Chose Dentistry if you had tons of money with you and had passion otherwise never take dentistry just because you can't get MBBS.
Chances are more that you might strongly regret in future
REALITY IS ALWAYS BITTER....I thought I chose vet or bams/bhms

SIr 18 साल बहुत होते है । उसके बाद पता नही क्लिनिक चले या नही । नही चला तो ।वो तो मर ही जायेगा । मेरे यहाँ पर sir बहुत ऐसे डेंटिस्ट है जो शिर्फ़ ओर शिर्फ़ काम सीख कर क्लिनिक खोल लिया । और इतना मस्त चल रहा है कि लोग MDS के पास जाना कम उसके पास जाना ज्यादा करते है । sir कुछ लक की भी बात होती है

harsh reality of dentistry in India .
I n the 1980's very few dental colleges in India , also the ratio was like one dentist to ten MBBS doctors at that time .
So there was lot of demand and Dentists were making good money back then.
Later things got worse and Dental council gave permission for many private and government dental colleges, this caused over saturation of dentists in India. Now the situation is grim , almost every major road in city or town has more dentists than Barber shops , so now the dentists are fighting for survival . Those dentists who had inherited dental clinics are better positioned to survive or those with ancestral properties or those with very good skills as dentist will survive becos at the end of the day the dentist also as family to feed and it is getting tougher each day
Don't choose this field no jobs do clinic with lakhs of rupees and wait for patients 😅

Do Nursing, Physiotherapy, Homeopathy or even Ayurveda instead, best is the MBBS.
My relative gave 5.5 lakh for homeopathic seat. He didn't join bds

Sir ... I know you're trying to be realistic. But try to be optimistic next time. Spread positivity and be confident about the path you've choosed.
You see sometimes positivity can be extremely deceptive, so it would be wiser to spread harsh negative reality than fake positivity

What r u saying bro...in our locality simple bds doctors r earning in lakhs from their clinic..thy dont feel a need of govt job...but yeah hardwork mattrs everywhere and in every profession whether it's early or late..
@@thakurthakur7650 So in dentistry there isn't enough hard work already. Everyone is hardwork but every one aren't rich. So by this logic rikhewala, tea staller, workers , majdoors , farmers never work hard in their life thats why they are poor. And only anil ambani, mukesh ambani mehul chauksi , salman khan working day and night to earn that amout

I know so many actors who are earning thousands times more than dentist
I also know many business man who are earning way more than dentist
Even i know pakorawala , momos wala who earning are in lackhs still more than dentist

He is talking about reality of 95% of dentist not those 5% of dentist who might make fortune and those are in every feild.
Even in my batch 60-70% of BDS student left denistry due to lackh of money and scope.
Know i also know 1 or 2 students who might had very great future
even chaiyawala is pm ....so why not bds can be nxt ambani

depending upon colleges, mostly 40-70k or in aiims 90-1 lakh pr month
