Would love a PC based version. Moving clips for quik app edits on the phone is limited by mobile storage and can be a slow process. Also need basic functions such as the ability to rotate videos from portrait to profile if the auto rotate on the camera didn't register.

You need to add separate audio trim for every clip. I would like to have music only in intro and outer clip

Can we trim before downloading? I've had clips take 10 min. I assume its because they're in 4k 60.
Yes, you can trim to whatever length you require, save as new clip and edit only that lenght clip instead of fully recorded video.
Does this not work with footage uploaded to the Quik cloud?

It doesn't work on videos that are larger than 4GB, how do I limit the size of GoPro 11 videos so they don't exceed 4GB for this highlight function to work?
There used to be an option to add your own highlight to your clips, looks like this is missing in the latest Android version. Looks like the option is available in this video though. There is only auto highlight option in the app and it is very awkward to use.
I'm glad you said this. I've been going nuts since yesterday trying to work out why I can no longer add manual highlights to the footage other than having to mess about with the trim feature which then makes it very hard to sync back to the music length. arghhhh
Really hope that Go pro re-enables this feature again.

All the Videos I've posted on Social Media till date have been edited using the GoPro Quik app 🙂

Quick's Auto Edit is awful!
Worst is not even being able to select the transition between clips.
Quik really sucks. Quik save movie file in itself occupying memory of your phone not on gopro cloud. And more serious problem is you can not open the movie file using your phone gallery app.
If you want edit or play the mobie file, you have to do down load again from Quik app to your phone gallery. THIS IS REALLY MEMORY SPACE WASTING and your time wasting
Edits play fine on my iPhone photo gallery, but ya you need a phone with alot of free storage. You are doing video editing; I wouldn't blame that on Quik.

After edit you can not export your video into mobile or share it in social media. Only a black screen gets exported. It's essentially a 49 euro scam.

App sucks, can't click and drag videos from my phone to reorder them like he does at 1:16. I have android and so my layout looks a bit different than this video. Frustrating, about to end my subscription and just do it in Corel video suite or Adobe.
This video is outdated. Gopro removed the hilights (highlights) as they were in previous versions 🤦♂️ GoPro = good cameras that crash & crap frustrating software.

Trying to make a long movie with Quik and Hero 11 is a joke and simply a piece of caca. You guys have to do far better.
