Thanks, I picked up these for my 2016 FiST. Only problem is the right DRL dims when I brake. I’ve double checked the connections and am stumped. Otherwise, I love the look!

Hello sir. I have the same vehicle. I wonder which is the cable of the daytime LED, I want to cancel the LED. Since the left side is faulty, I need to turn off the right side as well.

Thanks, I appreciate it! They are great headlights, though if the NA headlights weren't damaged I probably would have put that money towards other things first. That said, I do think they change the look of that car quite a bit and I"m sure they provide much better lighting than stock.

Hey man great video! I just have a issue, i followed every step you mentioned and my low beams are not working, even i plugged back again the stock headlights and the low beam it’s not working as well, any idea? Or did i done something wrong? Please help me man!! Thanks 👍🏼
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you checked the fuses? I believe there's a 2 fuses for the low beams, one for each side. I would start with that. Other than that, if you changed the pins, might want to check to make sure you moved the right one or that you didn't disturb any of the others. Good luck!

I have the tyc and they’re a bit different on the housing conectors having a hard time in the highbeams
Good to know, I assumed they were the same.
My problem is that I have DLR outside the light. I connected it up to the wires and everything works 100%....until I start the car. The the dlr turns off when I turn on the headlights.
for the high beams i already have the ford clips, if i buy h1 led now is it plug and play? Or do I have to change the wiring?
The only wiring change you need to do is to get the LED daytime running lights.

Yes you can set the level using an adjustment screw on the headlights.
Hello, first of all thanks for this video. I have a question, does your DRL working properly? I mean that drl dimming in parking light mode and not dimming and more brighte in Auto mode?

Wait so you don't really need the H1s because they are just high beams the ones mostly being used are the H7s because the LED DRLs are integrated into the Euro headlight? Trying to save money lol also I got LED super bright turn signals on Amazon

Watching this video helped me install the lights easily! Now… my only issue is not even a day in and now my led bar has gone off on its own, specifically my passenger side. This happen to you? or anyone? any solution?
Sorry for the late reply. My LED bars continued to work. I do recall one time that one of the LED bars were off, but I believe the wire I had moved was loose.

How’s the adjustability on these? Making sure they are leveled and such. I’m HEAVILY considering doing this since I hate hate hate the USDM headlights.
There's an adjustment screw on the headlights, but it's limited. My understanding is that the Fiestas in the UK had a headlight adjustment switch inside the car which controlled the motors inside the headlights. I haven't really dug into it that much, but it's something I'd like to do eventually.

Friend, I installed these European version headlights on my Ford Fiesta, the daytime running LED strip does not work, previously I had a normal headlight without LED, what procedure should I do?
For North American cars, all you should need to do is move that connector wire like I did in this video.

@@yeisonariza3865 You can get them off Amazon. You don't actually need the tool however, a small flat screwdriver will work as well.
Do you have any rust around your antenna base? I have a 2016 FiST, and the rust has gotten bad.
I may reshoot the entire roof, but Im leaning towards just fixing the rust, and then wrapping the roof black.
No rust that I can see. Is that a common issue with FiSTs?

Was pulling the wire a little to hard and it snapped off any ideas on what to do ?
Damn dude that sucks. If you can get the pin out somehow, you may be able to solder it back together.

2014. I believe the non-ST Fiestas changed in 2014.
Is your car a Canadian spec FiST? Did you originally have DRL low beams?
Yes, Canadian spec with DRL.
@@BuiltbyaGeek thanks! Great to hear. I wasn't sure how the wiring would work since every write up I've found is for US spec cars which don't have DRL low beams. Are your DRLs now, the LED strip or the low beams?
@@RamosDominicano DRL are the low beams still. The LED strip are the parking lights. I don't believe they are on when driving.. I could be wrong though, I've never actually had someone else drive the car while I checked lol.
