Thanks, I picked up these for my 2016 FiST. Only problem is the right DRL dims when I brake. I’ve double checked the connections and am stumped. Otherwise, I love the look! UPDATE: turned out it was my LED brake lights somehow interfering with the DRL. Switched them to incandescents and problem solved.
I've found alot of weird issues pop up when retrofitting vehicles that had halogen, incandescent, ETC, to LED. Leds use so little power, your car can act funny causing shorts and other issues. If you led your entire car without the correct resistors and wiring it can bring out the weird wiring goblins lol.
@joshuamiller5644 I’ve gone to halogen low beams since then. Another thing is most LED bulbs have terrible reliability causing them to fail within months sometimes
You know why my led drl is always on even when I locked the car? They stayed on for at least 30 mins then they shut off. But at night they shuts off when I lock the doors. Day time they stays on?
Could be that you have a different year of fiesta, in that case you might need to tap into a different fuse. The lights sometimes do that on my car. Since it’s tapped into something evap related it’ll stay on for several minutes but it’s pretty intermittent and hasn’t drained my battery.
Did those terminal pins slide in and lock without issue? I have the Dorman brand that is linked on the forums and they appear shorter than the oem ford pin.
@Noah Gabel great video and install. Couple questions please: 1. Were the Depot lights actually Ford branded OEM or aftermarket? How long did it take to ship internationally? 2. When the high beams are on, are the low beams on as well?
They are aftermarket OEM replacement, it only took a week or two to ship internationally. I believe the low beams stay on when the high beams come on too
Sick mods!! Love it! The DRLs are a massive upgrade. Curious, does the LEDS have a white light (like an HID)? To help make the job easier for the pin removal Amazon has pin removal tools, I don’t need a set so I can’t speak to the ability/quality, but may be a good thing to add to the tool arsenal.
The LEDs have a nice blue tint. The perfect amount of coolness in my opinion, looks like how new cars are today. I’m sure a pin removal tool and a proper terminal pin crimping tool would’ve helped too. But I was able to make it work with minimal tool!
@OutlawProductions525 The one thing I failed to mention in the video and I apologize is that there is a different fuse box between a couple of the model years. If you are a 2016+ you would likely tap into the F26 spot in the fuse box and not F20. Hopefully that helps.
Hey man, can you tell me what exactly adding that pin does? I followed your video exactly, and tapped the same fuse. But my battery went stone cold dead over night. The car has always been fine until now. Can you let me know if this could be a cause? Please and thank you.
I followed the forum directions that I have linked below in the description, on at least the 2015 fiestas it’s tapping into one of the evap systems. You might need to tap into another fuse.
I went with some basic H7 bulbs for a bit but went back to a cheap amazon led bulb. The led bulbs always fail after a few months so a standard halogen bulb might be the only reliable option.
Is the fuse tap required to get both low/high brightness DRL? With this fuse tap will it automatically switch between the two modes depending on whether the headlights are on/off?
There is an easier way you get the led strip to work. And that is to just move the pin to the top right and not adding a new one. When you follow what I do the DRL is automatically always on and will dim when the headlights are on. It’s completely seamless the way I have it set up. I’m not sure if the easier way will work similarly
Hey I'm just getting around to doing this now but have noticed my 16' fuse box looks different than yours.. F24 is Ignition Coil.. Is that the same as emissions? Looks like it was just renamed. These fuses are also Micro 2 sized
Thats awesome, that headlight is quite the upgrade. car looks sweet man!

Thanks a ton bro great video
Woahhh an add in the video moving up dog good job
I appreciate it, not monetized yet though.😅
Nice job brother! Im in America (Florida)
I’m wondering if can get all that parts? From Europe?
I have links in the description for where to buy them, I got mine from Europe! Shipping is not too bad

Owning EU Spec (As I'm from EU) FiST. US headlights looks similar to non-drl eu ones and pre fl.

Yeah it’s a bit of a squeeze especially with that wire, but they are locked in. The ones I have linked in the description work great and worth trying.
Maybe a dumb question but you just mentioned low beams in the video. Does that mean high beams won’t work for the new setup? Great video btw!
The high beams use the same bulbs and operate the same. Not a dumb question, I didn’t really mention it
@@NoahGaebel Ah makes sense. Thanks!

Sick look. I wish all US versions came like this. I have these installed along with the OEM euro tail lights which are LED ❤
Yeah so much better looks wise and functionality. Where did you get your euro tails?
@@NoahGaebel they were on WHOOSH but are no longer available so I checked Ebay UK and I had a clean pair of taillights imported for about 163GBP.
what fuse in the box is connected to. What is it for.
I have a 2019 Fiesta ST and my fuse box looks different than the one in the video

It helps a lot Noah, I was following your video and got stuck on this part.
Do you have a part # for the headlights?
I have links to the website as the DEPO may or may not be in stock. The TYC is a comparable substitute

What size wire did you use 18 or 16?
I don’t quite remember unfortunately, but the 18 awg seems like it would work a little better
16awg is black 18awg is red . Appreciate your fast response your video definitely helps
Hello sir. Which socket is the LED cable?

Did you use forscan or another car scanner tô enable the DRL channel? Or change any configuration to LED lamps?
I did not, what you see in the video is exactly what I did during the install. Changing out the pins is all you need to enable the lights
@@NoahGaebel great! Thanks for the fast response, i will do that. Greetings from Brazil!
What terminal pins did you use? I bought doorman 20-16 150 terminal pins and it doesn’t fit
Link in description for them and the other parts used.
Here are the Terminal Pins:

The forum i’m looking at, which I have linked in the description. It mentions to use the F26 spot for a 16+
