Fai Ta Lu is the best pad thai in Bangkok in my opinion. Well worth the higher price as the quality is way higher than most of the mom and pop pad thais I've had on the street.

My last trip to Bkk, 6 months ago, I used Michelin guide to eat every lunch and dinner for one week. Some good, some just ok. There is a map guide if you use Trip advisor and filter by Michelin rated. Then you can also filter by neighborhood.
I live here, have done for 21 years, and generally live on Thai food. Certainly up there, and certainly easily the best in SEA. But personally i prefer Mexican and Italian food, but not having lived permanently in either.
@@michaelhayward7572 for an county itself yeah, Thai Food is the Nr.1 followed by mexican and italien food like you said. For the variety of awesome food I like to visit Malaysia, especially Kuala Lumpur. I see myself living there and not getting tired of the cuisine

Hey Patty great content. Just a tip, on the Michelin guide website you can actually have the restaurants displayed on the map. When you do a search on the top right there is a map icon and when you click it displays the restaurant on a map of the area. Its just bellow the profile icon.

The 40baht noodle is not Tang Jai Yang. The most fav one of Tang Jai Yang is grille pork. It's located on the right of that noodle shop (next to the entry of the condominium).

You need to do a video at pad Thai narok tek on lat ya rd in Bangkok. In my opinion, it’s the best pad Thai in the world. Alex, the owner? Is a pad Thai master. It’s worth a video.
Fad diets never work long term . Portion control and exercise is what you need . Of course you know that but it's hard in Thailand with all that delicious cheap food. Miss P is nice as well!

What did the last meal in the Mandarin cost per person?
It was about 3,700-4,000 ish baht per person. I believe weekday is slightly cheaper.
