I miss all the amazing Cali food! Shout out to you meeting my dad back in September and taking pics with him and your van! Your videos help me feel connected with the city I grew up in and seeing all the streets and familiar shops around town bring me much happiness. Much love from his daughter in Spokane, WA!
So exciting to see that Nixon and Ovita are expanding their business to include our hometown of Whittier. We've been fans of Stacks from their very beginning in Dana Point where we've lived for many years. Love your channel, Bobby! Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🎄
@@sharonwhelanCALI thank you Sharon. Yes, they have a winner in their hands. Very happy to have this one in Whittier. Thank you for the kind words. It’s means a lot 🙏🏼
I am so excited that Aloha Stacks opened in Whittier!!! I have driven to Cerritos several times to eat their delicious food!!! I can’t wait to eat the Ube Pancakes in my own hometown. 😋
We will definitely give them a try; the portions do look like enough to share too. I already shared this video with my husband and along with your post on FB. When he arrives back from his business trip, he is now looking forward to giving this place a try too! We appreciate you for letting us know! Keep up the great work you do! Peace. ☮
Thanks for the video! My wife and I went there for lunch and everything was delicious! We'll definitely be heading back! Also, been going to the 300 bowl coffee shop in La Habra twice a week from your other video! That place is outstanding as well!
My spot is in Alhambra at the Hawaiian Pancake Factory off Valley and the 710 going towards Fremont. Loco Moco Hamburger Steak with Macadamian Custard Pancakes are my favorite. If I’m ever in Whittier I’ll give it a shot. It looks like this restaurant is at the Quad.
I think I want to try it but I do not like Coconut anything at all. When I lived and worked in Hawaii everyone thought I was crazy (but they were never fed by my grandma who thought Coconut was the best)...
@ I don't think the bbq place has loco moco mainly beef ribs chicken maybe fish? There's a place in Torrance called the loft. If you know what saimin is kind of like top ramen but better. I order a huge bowl of that didn't think I could finish it but I did. Later on thought something bad might happen after eating so much; I don't care it was worth it!!😂
@@MyWhittierTV those looked pretty good. I wonder if they have spam; better yet Portuguese sausage. That's real authentic food. Lau lau which is pork like when they cook the pig in the ground for Hawaiian luau. The only thing I won't try is poi. To me it reminds me of you know that paste they used in grade school; there's always that one kid that ate paste that's what it makes me think of
lived in Whittier now 12 years in Hawaii - so glad to see Whittier peeps love Hawaiian Food
Yes. I was actually surprised with the overwhelming support of this spot. Pretty cool.
Thank you for sharing this. 👍👍👍👍
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Let me know how it goes.
This is the spot!!! I know that there are a couple choices for Hawaiian style food in the city but this is legit! Thanks for serving the community.
I agree man. Thank you for the comment

What menu option do you think you would get here at Aloha Stacks? The pancakes were really, really nice! Wow. Let me know what you would order.
What’s your sugar level after that. Looks good. BUT
I disclose that I go to my doctor. I’m good thx for asking though.
