menacing than in the actual movie.
They litery removed any kind of fight scene in favor of them singing him to the shadow realm😭
Menacing and somewhat terrifyingly attractive. No, don’t ask me why.
STOP WHY WAS THAT BETTER THAN THE MOVIE Y'ALL FUMBLED WITH THAT
they fumbled with literally everything. A villian couple? A star boy? all the deleted concepts and scenes were 1000x better than the actual movie they messed up so bad, and it's even more disappointing knowing that it was the 100th anniversary movie.
@@chai_and_booksThis. Also Asha didn't have a quirky personality like the newer female protagonists. So many better concepts that we missed out on!
Holy. Crap. The deleted scene actually makes him far more terrifying, it's WAY more threatening.
BRO how is THIS less intimidating than what we actually got in the movie…?
Magnifico comes off a bit too stupidly evil, blabbing in front of his entire kingdom about how he only faked being nice and how he sometimes eats the people's wishes, and just demanding "gimme the star!" rather than actually coming up with a plan to get it and have Asha distracted while he does like in the finished movie. Also, consuming the wishes by literally putting them into his mouth and swallowing them...is a bit too goofy, as is the entire dumb Valentino ploy that Asha puts up.
@@incrediblefunk7220well with all that power....theres not really anything they can do to stop him.
How is the one who we got in the movie smarter than here?
Valentino would have actually been useful if they've kept this scene.
“We deleted this scene because we wanted to make Valentino a more threatening character.”
Deleted scene: *Valentino turns into an awesome monster*
Magnifico not Valentino.
yes! and the deleted scene looks awesome!
Disney really needs to change the people making these decisions over there. They do not know a thing at selecting what the audience really wants.
Pues esta película es de los creadores de la maravillosa (y muy sobrevalorada) Frozen.
Is it true that was Star was originally supposed to be a Star Boy/ Star Prince, and that this was gonna be a classic romance like every 2d Disney animation from the past that made them famous? That would have been a great 100 year anniversary.
Yes, it is true. It was revealed in the concept books or something. They described Asha and Starboy as being soulmates.
@@txwtwthat would have explained why the star only appeared for her in specific
They were quite literally linked to each other
But noooooo we can't have any romance nowadays
(even tho the point was never "end romance" and more "give us more variety on love")
@@txwtw **starts angrily writing fanfiction*
Sí, pero lo cambiaron porque en América ahora están mal vistos los romances.
@@txwtwThat's a misconception and a misunderstanding.
Are you kidding me Disney?! "The scene was changed because we wanted Magnifico to be more threatening villain".😑
This scene show Magnifico as a true threat! And is more better than actual version!
The movie is not too bad as people were talking about, but the initial ideas seem to be more better
"we wanted Magnifico and Asha to be smart" he literally didn't even get tricked despite their ruse being believable..
Somehow this Valentino's version voice is much more less annoying.
Whoever scrapped the idea of Magnifico EATING THE WISHES should be fired
How is this less threatening?
Because Magnifico is somehow dumb enough to believe a goat is the Star.
@@ennieminymoo6675 Rewatch the video. The point of the scene is that he never falls for it and Asha just needed to distract him long enough for Star to do what he needed to in the observatory.
Takes Ashas mum as hostage
Turnus into FREAKING DEMON!
@@Angie-ji7bethat weirdly reminds me of when perrito did the cute face to Jack Horner to get him to not grant the wish, but it was actually a distraction to help the rest of the cast. (Fun fact perrito and the grumpy character have the same voice actor)
If combine with concept arts or original plot, it could be much better.
Ungrateful and unsatisfied audiences...
@@danielsvetlichny5721 well yeah? it was 100 years and it was unsatisfying and a nothing burger. Asha didn't go through any growth
@@The.New.Co-Worker That settles it. You sold your joy to someone else.
@@danielsvetlichny5721
Rather ungrateful than eating the mediocrity like you
Mediocre, soulless and bad written movie made by big studio of Hollywood (with lots of money) that should know how to entertaiment their audiences with life changing stories... That is why they exist and their only purpose. But here, they are just doing it safely and without effort. If you want to defend them, go. But audiences are not ungrateful here. Audiences know how to differentiate between something of quality and something that is not, and that is not being unsatisfied or ungrateful. Without audiences, the big studios are nothing and would not exist.@@danielsvetlichny5721
“he should know that it isn’t the star”. well, he know that is just a goat.
and the point of distraction is not for him to believe, the point is fir him to focus onto them.
Plus, it would be convincing ifmyou mention the star being a shapeshifter, buying extra seconds before the jig is up
Less a threat? Are you joking? Thats better it reminds me of the wedding crash in the little mermaid, genie jafar and giant Ursula the final fight from the lion king.
