The Punk just likes Grasso, over here being disingenuous about Shev. It's not as if her thoughts & comments weren't shared by the mma community. For instance, that she was winning the 1st fight & up on the scorecards until she made a mistake, spinning & giving up her back then getting choked out. Also that she would have won the 2nd fight & her belt back had Mike Bell not scored R5 a 10-8 instead of a 10-9, for which he was benched for. There was nothing wrong with her pointing this out, just like many people did & to say u dislike her for it seems disingenuous.
Hey guys, great to watch you again (and great event review oc) Regarding Diego's It's a tic or post-trauma mania, due to Diego had experienced a near-death situation being a child, where he got a pointy stick or a pointy pole spiked on his neck He told it in an interview (after Ige) one reporter asked him and recalled the event for the people 33:00

I had it 3-2 also, the score is close because its a flaw in the scoring. O’Malley won rounds 3 and 5 but they were super close. Every round Merab won was a dominant 10-9.
So great remark Jeremy in the beginning about Shawn! When Shawn came out, I looked at his face and immediately said, "Uh oh, something is wrong, he looks like he has already lost? He looked very scared to me, maybe anxious. He definitely was not himself. I don't think it necessarily mattered but he came in looking like he new he was gonna lose! Did anyone else feel this way?
I am not a fan of Shawn BTW. I think merab is a super fun fighter to watch. However I believe Shawn new he was gonna lose. I think he new and couldn't shake it.
Rodriguez v Osbourne - The right guy won the card but 2 of those judges gave Rodriguez 10-8 in the 2nd. Thats absolute insanity and corruption on that. No way in odin did that 2nd round even come remotely close to 10-8.
I don’t see anyone talking about WHY is was such a late card. Riyahd season was the title sponsor and the main card aired in Saudi Arabia from 8am-11am Sunday morning.
My opinion on the card. It was a great card. The suga fight sucked because he looked shitty. Merab put in some work though. I didn’t find it a “snoozer”, but I didn’t find it boring or shitty at all. I ran to the store real quick after round 2 of the co main. It sounds like there were some good sub attempts, but a lot of the same. Overall though man there were some fucking fights on this card
Gsp did the same thing late in his career to win.I didn't feel like Grasso did enough to force the situation and couldn't see Valentina should have won the second fight and she didn't let 3 slip away.
MAX didn't take the fight, not Chandler. (Because Max was on vacation.) Also, there's an interview with Megan talking about the neck thing with Lopes. Get your facts straight.

Diego Lopes needs to slow down now, taking too many fights in short notice, that probably affects his stamina. Now that he is on top,he should fight until next year and work on his holes and stamina.
I bet a lot of the renovations to the apex end up more like the sphere inside. Dana said they had to spend a lot of money on installing the lighting/microphones/cameras in the sphere. I wonder if not having the normal lighting fixture goes away in the future
The money of being a champ is not that much if you are boring. Merab was funny at first online, now is just like dealing with an annoying kid. Then when he fights his fights are boring. He won't make any money unless he fights guys like Sean, Henry. Merab and Umar wouldn't even sell 50k PPV so what money is he going to make? These are facts, not just my opinion. The UFC needs to implement knees to the face on a grounded fighter like One Championship does. They should probably add some rules of standing fighters if 1 minutes goes buy and you haven't done anything significantly the end your opponent. That might change some of the ridiculousness that we have seen lately in the UFC.
Lets fucking go! Amazing night of fights! I truly loved the whole event snd thought the sphere translated well to tv. Truly amazing. Yeah the last two fights were not the best. But overall. Just an amazing night
I do think Sean looked way different in walk out (lost vs in the moment) but I won't take away from Merab as his pace is crazy difficult to deal with. It's a tough fight for anyone.
That throat touching that Diego does is some kind of habit that he has. He did it against Dan too. He for whatever reason touches his throat constantly. I think it’s just a habit for whatever reason. He didn’t get punched there on nothing. You will see the same thing in his previous fight against Dan. Something someone has to ask Diego.
Omalley coming out with his hood on was a big red flag. He walked out like he just came back to work from his lunch break, and found out his turtle died. He was super flat footed and seemed almost irritated.
It did look cool but after hearing Dana say they were never supposed to be there until MGM screwed them over, it kind of lost its special mystic. I think he should’ve kept that quiet. Ticket prices discounted almost 80% on fight week which is unprecedented. It felt like an event UFC just wanted done with. Allegedly UFC lost about 15 million to do the event. that’s why it’s a one and done.
Bcuz of Vals win last night, it can no longer b said that there has been nobody at 155 or lighter to win a championship fight. Last night she became the first to ever do it...
Regarding Diego touching his throat, I think this started from the Dan I’ge fight. Dan punched him on the throat and ever since then he has been doing that. If you go back to the Dan fight you can see it
I think the biggest thing i notice, is Sean O'Malley DOESNT HAVE An EFFECTIVE JAB. I never notice before but the majority of his attacks start with that cross leaving him over extended, and open for the takedown.
O’malley v Cejudo. Sean went on Cejudo’s podcast for the sole purpose of making him look bad and Cejudo interrupted a post fight interview with a reporter to call him out on a prior fight. They both don’t like each other

