Montoya's also has a drink called The Screech, named after the character from Saved by the Bell. That drink is excellent! ToM's TaCos: I believe started in Anaheim the owner changed locations to Torrance.
Obi, I randomly stumbled upon your thumbnail and 'South Bay, CA' caught my attention. I moved to the South Bay over 7 years ago and live about a half-mile away from Tom's Tacos. I've never eaten there before, but drive by it to grocery shop at Von's, which is the anchor tenant there. (Tom doesn't sound 'Mexican' to me. So, I asked myself, 'How good can it be?') Given your recommendation, I'll have to give them a try. Thanks for the info.
If you want to talk about hidden gem in Wilmington there's a great burger spot call Rick's in and out on Anaheim Street it's best burger in the South Bay
You should go to San Jose California .try taqueria la vicks try there tacos with their vics sauce..also ,go to downtown Sanjose and try smoke eaters best wings in town .place is called smoke eaters .. in Sanjose you can also find super taqueria also another great place to eat tacos and burritos ..
Love montoya’s been going there for years the food is awesome. The only down fall is the local street gang that stay around that area. Mind my business got my food and walk to my car one time from getting montoya’s. The only thing I heard is you from and a flying 40 oz bottle flew over my head. Just watch out for them youngsta. Other than that “ oso burrito” for the win. get the green salsa on the side. 🔥🔥🔥
You need to talk to someone from the area. I won't be mean but I'd definitely skip these spots other than busy bees. We are not known for Hispanic food. Gardena is known for its Asian food and actually has Japanese and Thai restraurants on the Michelin star up and coming list.
Montoya’s is legit. Busy Bee’s had better days and is overpriced now. Tom’s is owned by a dude who claims he was one of the founders of Tito’s in Culver City. Eh, overpriced.
That thumbnail was misleading. You show the coast, but then all your spots are all inland and not what locals would consider the South Bay without arguing 😂
Keep up the great work!!!
I love the 'Man on the street" format
Also, I miss SoCal...
I used to live in Anahiem, but I was all over OC and LA
Keep up with the great work Obi and it was nice to run into you at Mai Phat Mi Gia last time 🤙🏻
BUSY BEE BELLY BUSTER, AND YOU GOT MY FAVORITE ONE TOO!!! either that one or, italian sausage and roast pork,
You need to go back to Wilma’s and go to Flores meat market. Just like busy bees is an actual market with a kitchen in the back
Montoya's also has a drink called The Screech, named after the character from Saved by the Bell. That drink is excellent!
ToM's TaCos: I believe started in Anaheim the owner changed locations to Torrance.

@@liamfortune4645 South Bay includes wilmington, and san pedro. Even El segundo, inglewood, and Westchester are the south bay.
@@car1it05WAY That's correct. But he calls Wilmington and San Pedro "cities." They're parts of Los Angeles.
@ maybe on a map player but, not to locals. IYKYK.
@ anything south of lomita is HA. El Segundo, Inglewood, Hawthorne, lawndale, Gardena are SB with all beach cities westchester 🤦🏻♂️
@@liamfortune4645 cool

Oso burritos 🌯……
Damn $45 for a few tacos and a bean burrito
Montoya’s is legit. Busy Bee’s had better days and is overpriced now. Tom’s is owned by a dude who claims he was one of the founders of Tito’s in Culver City. Eh, overpriced.
Super expensive. Titos tacos used to be $1.50
❤❤😂😂😂
isaacs in wilmington is legendary
anyone ever bit into chips...and one speared the roof of your mouth?
So many other great places to eat out here. Disappointed u could only go to 3
Lettuce!! Only fake burritos carry it!! LOL
Tom’s taco is white boy taco🤷♂️
First two locations are the harbor area not South Bay. Iykyk
Still Southbay
So many better places than Busy Bees in San Pedro. Puesta de sol, fantastic cafe just a couple notable spots. San Pedro cafe a nice spot too.
Busy Bees is not good at all.
@@dsanchez0913 ^ this. Overrated. The bread was nasty
Cap
