A very good vid. Beamshots superb, nice places where you did this beautiful beamery. Good music too. And the Q8 Pro? All is very appealing only... The Q8 is a light with excellent throw and the Pro is more a SP36 Pro II. For me this light should have more throw. That would make it a real Q8 Pro
Thanks Carel! I have waited few days of heavy rainfall before I had the chance to do this beamshots real quick. Ive heard someone in the group with his SP36 and his Q8 Pro and he mentioned you can’t barely notice the difference in the throw, I dont know because I dont have the SP36 to compare. But you know how I enjoyed being lost around on any Anduril UI, hahaha
@@thegearbandit475 probably that groupmember is right. The Q8 Pro is indeed more or less a super SP36. The throw of the Q8 will be missed I am afraid. Of course the Pro has throw, 11.000lm gives the power for that. But it will heat up very fast, and then the light output is not so impressive anymore

Hi ma’am, umiinit po sya kapag naka babad sa turbo pero hindi naman po yung init na nakakapaso na sa kamay, imagine 11,000 lumens, pero po nag step down naman po sya after few minutes para hindi ma damage ang LED at circuit sa loob.
@@thegearbandit475 I understand that is the problem that all of them have when they exceed 5000 lumens, the damn step down, so far the only one that supports the continuous 4500lumens for more than 3 minutes is the Astrolux FT03 XHP 50.2, or the Sofirn Sp33 V3.0 supports 3500lumens continuous for more than 3 minutes. It is very difficult to get a powerful one that does not have a step down.

Excellent! I regret buying the sp36pro. If only I had known they would have usb c charging and 4 18650's in a Q8 pro soon
No worries, you SP36pro is a great light too, you can still spend time saving money to buy Q8 Pro.

How is this vs the Imalent MS03? The MS03 seems to have bigger LEDs but 2000 more lumen according to specs. It is nearly double the price as well.
Heat management goes better with this than the MS03, but I like the brightness from the MS03. but hands down for the runtime on the Q8 PRO.
