Yep - it only took the PD / Sheriff's Dept. over 17 min and nearly 20 miles of highway to decide to PIT - in the middle of DT knoxville. They had plenty of time and open space outside of the city limits to take him out prior to him hitting a very crowded city. Stray bullets could have easily struck pedestrians / innocent motorists. I live in Knoxville, so I know the area well. From the starting point of the video until where he was hit with the PIT, 95% of it is rural. Yet, they waited until he hit the city to decide to move on him? Then, it takes nearly 14 cops to take them into custody? More like everyone wanted a piece of the action lolol. The PIT was executed well, but they shouldn't have waited so long to engage.

Also, to the officers that quickly go from chase mode to rescue mode, that one officer shoulders his rifle and runs to get a trauma kit to help out the bad guys. Great job LEO's!

You don't even know if that was the murder suspect just because they said they were chasing a murder suspect doesn't mean it was actually him , if you really look at the words , maybe because the cop said when he drove by it looked like the murder suspect , but what if it's not him , maybe the driver knew he didn't do anything wrong and he didn't want to pull over because people also think that way , and the text did not say let the cops were shot at first, the text don't say much of anything really all except where they were chasing somebody they wanted to talk to that look like somebody was actually said in the video by the cop, he said he looked like as he drove past.
Did anyone comment on the shear PERFECTION OF THE BADASS 👮🏽♂️ that tapped his car& turned it so perfectly before getting out of the way. That was so AWESOME!!!
The chase should've been 17 minutes shorter as the cop that picked him up at the start of the video had the perfect opportunity to pit him on the on-ramp. No other cars around. A lower speed. Could have ended things quickly.

Cops pushed the situation. They should know they are dealing with unstable, emotional people. Their aggressive actions creates the violence. Follow at a reasonable distance, don't make a move, just keep following. The government has all the resources in the world- they could easily have waited til the guy ran out of gas instead of pushing him Into a confrontation. The cops did what they had to inorder to stop him and he decided to pull a gun, and while talking about him pulling a gun let's bring up the high chance that if he ran out of gass he could be in highly populated area and take someone at gun point to try and get away and the possibility of others being caught in the cross fire of a idiot with a gun shooting at police and what do you know that would mean more innocent people would get hurt or killed because they let him keep going instead of stopping him.
