What a wonderful place!!! Maybe the old couple are not that into ruins but enjoy hiking....and it was nice that those other people were worried about you and decided to look in on you. The ballroom didn't look that huge until the shot of you walking around in it.....WOW....it really is huge!!
@@AdventureNomadforNature For that ruin. The group did most of the work before I arrived, but we came back at the end of that fall season to see how it was holding up, etc. One of the great things about volunteering out there is getting tours from the experts of publicly little and un known sites.
Amazing settlement I'm not sure how accurate the dates of habitation are. And the climate must have been very different and alot of wild animals to hunt and maybe a river full of fish.
I always enjoy seeing ancient ruins. Thanks for sharing your adventures, Roxy ✌
@@suesorensen2440 glad you enjoy 👍
Thanks!
@@marysanders7780 and thank you. You are still the only person that uses the super thanks feature, other than ONE other time, one person did. Lol
The videos with your own good self in front of the lens are special treats. Thank you for these. -C
I've gained a little bit of confidence there, but not much, and am trying to get over seeing an old lady looking back at me. LOL....

@@Enquiringkitty yes, it's important to get perspective by putting a human in the shot. I'm not fond of filming myself, but I force myself too. Lol
I was on the volunteer crew that did that mitigation work, fall 2018.

@@worstchannelever5232 yes, I'm sure things were very different back then climate wise. All dates are guestimates, nobody can know 100 pct I suppose.
