Marpha, Tukche in Nepal, Annapurna Himalaya

Kagbeni village and Muktinath temple are located in the Jomson region, at the end of the Annapurna trek, Lower Mustang, Nepal. In December 2018 we visited this area. More info at benhowe.co.nz/
After trekking from Muktenath to Kagbeni we continued from Jomson to Marpha via lake Dhunba and Kuchup Terenga Monastery, a gompa high on the hill. From Marpha we then walked through into the deepest valley in the world to Tukche where we stayed in the Higher Plains Inn.

awesome Himalayan adventure and a great taste of Nepal.. Do you need to have a permit just to go to Marpha from Pohkara? Looks like you trek on your own, did you? No guide is it possible? thanks