Bellator Champion Series Co-main and main event were really awesome
The Punk just likes Grasso, over here being disingenuous about Shev. It's not as if her thoughts & comments weren't shared by the mma community. For instance, that she was winning the 1st fight & up on the scorecards until she made a mistake, spinning & giving up her back then getting choked out. Also that she would have won the 2nd fight & her belt back had Mike Bell not scored R5 a 10-8 instead of a 10-9, for which he was benched for. There was nothing wrong with her pointing this out, just like many people did & to say u dislike her for it seems disingenuous.
if u don’t like it don’t watch MMA go watch boxing casuals
Josh crying about shevchenko wrestling to a win. Yet….will suck off any dagestani wrestling as domination. Foh
Hey guys, great to watch you again (and great event review oc)
Regarding Diego's
It's a tic or post-trauma mania, due to Diego had experienced a near-death situation being a child, where he got a pointy stick or a pointy pole spiked on his neck
He told it in an interview (after Ige) one reporter asked him and recalled the event for the people

Corey vs Sean O Malley is the fight I’d love to see in December or Jan
Bro if ufc wants Sean to make some huge comeback they not gonna do that fight Cory will take Sean down over n over too like yan did plus Sean won’t do well against a guy as tall if not taller than him he’s always fought these short guys where he can use his length from the outside I always thought q Cory fight was a nightmare fight for him and never thought the ufc would allow their prize pupil fight someone like him, u must be a casual
You’re right it wasn’t a 10-8 it actually should’ve been a 10-7 that’s the more accurate score, u must be a casual
Was expecting to hear Big Jon’s take on Herb Deans performance in the main!
Gsp did the same thing late in his career to win.I didn't feel like Grasso did enough to force the situation and couldn't see Valentina should have won the second fight and she didn't let 3 slip away.
The internet is crying today
MAX didn't take the fight, not Chandler. (Because Max was on vacation.) Also, there's an interview with Megan talking about the neck thing with Lopes. Get your facts straight.
Honestly, it just sucks that so many "fans" will just move on with 0 appreciation for how coo of an experience that whole show was
I’ve been watching mma since pride before ufc bought then plus k-1 I’ve watched every subsequent organization since I watched josh beat giblert live I never really heard anyone being called a casual for having some stupid views I heard josh call people casual’s a couple years ago on this show now I’ve been hearing it everywhere and can’t stop calling people casual’s I just say it no matter what it’s kinda like a tick, u must be a casual

20:42 Big John tries to show off he knows big legal terms "voir dire" but he doesn't know how to pronounce it. 🤣

