Thankyou so much for the time you've spent doing this video and rebuild, i had to do a head gasket on my friends triton and the information i got from your video's was top notch, ive always been a hands on diy guy from working in my brother in laws garage since i was 12 but you cant know every engine and how different engines are put together, thankyou again for sharing your knowledge and your experience for all the enthusiasts out there that do their own work and if i could give a 5 thumbs up at once i would, Regards Tony
I watched from video 1 and it is the best video. I have a Mitsubishi Challenger that needs an engine overhaul. It is Automatic so I am assuming this set of videos will apply. The engine is 4D56U.
no worries & thanks, hopefully worth a couple beers ! beer link is in description and send as friend or they take a fee. cheers faq.out-club.ru/download/pajero_sport_2008/maintenance/Service_Manual_2009_2011/2011/index_M1.htm
Thanks for the video series on this motor.. what does a rebuild like this cost approx if I may ask? PS: Have one MN sitting with similar symptoms and due to bad experiences with the shops (even dealer) in the area want to know what is broken on mine before I give it in - your video will help me with diagnosing it - I doubt I'll be able to repair it myself, just want to avoid to be told all sorts of stuff and being taken to the cleaners.
@@YepThatsIt no, I don't want a quote, I just wanted to know what this rebuilt does/did roughly cost to have an idea. I'm located in FNQ, I won't be able to get my car moved South to get it repaired. Thanks
Great video mate. Quick question, how come you fired it up before connecting turbo/intercooler pipes? Was there a specific reason (prevent instant start-up) to get more oil circulation first? Thanks, have learnt alot watching your vids

I have just completed a top end rebuild as my head gasket failed. Fired her up today and she sounds like a bag of nails. Maybe belt slipped a tooth?
