I'm 15 years old and my mom has me hooked on DMB. I've learned most of their songs on the guitar.
Also 15 and my dad got me hooked i’ve learned a lot of the alto and tenor sax parts

He’s definitely been more into it the last few tours. I remember shows between like 2009 - 2016 that he just seemed to be phoning it in. He seems rejuvenated and I love it
I've seen them every US tour since 2012, and I agree that this year was the best they've ever sounded. Dave is all smiley, Buddy has added a new layer with the incredible range of sounds he is capable of playing and his back-up vocals are awesome, the setlists are a great mix of mostly old songs with a few of the good newer ones like Walk Around the Moon and Drunken Soldier. They just seem to be enjoying themselves and I'm all for it

I think Dave completely overdubbed the vocals on this video or they took the vocals from another performance, because it's wildly different from the tape and Sirius stream haha
The Sirius xm streams can be so bad though imo. Maybe just clearer never know lol
@@sear8719 That's not it. Search UA-cam for "walk around the moon woodlands Sirius" and you can compare it. Especially compare the part when he says "I was just a little close to the edge". It's completely different.
@@DannyYankou I've got both videos playing in exact sync with each other and they absolutely are the same. Its just the audio quality/location that's different. Sirius is recorded from in the crowd and this video is obviously direct from the soundboard. That's the only difference.
@@bentleyboy72 don't listen to them at the same time. Specifically, go to the part of the song at 2:49 where he says "I was just a little too close to the edge" and compare it to the Sirius stream. You'll notice the difference right away.

What’s with the vocal overdubs / auto tune / splicing of different vocal performances? We want the real thing… It almost sounds like you took the studio vocal track and imposed it on top. At 0:45 you can literally hear the doubling.

It sounds like Rashawn and buddy singing backup to me, not overdubs.
@@matthollis1270 Dave's vocals on the Sirius stream and the raw audience tape are identical. They're overdubbed or edited here, definitely. Compare them for yourself.
