In this video, we'll go over the history of the Hebrew Bible and the book of Genesis in the Bible.
    Excerpt:
The Hebrew Bible is the more academic term referring to the general
collection of books which both Jews and Christians hold in common as

We get glimpses into which denomination put these videos together when they make statements such as "The Sabbath Day is the Lord's Day." The only major spinoff of Christianity that says that is the Seventh Day Adventists. Every other branch of Christianity accepts the first day of the week as "the Lord's Day" as that's the day on which the Lord rose from the dead.

Regarding Genesis 1:2 and translating "spirit" as "wind", is a serious mistake. You are correct in stating that many elements of Genesis are a polemic against the false gods of the nations around Israel at that time but the word wind should almost certainly be translated as Spirit. The reason is that the word swept is not the right translation either. The word swept is the Hebrew word for hover in the sense of brooding like mother hens protecting her eggs and observing potential threats. So rather than a sea of chaos and false gods fighting on the primordial earth, God's Holy Spirit, created the "great deep" (tehom in Hebrew) showing that it's merely impersonal water that is necessary and preliminary to everything else about to be created. This interpretation is further supported by Moses subsequent statements that the sun, moon and stars are merely impersonal things created and controlled by the One true God (rather than being the Egyptian gods Ra and Horus).

Why do you use BCE and CE?

BCE = BEFORE CHRISTIAN ERA. CE= CHRIST ERA.

Actually, the meaning of (B)CE is (Before) Common Era.
The does not mean Christ or Christian. It's an alternative, non-religious way of speaking dates, instead of "Before Christ" and "Anno Domini (year of the Lord)".

A workable creation theory splits Genesis 2's creation account from Genesis 1's. In other words, whereas, Genesis 1 shows God creating animals and then humans, Genesis 2 shows God creating man then, because man is lonely, He creates animals and then eventually woman.
This works so well because it explains where Cain's wife came from. There was an existing population of humans who lived outside the Garden of Eden for (perhaps) thousands or even millions of years before Adam sinned.
So, when Adam and Eve are kicked out of the Garden, they joined the rest of humanity in the struggle for existence on planet earth.
