FN buttons can be extremely useful. you can set one for the infinity perfect nightsky focus and the other one for a hyperfocus fixed distance that you use as standard for landscape (Eg. 1.5m - infinity at F11 for example).
Considering the only comparable lens would be the Nikkor Z 20/1.8 S 𝘢𝘯𝘥 both their MTF charts are very similar -- the Viltrox being ½** the cost of the Nikkor Z 20, along with being wider, makes it almost a no-brainer. Im willing to put up with vignetting -- which as you point out is easily corrected in editing -- for all the Pros this Viltrox lens does have. I shoot Astro often, I (& anyone else who does) never shoot a 1.8 lens at 1.8. You're stopping down to f2-2.2 & you're more than likely stacking or tracking shots. As well as doing calibration frames, which again would eliminate the vignetting. The ONLY thing stopping me from getting this lens is that Im hoping Sigma will launch their DG DN ART lenses for Z-mount soon & that their Sigma 20/1.4 or 14/1.4 will come to market first. **you can still find coupon codes that are valid for this lens & drop the price down to $533 (when it debuted you could get it for $505!).

Thank you. I'm on the fence about buying this lens and selling the 14-30, since f1.8 is better for interior photos.
