Are there nurses who work in the radiology department? If so, what kind of tasks do they usually do?
+Coral Cleopatra Thanks for your question, Coral! Yes, there are nurses who work in the radiology department. Radiology nurses helps with procedures by setting up the room, administering sedation, monitoring vitals signs, educating patients are their families about the procedure & recovery, and discharge patients after a procedure. In addition, they start IVs, administer other medications such as imaging agents, collect patient history & allergy information, and are responsible for using equipment to run diagnostic tests. It is a very interesting field to go into. I hope that helps :)
+RegisteredNurseRN yes it does thank you very much!!! Your videos are great! :)
+Coral Cleopatra You're very welcome :) Thank you for watching my videos...I appreciate it!

Oh, I noticed you don't have an internist nurse as an option. why?
+Cari Baez Thank you Cari for your question. There are a lot of specialties in nursing and the list in really endless. Sarah and I wanted to cover the most popular. Internist nurse is an excellent specialty to go into.

I'm an occupational health nurse in a factory. I would never have thought this was the role for me. The diverse population and multiple languages is challenging and exciting.
I like trauma and internal medicine (:
and cardiology too.
+Cari Baez Great fields of nursing :)
