Nick the Intros have been absolutely amazing this year. Even the actors are doing well. Really like the images from the up north acreage. Thanks for all the Welkers sharing their lives with the World. Stay safe.
Coby is an amazing dog, great to see him spending time with Dad! Epic drone work Hollywood! We may have to start calling ya Maverick. Leg Arms getting it done in style! Thank you all for bringing us along for the ride! Bring on the rain! Take care and God bless!
I hope the weather forecasters are better in your area than they are here. As always good job on the video editing. I noticed when dad would say the word rabbit, Kobe would perk up.
Interesting fact Welkers...did you know that Knapheide (the grain body on the ol truck) is also founded out of my hometown Quincy, IL same as Titan Wheel. Both great customers of ours. Knapheide is 175 yrs strong...outstanding company! (Ps I also was one of the trucking companies who quoted moving your Bud to Farm Progress but I was a little high on the bid) Long time fan!
Yeah we have had a bunch of days of the smoke here in Minnesota. Advisories to stay indoors were out as it was 200 ppm. I guess there were 115 out of control fires in Canada is what I looked up. We arent getting any rain here in Minnesota either. We did early in Spring but that has since gone away for about a month now. Everything is brown here. Sad. Seems it has been correlating to your weather as well. Every time it looks like it is going to rain it does for about a minute and then the system dissipates and is gone. Very odd weather the last three years. Praying for rain for you guys!
Coby on the fender doing rabbit watch is my favorite Big Bud footage! My labs love carrots too. I canned several pounds of baby carrots this week bc they eat veggies with supper everyday. They’re too fat, veggies cut down the calories. 😂
@@hughperkins707 mine too! I keep one cut up in the fridge to use in place a treats. Sometimes toss a few of those into their bowls vs veggies. Vet said they BOTH need to drop 20 lbs. Labs eat everything & anything they can get down. I can’t get a stick of butter out & set it on the counter or Patriot will jump up & eat it. Almost killed him when he did. Causes pancreatitis.

Good to hear from you! The crops are deteriating now, do to the lack of moisture. Biggest rain was .61" this month and .5 last month. And half of the spring wheat acres didn't germ til the 28th of May. Preparing for another disapointing year. I do hope you are doing well though.
I know over on Mike Mitchell Channel he was disking up some native grasses last year (they dont have CRP programs in Canada) and he put it into Oats the first year as it a gluten free crop and you get paid more. Was that something you guys ever consider for the first year?

How much rain have you received since this video? I worry for you guys having farmed in North Dakota and Minnesota the first half of my life, I can relate the stress on relying on the unpredictable weather.
Is there any more benefit to using the coil packers on the soil finisher then using the ones that are more solid like the ones from brillion cause in ohio I have used the ones from brillion on back of 30 ft Krause disk and on back of john deere soil finisher to prep seed bed we pulled it with John deere 8870 articulated 4wd or a john deere 9400 articulated with triples I like the brillion packers better than rolling basket they have also we use both great vid guys keep up goid work hope you get more rain this year👍
Does Montana allow for Dicamba use or a glufosinate like Liberty? If your Kochia has never seen those chemicals together in conjuction it should obliterate it for the time being. Gotta check the label to see if it will affect coming year crops.
I thought Tractor Dogs job was looking out for Dangewous Wabbits. Was this filmed during all those fires in Canada? Interesting how all of those seem to start at the same time.
