@@holdengamble its not about telling secret spots, its about reviewing the lakes on the tournament tour, what was pros and cons of bait,spawns, times of year,pressure, natural lakes vs non, tidal waters, structure, fishability, fish size, topography, etc..😐
On the real, I learn more in these videos than pretty much every other rate the baits. Three hammers giving out invaluable information. I want to see so many more. At the end when they talk about when to use them vs a crank bait is the stuff I need. GREAT INFO!
War Eagle is the sexiest spinner bait out there, I've been throwing it for ever. I love it
Can’t argue but it’s probably availability. Going to regular stores they stand out. I am guilty of it as well but they definitely are killer baits.

The War Eagle has a version called the Screaming Eagle. It's weighted at 1/2oz but it has a 3/8 profile. That's why the weight runs down the shank of the hook. It's the "burner" version. Put a trailer hook on it and BOOM!

I'm 100% with DC on that War Eagle. That bait is no joke. When I first heard about them, I didn't have as much confidence because it doesn't have eyes; however, I fish swift dirty water and river systems in Florida and the War Eagle is absolute fire for those Largemouth and Spots! 🔥The War Eagle Spot Remover is now my #1 spinnerbait just ahead of my old school Hank Parker chartreuse.

You boys are right on with your knowledge of spinnerbaits. One blade that is real sneaky is a “turtleback” blade. It’s a hybrid between a willow and colorado. And maybe take the skirt off the lure and throw a swimbait on it…
Those blades are actually called “olympic”. Turtleback is a slang up here in WI lol
I have so many War Eagles. They are 100% Largemouth catchers. Bigguns too. It's been my 2024 bait of choice so far. I'm usually a jerkbait guy for early pre spawners but my 1/2 Oz double willow War Eagle has been a straight performer for me so far this year. 10/10.
Them spinnerbaits are cute and all but if you want best of the best, get a Nichols Lures Pulsator or Catalyst. Any color you can think of plus any blade combination you want. Quality is the best hands down.

My lil sisters dad caught a 10lb 9oz largie on Caney bout 20 years ago or so. Think it was the record for the time. Biggest bass I've ever seen up close. I haven't fished it in years, but it's got some bigs. Keep KILLIN IT brothers!🤘🏻

The war eagle is hands down the best spinnerbait down south. DC knows what’s up. 9.0. Only down fall is that once you catch about 6 bass on it it’s ruined.
War eagle didn’t change the bait. It is a different spinner bait called a screamin eagle. It’s in a blue package. They still make the old one in the black package

I agree on the rubberband on the Santone spinnerbaits. It's the same story on their jigs. But......... I tie the skirt on when I take them out of the package and they are money. Good video guys.

1/2 War Eagle in a cream color caught me my PB. 7.3. To this day it’s tied on no matter condition. Only thing that changes is color.

I pour my own spinner baits. I 100% use lighter wire on half ounce to 3/4 ounce heads. It catches fish. Like MD said better vibration. There’s no way war eagle or other bait companies can charge 7-10 bucks and have bass destroy and bend the bait up. Unfortunately fishermen would rather have the bait last longer…but it’s about catching bass, so if it puts more fish in the boat that’s the plan. I don’t hand tie because I put the skirts on in the boat in case I want to change colors. I love these show formats please keep them up! Good luck to all of you the rest of this season. If any of you 3 would like to try one of mine out let me know.
Y’all need to check out 6th sense Divine premium spinner baits. They have great hardware. Not only eyeballs but gill plates too. Great colors. Perfect size wire. Great hook. My favorite spinner bait !! I only wish they had more to choose from. That’s my only complaint.

MDJ, Bill Lewis used to make a popper called the spitfire. It didn't walk that great but the sound and size were perfect for pre-spawn bass that just moved up. It had that old school rat-l-trap sound. Can you please get Bill Lewis to either bring it back or get them to make a new popper with the same rat-l-trap sound? A walking bait with that sound would be dope too. *Edit: the OSP high pitcher is one of the best spinnerbaits I've ever thrown.

No Strike King??!!! Come on MDJ.... You can't talk spinnerbaits without strike king. Their tour grade spinnerbaits are great. Also, Nichols makes great spinnerbaits. I'm an Alabama grad... I WILL NOT have war eagle in my boat. I feel dirty for saying the name. 🤢 😂 LOVE THE FORMAT! I've learned what pros look for in a bait.

I believe only the Screaming Eagle model of war eagle has the weight below the skirt. Smaller hook and much harder to put a trailer on that little dude for sure! 13:00

I take the Covert spinnerbait and I wire tie the skirt and cut the rubber band off, the skirt sits on a rubber bushing so when you wire tie them it doesn’t cut the skirt

I dnt know the quality difference between top end spinnerbaits. I have used the war eagles at Walmart I have had the Jimmy Huston but my go to is just the 1/2 oz sexy shad kvd at Walmart it is one that if you caught a few bigs on it your better off tying a new one on. All my fish over 8 have came on this besides one big chatterbait hog