We could have it all. This reminded me of the 90s :(
Someone has to be really blind to think THIS is less intimidating than what we got.
It sounds like an excuse to me because Magnifico in the final movie isnt even EVIL.
Asha MAKES him evil! If he's evil from the start like the original plans intended, then yes, he'd actually be an intimidating villain. But now he's just pathetic and wasted, he's EASY to sympathize with!
I've never seen Disney fall so hard and waste what could've been one of their best modern day movies.
This is literally better than the actual movie 💀💀💀
can we make a petition to have this film with the original script and the deleted storyboards??? wth
That makes more sense he takes the magic and transforms like a power rangers monster
Like Chernabog from Fantasia!?
« The power, the absolute power! » *Aladdin 1992 reference* and of course Peter Jöback the Swedish voice of Aladdin during the 90s made his return into Disney for voicing King Magnifico in the Swedish dub of Wish. 🇸🇪
This scene looked like Jafars' scene when he turned into a geenie
Did he eat the wishes😭💀
Apparently so lol
HOW BADLY WERE WE ROBBED????? HOW?????
- This Scene;
- The Actual 2D Animation;
- Evil Amaya;
- Star Boy;
- Sabino Singing "A Wish Worth Making".
8:26 As if a combination of Jafar's Genie Form and the Beast, could have been cool, at last we would have a Gladiator fight.
Magnifico became sort of like Jafar or Ursula after Ursula was a giant and Jafar was a genie.
anyone else imagine starboy being voiced by roger craig smith?
The thing is, they could still go on with the plot of Magnifico capturing Star, while being in this monstrous form. Like, doesn't that will give the feeling of hopelessness more? Damn we are so robbed
You've got to be joking. He was so incompetent in the movie, yet they called this scene "less threatening." I'm so done. They had to have made this movie terrible on purpose or something, there's no way they could be that out of touch.
Remind me so much classic villian eras battle
They really should read the room and make the concept art into a movie.
It would have been interesting if they went with this scene.
This is A LOT BETTER THAN the final product and what a bloody shame too.
Plus how on earth was this is less intimidating than what we got?!
It's hilarious, I'll admit.
Still, villain be fun if the queen was also involved as previous concept pointed out.
Ungrateful and unsatisfied audiences...
@@danielsvetlichny5721 Ah yes. Here we see a bot in it's natural habitat.
Sir, Magnifico looks a thousand times more intimidating in this deleted scene than he did in the movie. In the movie, he was just a narcissistic and petty king. Not even that great of a villain in the actual movie in my opinion.
Holy crap, he's like Jafar's Genie form from Aladdin!
It makes me think that they leak this kind of information just to give some justification for how bad the movie was overall.
Magnifico is turning into an enourmous monster?
They seriously need to do a Director's Cut all of these deleted scenes are 1000xs Better than what we actually got.
THIS was better than what the movie actually released!
Edit: And he said that this wouldn’t make him threatening?! Involving the innocent townsfolk just shows how EVIL he is! It also makes Valentino talk plot relevant.
Just throw in his evil queen to try and stop Star Boy and MWAH would’ve been better
The final scene was better. Magnifico was terrifying.
People will still gonna throw sh*t on this movie even if this was the final scene.
personally the sheep in zootopia was more threatening as a villain. Magnifico barely did anything evil. When he crushed the wishes all that would happen is they get a bit sad so there’s little to no stakes. Imagine if he could actually control the wishes or change their desires maybe like brainwashing the town. Or if the wishes are like a life source for something. The most he did was have the people tied with green light but it clearly wasn’t that strong since they were still able to get up every time. Atleast the sheep in zootopia actually tried to kill Judy
@lilac3266 King Magnifico is a lovely character who harms nobody; I'm shocked at Disney. It was so weird to watch that movie. Like why was everyone even mad at him? It's not like he built the entire empire with his hands right
You're joking.
Valentino here is actually helpful.
King Magnifico is for one, threatening as the devil in Fantasia. And secondly, he's showing the intelligence he's never shown in the movie.
Star is doing something helpful too, not only acting cute.
Asha is as well showing some brains and tricking the whole kingdom.
What does it say about your movie when the original concepts and deleted scenes are much more interesting than the final product?
They made ALL the WRONG choices and gave us a POOR movie!
Actually these scenes are much batter than thestoryboard we saw
This lookes like a classic Disney movie we all wanted.
Really… you wanted to delete that scene just so that he can be a “better villain”. He was already a better villain in that story board!
