I like Niels setup they Red and White work well with the wood table and speaker stands. His setup is very similar to my own with the colors and the wood. Niels I have a lot of respect for people who put in the time and elbow grease to make their own desk, or refurbish. I built my own desk from scratch using yellow pine that I stained. The artwork is pretty cool as well.
Ed, how about you do a series where you're building a PC setup that subscribers voted on which parts goes in it and it can developed overtime until you reach the final state and showcase it in a video.

I laughed so hard when he said add some ‘stuff’ to show your personality, needs more spicing up. All these setups have no personality, they are all the same. Just different monitor backgrounds, rgb lites and some cheesy/tacky art piece centred on the wall

My cable management is the hardest thing to do while your restricted to 2 power strips. (one connected to the house power and one connected to that) It doesn’t move when you pull it. Doesn’t help I have a bedside table either.

I got some game consoles I keep in my room and I occasionally bring them to the living room to play with my family but I cannot buy another set of cables. Also, where is a good place to charge a laptop so you can easily plug and unplug without having to undo your cables or stick your hand in an awkward location?

Ed, any tips on how to make a desk/ entertainment setup symmetrical and how to tell if the spacing of the gear are laid out symmetrically? If I tried to put my monitor in the center of my desk, it would always be off center even if I think it looks centered (for example).

I feel like did a fantastic job but I would’ve put something to go along with the k on the wall shelf, and the cable management is pretty good for all the contestants but like Ed said the head phone and mouse and keyboard wires in number 4s setup could use some rethinking but I give him props for the originality and decorations, the multitude of colors that go along with the mood of the other guys set up is pretty good idea, the purple/white set up was also good and I loved the color choice and the way everything was handled
