Yeah, but he also was speaking as if tyson fury actually did some training & at least took it somewhat seriously. My support for francis throughout his decisions never wavered & was rooting for him, so im not some biased hater whatsoever. But anyone with a little common sense and reasoning, will know fury rolled outta bed for this fight and certainly wasnt there to embarass francis. I mean, lets be fucking real here and put all biases aside. Just like the floyd-conor fight, the floyd logan paul fight, these fights only can continue to be possible if they are "competitive". And for fury and floyd, these fights are nothing but money grabs. The only thing i take out of this fight, is francis passed the eye test and his stamina was fairly impressive. But for anyone to say boxing lost and thinks francis is on furys level are insane. And i havent fucked with boxing for over 15 years & am a huge ufc fan, so again no bias towards boxing.
Anywhere from 7-3 Fury to 5-5 Francis (10-8 round) was reasonable. Francis was insanely impressive, but the event made people give him pity rounds like Mayweather-McGregor.
Francis won round 3 with the knock down. Fancis won round 4 fury was still shaking off the knockdown/ getting his bearing back. Fancis also won round 7,8 and 10. An most fury only tied and thats a reach. Fury didnt out box francis and didnt do come back. He had fury on his heels the whole fight and fury couldnt get off. Fury was getting his with the bigger shots and was even getting hurt and didnt hurt francis once. Fury honestly lost, and i predicted him to win.

Ciryl beat Francis imo too. Had he not went for that stupid heel sub and gave francis top position at end, he wins. Ciryl won every second of the standup in that fight. It's funny how Fury fans are so quick to dismiss circumstances, conditions, preparation, etc. when it comes to his win over Klitschko, saying that it was Fury's brilliance alone that shut him down and made him look ordinary, but they make every excuse under the sun for this fight. Ngannou had the perfect game plan in that he sat back and waited to counter Fury. He was incredibly disciplined, almost to a fault, in following this plan. It forced Fury to shift his weight forward over his front foot to attack, and meant he couldn't do his usual trick of leaning back to dodge punches. Fury also couldn't hurt, or even really phase, Francis, so Ngannou could let his hands go almost every exchange - Fury even desperately threw an illegal elbow to try and hurt him but it still had no effect, he should have at least lost a point for that. And Francis had enough power to hurt Fury. He knocked him down once with just a check hook, and he buzzed him a couple of other times in the fight. Some of those body shots looked like they visibly hurt Fury a bit too. And most obviously he took away Fury's weight bullying. Fury looked perplexed as to what to do. That's partly why his punch output was so low, he didn't know what to throw. The only thing that worked for him was sitting back and throwing his jab at Ngannou's guard. Ngannou took away all of Fury's usual advantages and left him looking ordinary. You can make a case for Fury doing just enough to secure the win, but this fight exposes one possible game plan for a fighter like AJ or Zhang to beat him. I suspect Usyk will expose Fury in other ways

Ngannou might just save Boxing, he could become a bigger Boxing star than MMA star now. Imo Ngannou won that fight, look at the damage on Fury's face a day later, black eye, cuts and bruises, and he got KD. The only thing Ury did better was jab and move, Ngannou landed the bigger shots and drove the pace.
I'm happy for Francis and proud of what he's achieved. The implications of this new reality hits a lot harder seeing John get emotional talking about it. Go Francis!

Idk why everyone was sleeping on Ngannou. Granted I didn’t think he would put together such a technical performance against Fury, but I thought there was a good chance Fury would get KOd. Considering the size of Ngannou and the fact Ngannou has faced way better competition than the majority of opponents high lvl boxers face. Plus Ngannous always been known to have an iron chin so I didn’t imagine Fury being able to KO him easily

Any negative comments I made about Francis was about his ego. I'm no fan of White, but Ngannou's demands were ridiculous. Even ONE FC and BKFC thought he was ridiculous. I never really cared what he did with his career I was looking at it as a person being I ungrateful to the people who helped get him to where he is now. Honestly I'm bored of him and I hope this ends the constant talking about someone who is in a C league MMA organization (PFL) and just took blood money from Saudi Arabia to help sanitize their image.

It's funny how Fury fans are so quick to dismiss circumstances, conditions, preparation, etc. when it comes to his win over Klitschko, saying that it was Fury's brilliance alone that shut him down and made him look ordinary, but they make every excuse under the sun for this fight.
Ngannou had the perfect game plan in that he sat back and waited to counter Fury. He was incredibly disciplined, almost to a fault, in following this plan. It forced Fury to shift his weight forward over his front foot to attack, and meant he couldn't do his usual trick of leaning back to dodge punches. Fury also couldn't hurt, or even really phase, Francis, so Ngannou could let his hands go almost every exchange - Fury even desperately threw an illegal elbow to try and hurt him but it still had no effect, he should have at least lost a point for that. And Francis had enough power to hurt Fury. He knocked him down once with just a check hook, and he buzzed him a couple of other times in the fight. Some of those body shots looked like they visibly hurt Fury a bit too.
And most obviously he took away Fury's weight bullying. Fury looked perplexed as to what to do. That's partly why his punch output was so low, he didn't know what to throw. The only thing that worked for him was sitting back and throwing his jab at Ngannou's guard.
Ngannou took away all of Fury's usual advantages and left him looking ordinary. You can make a case for Fury doing just enough to secure the win, but this fight exposes one possible game plan for a fighter like AJ or Zhang to beat him. I suspect Usyk will expose Fury in other ways

Ngannou might just save Boxing, he could become a bigger Boxing star than MMA star now. Imo Ngannou won that fight, look at the damage on Fury's face a day later, black eye, cuts and bruises, and he got KD. The only thing Ury did better was jab and move, Ngannou landed the bigger shots and drove the pace.

Idk why everyone was sleeping on Ngannou. Granted I didn’t think he would put together such a technical performance against Fury, but I thought there was a good chance Fury would get KOd. After hearing all the negative comments for the longest time it is really cool to hear the well earned and thoroughly deserved praise for Francis. The sports achievement side is impressive enough, but somehow, this dude managed to negotiate his way through an absolute shark tank of people who hold a black belt in getting as much cash for themselves as humanly possible....and tapped them out as well!!!
Any negative comments I made about Francis was about his ego. I'm no fan of White, but Ngannou's demands were ridiculous. Even ONE FC and BKFC thought he was ridiculous.
I never really cared what he did with his career I was looking at it as a person being I ungrateful to the people who helped get him to where he is now. Honestly I'm bored of him and I hope this ends the constant talking about someone who is in a C league MMA organization (PFL) and just took blood money from Saudi Arabia to help sanitize their image.

Every single person who talked shit about Francis for leaving the UFC, who ran the 'fumbled the bag' narrative into the ground, who said he would never get his boxing deal, who said Fury was going to hurt him, embarrass him, destroy his value...