You can tell a movie is bad when the deleted storyboard scenes are more interesting than the actual film.
This is what happens when you let greedy businessmen run an animation company.
Asha to Magnifico; It's my wish you want! Your fight is with me!
this is 10000x better.... :(
WHAT!!🤯… This was deleted!!??
Wow. Magnifico turned into Senator Armstrong. "Wishes, son."
this deleted scene feels so twisted ..... and it almost pulled off a lion king reference ...... still I'm happy with the final version and I'm still wishing that Disney will take me into their family/team soon
valentio is what we need in a sidekick.
we could have him pretend to be star.
Exactly, at least in this scene he would be helpful for something, unlike in the final product where he is not only annoying but completely useless.
@@moonamoonz true that my dude true
Valentino is less annoying like this. 😭😭😭😭
Can you just... Do a sequel or multiverse it?
Ok what crack were the producers on, this scene is entertaining and far more terrifying and menacing as the current ending.
THE GOAT KING
If you think about the movie, you would realize the king wasnt that evil and hasnt actually done anything messed up. Didnt kill a person, deprive his citizens with his work, only solved issues and even if he did it for popularity then he is pretty much Mr Beast
He's the best and nicest king ever made in cartoons and ironically the one Disney tortured the most.
Ungrateful and unsatisfied audiences...
This is pretty similar to Jafar.
Ohhh!!! And also Maleficent and Ursula!!!
Disney trying to correct their mistake. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
How?
Omg THIS IS MORE THREATENING THEN THE OG ONE WHAT ARE THAT PERSON IN THE FIRST CLIP THINKING????
Any other deleted scenes?
We need a “Zack Snyder” version to save this….thing
Ungrateful and unsatisfied audiences...
@@danielsvetlichny5721you just gonna comment this under every comment? Lol
Is the star in 3:29 meant to be starboy?
Wow this is way better and scarier than what we got. Plus the whole animals coming to the rescue reminds me of Snow White or Cinderella where the animals help our protagonist
His muscle form does look Goofy
But him eating wishes is a menace move
That's cool and all but where's the deleted Queen Amaya and King Magnifico kissing scene?
THEY KISSED!?!?!
Th-That’s it’s? That’s all there is?! Where’s the part where Magnifico gets defeated?!?
what do yo mean asha and magnifico facing off? the town singing defeated him and she just lied there
3:14 He sounds like Smaug
Where's Starboy?
It is this but in its real form and it could speak
Okay okay, The official ending was DUMB! this one was WAY MORE THREATENING!!!!!!!
At least this Valentino did something.
I’m more interested in the alternate film. Truthfully and without exaggeration one of the worst Disney animated films ever made.
No my dear
That would be anything before the rennisaunce
Ahem, Home on the Range and some of the Disney direct to dvd sequels would like to have a word on that. 🧐
@@AshParth560 and none of those films get talked about alot
@@FilmReactor specially they're mostly forgettable.
Course if ya grew up in tje 90s like me, it does be a different story - or that part be just me. 🤷♂️
Even this wouldn't have saved it in my opinion
The story boatd was the better movie.
He sort of looks like a Evil ghost
Ok, magnifico is basically Hercules now
The net, this scene was better
On the one hand, it makes the townsfolk look so dumb and gullible to believe the goat is a star. Sure, it's a talking goat...but, really? You believe that's the star? But at the same time, I'd totally want to see Magnifico just exasperated at the whole lot of them then just straight up be more scary than anything we got in the movie.
This movie was awful but the concept art looks great too bad they chose to scrap it.
Who the heck is voicing Valentino in this scene? It sounds like Robin Williams came back from the dead!
This deleted scene has a superior, tension failed climax compared to the embarrassing climax in the final product.
I'M SORRY TO SAY THIS BUT THAT WOULD BE SOOO HOT🔥 WHEN MAGNIFICO TURNS INTO HOT BUFF MONSTER😳 JUST HEAR ME OUT OKAY!?
This is bad endings is so funny 😂
Everyone on the movie that turned down the deleted scenes deserved to be fired.
It's Blu-Ray day, give us the deleted scenes.
That could be a little better than this
Alternate IAs Ending Scene
Dang, he used to be a Jojo villain, what happened?
They had everything they had the capability of creating a Disney renaissance tyoe film they have everything and they fumbled so hard
Edit: how did they think this version of Magnifico who is essentially a demigod who can hulk out after straight up eating wishes was less threatening then what we actually got?
Holy Frijoles!
Woah!
Like this comment if you like this scene way better
He like transform like a Hulk o si that say King Magnífico Hulk
King Hulkifico?
*King Basado*