Great to hear from you guys this morning!!! I only cared about the last 2 UFC fights and split on the result I wanted. Oh well...
Everyone was walking out there for the fiest time tbf.
Facts
Everyone send me five bucks so we can cover Josh's betting loss (250 on Sugar). How
much is 5 into 250.
I do think Sean looked way different in walk out (lost vs in the moment) but I won't take away from Merab as his pace is crazy difficult to deal with. It's a tough fight for anyone.
How about Merab kissing sugas neck 😂
They talked about it in one interview, projecting the whole fight on the screen was distracting and didnt translate well over TV.
Sphere was awesome. Looked cool on tv as well.
RE: Schevchenko - Josh is forgetting she ended up 4 rounds in dominant position (3 back takes, 1 crucifix).
O’malley v Cejudo. Sean went on Cejudo’s podcast for the sole purpose of making him look bad and Cejudo interrupted a post fight interview with a reporter to call him out on a prior fight. They both don’t like each other
And I think it can headline
Best mma podcast!
@6:25 awww already making excused for Sean lMao 😂 now it’s his walkout… it’s OK YOU WERE WRONG
He knew what he was walking into is why he looked like that
@@partridgepimp3363the vibe I got was Sean was trying to take it all in. I didn’t get a nervous vibe from him at all.
@@partridgepimp3363Dana did say they did like 4 rehearsals. Supposedly costed a million bucks each time! I’m sure the crowd made a difference but yeah the fighters knew what to expect for sure
I don’t get how the co main was boring it was grappling heavy and had decent sub attempts. Gsp did what Val did so much and jones and usman just hold the position and burn the clock not the most entertaining but works
Diego did the same thing in his ige fight. Kept touching his throat they asked him about it and he said he wasn’t sure. In the post fight press conference when he fought ige
Diego has touched his throat in the last 3 fights for sure i seen it again in the ufc 300 card and dan ige
Its a tick. You can see lopez do the same thing in his fight vs Ige
Watch Lopes's other fights he touches his throat often.
As a bricklayer im sure i know more about fighting than Josh thompson he goes on for five mins telling how he is giving us some inside scoop and he just literally states the obvious and spends to long doing it
Sarcasm
Like others have said, Lopez has done the throat thing every single fight.
Ortega's problem is he only using his face as defense thats the only defense he has
Good for Merab, he did it.Maybe Sean should have watched more film.
Merab didnt allow sean to get into rhythm, thats why he looked so flat, merab drained suga so quick, suga didnt have the energy to throw a hard punch.
I think Valentina did what she had to do when I don't think it was a horrible way to win cuz honestly look at the way khabib used to fight very similar he would take people down and hold them and yeah he won't ground and pound but sometimes he was his old people there but they couldn't do nothing very similar fighting style for a lot of people. It can be boring but I thought it was a fight that she had to win and she did what she had to do
Lol Merab vs Umar. Let the great bantamweight striker exodus begin. 145 gonna be 🔥 next year. Good luck Figgy.
Umar is much more a striker than grappler his first martial art way before wrestling was taekwondo it’s just he has amazing wrestling because he’s a nurmagomedshapirov, u must be a casual
@@meatrocket6979 Umar is well rounded, would never classify him as just a striker. Not who I am talking about, calm down sparky.
Cory vs Sean will not b the exciting fight we once hoped for. The new cory is wrestling heavy. It's going to b sean trying to defend takedowns the whole time with a tiny bit of striking.
Diego got cut by rebar when young and the scar gets itchy when he sweats. Per his manager on the Anik and Florian podcast
Sphere money should have gone to reall fights
Such as?
“She got out grappled in the first fight. To the point where she got her back taken and lost the position and lost the fight”. 😒 No. That’s definitely not what happened.
I didn't see the pay per view. I have watched every high light out there. I never really seen O'Malley hurt him. I seen Dvalishvili take him down seemed. Like about anytime he really put his mind to it. Again I didn't see the entire fight. I couldn't wait until the new Weighing In came out to see what the guys were saying. Sometimes you just have to wonder what fight the judges were watching.
Really surprised you guys never mentioned Grasso’s atrocious takedown defense. The ability to take Grasso down has been one major advantage for Shevchenko through the first two fights. Did she just not train takedown defense or what?
Bro shevchenko watched the Esparza fight a million times and thought that’s the way to get a guaranteed win grasso wrestling is terrible, u must be a casual
@@meatrocket6979 Why wouldn’t Shev attack Grasso at her weakness? I’m not a “casual.” I’m been watching MMA since Chuck Liddell was light heavyweight champion in the UFC.
So funny that they praised Herb Dean as ‘the best ref in the game’ at the start of the fight, and by the 5th round all they’re doing is criticising how he’s reffing the fight 😂
Sometimes the commentary is awful with them trying to push an opinion and then minutes later they’re tearing their own opinions apart 😂😂
“It was boring” yes it was. Just like every Merab fight
John thinking with the wrong head on that Grasso fight
John: what’d you think of the sphere?
Josh: unimpressed, I prefer Soviet Russia and being surrounded by oligarchs
I feel bad the main and co main didn't live up to expectations, sick venue tho.
Herb Dean is an awful ref.
I don't understand how merab can win a entire round..Sean lands one kick in the stomach. Merab shows it hurt. And Sean wins that round
Josh observed some foot-to-hoo-hoo action
The throat touch is a tick. He said it after the Dan fight. He said it in the post fight,.
