I saw that you sped up the video to 5X, so I slowed it down to watch at the actual/normal speed you created this. I was then able to observe a few small tricks you did to achieve the effects you desired. Just beautiful! I do have a couple of questions though: You started with a canvas that was dark grey and I wondered as to your reasoning? And finally, would you please do a few more videos using glue gun techniques? I am sure that not only myself but many of your viewers would love to see more of this medium and your work as well. Many thanks for the inspiration and tutorial!
Hi, It's hard to adjust the brightness of my camera on white surface, that's why I just painted it dark grey, you don't need to do that. Of course I will make another one but it will take some time because first let me finish some of my pending projects. Thank you for coming to my channel.
Gorgeous!! Wonderful idea it just came out so beautiful. I’m going to try this with gold acrylic instead of beige and just use water instead of the kerosene.
You have such a steady hand with the glue gun! My lines usually end out squiggly or shaky. I really love the idea of using hot glue instead of modeling paste to create dimension in a painting!
I was thinking the same thing, but I realized, my bigger glue gun does not allow as much control as a smaller glue gun with smaller glue sticks. Next time, I am going to try to use both glue guns. The big one for the bulky fill in and the small one for the details.
Totally agree with Donna never seen such a magnificent piece of Art like that please leave a print out in the description so that we can copy the painting thank u million times for such idea
Omg. Just found your chanel and watched the floating thingo you crafted and now this. You are awesome. Never seen anything like this in my years of doing crafts eh..
Very cool, I bought a glue gun and loads of sticks ages ago, and forgot I had it, was looking for inspiration, and I love trees … you’re an incredible artist.. definitely subscribing 😆
Could do this on a piece of glass over a picture then just peel it off and glue it with more hot glue wherever you wanted. Lots of ideas for this kind of thing.
Que pasada guaooooooooo me ha encantado me gustaría uno así con playa palmera y luna espero ver uno asiiiiiii este me ha dejado con la boca abierta y lo he repetido ahora mismo 3 veces ole ole y oleeee Dios te bendiga
I am currently prepping my canvas, I'm going to try this using my colorshift paint. Awesome painting, thanks for sharing. Only question I have is how did you prep the canvas? I'm using my acrylic paints but the effect isn't quite there.
This is fabulous. Going to try this, I got a new glue gun and am ready. Watching these videos. Amazed. I subscribed, would love to be crafty UA-cam friends. Tfs
Your work is truly stunning, but I would not use the kerosene at all... May I ask you, what glue gun you used. Was it a high temp or low temp....and you say canvas board, would the glue not burn through it using so much in the same area?
skooterbird the kerosene works like mineral spirits would to remove the paint where they want the white to come through. Although I agree as to not using it.
Wow! I have never seen anything like this before! This was amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. Just Beautiful!
Thank you for coming to my channel.
yes! I m used to using wax to get this effect and layering over thick paint once dry, but I never thought of using my glue gun! new medium, genius.
всегда восхищаюсь фантазии людей! вот вроде ведь все так просто. а какой шедевр.
How neat! I've never seen this technique either. Definitely something I'd like to try. Thank you for sharing!

Absolutely beautiful, never imagined this could be done!
Absolutely mindblowing, I've done stuff to make texture with a glue gun, but this is a whole nother level. Fabulous work, to whomever the artist is.
this is outstanding!! So beautiful. Well Done!!
Thank you.

Très bien, très remarquables et mercis
Je vous remercie.
Love it
May I try this myself?
👌🏼🙏❤️so good
Thank you
I've always hated hot glue, is pretty useless and make things look cheap, but this is awesome, great idea 👌🏻
So beautiful! Question, did your hand hurt after using the glue gun for so long?
No. If it is hard to press trigger then let it rest it for some minutes, once it get hot enough then it press easily. Do the same every time.
@@HowtoArtist have you thought of using different colors? They catch light great.
Beautiful
Thank you.
I really enjoy this do you have a drawing to use as a stencil love it
Love this! Could you use acrylic paint to paint over the hot glue substrate?
Annie B
blonde lebanese jumping in. Lol. Yes you can use acrylics but need to cover the glue in gesso first so the paint adheres.
Thank you for sharing. Is beautiful ! But, would rubbing alcohol work instead of the kerosene. I'm not able to handle those fumes, myself.
Your work is truly stunning, but I would not use the kerosene at all... May I ask you, what glue gun you used. Was it a high temp or low temp....and you say canvas board, would the glue not burn through it using so much in the same area?

Lindo trabalho de textura. 😘
