Thanks for those nighttime shots. It helped me decide about not getting this light. I’d instead order another sp70 while it’s still available and with the new model out, the sp70 has had a huge price cut. It’s a superior light to the sp60 in every way unless you care about onboard charging or the electronic lockout.
The 70 is showing its age a little, but has a larger reflector, so does, slightly outperform the 60 (beam wise). Otherwise the 60 is smaller and very very close.
Strangers in the dark must be illuminated to ensure they aren’t approaching aggressively with their genitals exposed. Great review, I just ordered this light. First time ordering direct from Sofirn, fingers crossed.
I took them both out to try that - its close, the beam profiles are almost the same but the 70 just about sneaks ahead - I think its the larger head that helped despite the advertised output being lower. The dogsfine :)

ive seen comparisons and they both look to have the same output.
