Thanks for the great interview. Andy has been such an inspiring athlete, for those following the sport. He stood out with his atypical build for the distances he ran, that in theory would have given him a disadvantage, but always he showed great determination, strength, speed and endurance.
Thank you for the interview, very inspirational and insightful. Such a shame he didn't manage to show his full potential in the marathon. His experience of 2013 is so sad tp hear, but a true reflection of our (poor) sport.
Thanks for a great interview. Followed Andy for years. Great runner. Even more amazing was how fast he was with his muscular frame. Great hearing his personal story and perspective. 👍
Fascinating insight to Andy’s career, clearly a hard working talented runner but frustrated by injuries, he still ran some exceptional quick times with championship medals, thanks for the video 🇬🇧
Cheers Shaun appreciate you watching and commenting. A remarkable running career by Andy - someone who was not just gifted but also very hard working and achieved a lot.
Andy is /was a smashing runner , always loved watching him in races. 130 mile weeks😅 that mileage has to catch up with your body . Amount of good amateurs that get broke up from this sport is scary
