Another brilliant version of the mighty Holden Torana! These were a limited edition model obviously. Most likely limited colour availability too I'm guessing. I've seen a yellow one like the one in the clip. I think it could be absinth yellow being an LH Torana and I've seen a red one. Not in real life though unfortunately. The red one could possibly be a mandarin red. I don't think Salamanca red was available on the LH Torana like it was on the previous LJ model. Don't know what other colours were available with this limited edition model other than the two I've seen. Someone will definitely know more about the G-Pak Torana than I do and might wish to enlighten me on what other colours were available.
knew someone who had a green g pak. it got stolen from a shopping centre carpark one day. it was found about a week later, stripped, in some "assholes" backyard. now, luckily, the asshole stole it to rebuild his own car, and all the panels were on his rolling body, the rest was virtually unscathed. good news was it was all recovered & the car was put back together.better than before including $5000 paintwork!!!
3.3 litre in such a light weight car, my dad had one way back in 1979, and I can still remember that thing went like a bat out of hell with the red motor!
I've driven two LH Toranas with the 202 pre emission control engines.......they had PLENTY of grunt! It was a perfect pairing. With the four speed manual, they were an enjoyable open road car as well. You've obviously never driven one.
