I would cover the window Before putting up the tv. Because it will get moisture And water is not good for electrical products. Use reflective if that is all you can get.
I like to see your individualized RV projects. SWEEEET! I am 💯 with ya! My big smart TV is the best thing I ever added to my RV. On rainy days there’s nothing better than a bowl of soup, my TV and my dog on my lap.
You could slip a piece of 1” foam behind the TV to help prevent any vibration.
great idea!
Lol!!!! Didn’t he have a big tv a before and miss the window?!! Gotta love RV life
That's how I remembered it too.
Yes
Yep he ended up hating it after a little while
We have one life to live . If a 70in makes you happy 😊 then go for it Eric, the wheels are turning . Just be happy .
Ya! Just seen a hater post a video about Eric. Watched enough to wonder why. Couldn't believe it!
You need an aquarium app on the tv for Tara. Keep her entertained when you are away.
UA-cam has plenty of bird videos for cats as well :)
I love the travel videos but as a full time RVer I appreciate all the projects and helpful info. Thanks! 👍🏼
So glad you went with a shop. You seem more productive than I have ever seen you. A place to work goes a long ways. Very happy for you.
Eric, do you think you should cover the window behind the TV so sunlight/heat won’t damage it? Some reflectix?
Was going to say the same thing
Getting these projects done is what 7 habits of highly effective people refers to as sharpening the saw. Have you considered some type of foam to prevent the new TV shaking noise? So glad you have the shop for storage and a place to work. Perfect solution and a win win for everyone. May God continue to bless you on your journey in life.
I have to tell you that at 4am today I woke up with bad anxiety and I watched your last 2 videos and it's now 5am and my anxiety went away. Thank you Eric and Tara. I always enjoy your videos. Goodnight. Maybe good morning for some but I'm going back to bed. :)
No matter how many trolls that might criticize your videos, just remember there are those of us that so much enjoy them, I appreciate so much that you are you and you do things your own way and don`t just follow the crowd, just by watching your simple projects has taught me so much and yes you can put a 70 inch TV in an RV if you want to. Enjoy your life my friend.
I thought the idea was to get rid of the tv in that spot so you can get more outside light in the RV?
I'm cheap. I'm using a folded piece of corrugated cardboard folded in half with a duct tape mounting system for my 55" TV. So far, so good!!
I have the VIZIO 65" UHD (it's the PX65-G1) Quantum X, & when I stream 4K content from the ROKU, it's just like looking out the window! Clear, sharp & true-to-life! Been loving it for over a year now!
You'll love that TV, Eric!
@Nomadic Fanatic• Scammer....
Eric I would encourage you to speak with an optometrist about sitting that close to a really large TV. My father was one and he always had us move back from a 25 inch TV. Just saying. Looking out for your health. Alan
Nice upgrade... gonna make rainy days and nights a bit better for sure, I knew that little TV wasn't going to cut it. Get a different brand of TV for the security and move that existing one to your bedroom. A piece of foam at the bottom will remove the vibration at the bottom.
I think the projects are great for we newbies. Answers a lot if questions about just what you can and cannot do to make a rig make more sense than "designer's" ideas on how people function in one.
Eric good stuff but maybe in the next few videos you want to thank your subscribers cuz it's subscribers that makes you a paycheck not the people that send you free stuff but free stuff is good have a great week Tara is awesome

Lol loved how giddy you got putting that TV in. Looks good, Ive got a 60". Do whatever makes u happy in life, it's too short not to 👍
PS- cool Ecoflow is sponsoring everyone, just saw on my Handyman friends channel too 🤑💲
Wow. What a difference a little white paint makes! Such a little thing made a big difference.
The paint will block the UV and ozone and make it last longer.
Man Eric, in a couple of more years that RV is going to have more holes in it than a block of Swiss cheese!
😂
I removed the propane tank in my motorhome. I fabricated a mount for a standard tank and connected it in place of the original tank. I also keep a spare tank in a bay underneath the motohome. Easy to replace when it runs out.
I used to have an Itasca 38j and the TV and dining table were on the passenger side. Greatest setup ever. Then I got the bug for a Monaco pusher and now got a smallish TV above the cockpit which sucks.
Note: If you decide to get an LG TV in the future, it shares some functions with the Vizio remote too. I'm having this trouble with both TV's reacting to one remote since I live in a studio apartment (the LG is actually used as a 2nd monitor on my laptop)
I found a 50" by the road after game day. Working great tiny blemish I didn't notice until I cleaned it weeks later. 50" us a monster TV could not imagine a 70".
looks great, and they didn't make the older RVs that comfortable, we live in one too, so if you can change it to be comfortable, that's great
Hi Eric, so glad to see Jax in still in the intro. I lost my fur baby girl who was 18 years and 2 months. We had her since birth. I feel she is forever with us.Can’t ever replace her. So glad you’re doing well. 🙏🏽❤️
Great video Eric. Personally I love it when you do projects
You could have always stuck some of those felt pads behind that TV too so it wouldn't rattle. The ones you put on the bottom of your furniture legs. I love what you did and you're always changing up the look of your home! Nice!
Should put some Scotch Tint or a similar product on that window to cut down on solar heat on the back of the TV
Those walls look like SWISS 🧀 cheese.
Your right eye looked a little more closed up, I hope everything's okay.👍
The outside stove exhaust vents come in 3 different colors, white, ivory and black, just like the outdoor showers, gravity water fill harches, shore power mouse holes, etc. Yours came in ivory.
Why not use a pull down screen with a short throw projector?
Some manufacturers let you set remote id's so you can number your devices and remotes. That way if you have multiple devices in one room you don't have this problem. I don't know if Vizio has this feature? Maybe in the service menu? We have several NEC Screens at work and you can set them to work off of different remotes. Second thought is maybe using the parental controls on the small TV and only allow HDMI without a pass code.
It’s your house . Houses need attention . Do what you got to do . Have fun stay safe .
re remote issue... old bar trick... put a paper towel or toilet paper core over the end of the remote.... it narrows the beam and let's you aim the remote.
Maybe put some reflectix behind the tv in that window so the tv don’t get so hot in the sun since there is not blind back there just a idea
Great projects are ALWAYS INTERESTING...and it's sadly tiresome that the few "complain" about you having a life that requires attention and time for you, without the constant NEED to satisfy their INSATIABLE requirements for traveled entertainment.
They need to get a life!!
Be well, stay safe ❤
I wish I had someone like you to help me and my 14 year old son. We live in a 36 foot fifth wheel and I’m becoming more miserable by the day. Oh and I did get a 65 inch tv for it too lol
You’re awesome!!!!
Clicked on your link. Its listed at $150 off. Reg $999 on sale for $850
Um, just a few months ago you took down the tv and was happy to have the window back now you're putting up another one 🤪 You going to redo the bed to?
Wow! Just, wow. Why bless your heart Solitaire.
I like seeing your new projects. Hugs to Tara.🐱 She seemed very interested in your Christmas tree.😊
didnt you already have a big ass tv then complained and took it out?
I like the project videos sometimes better than the on the road videos.
Ecoflow looks super useful. Wish I lived in USA 🤗
Looks perfect next to the FRAGILE leg lamp 🕶✌
It must be Italian LOL👍👍😂
@@mikeandre9903 hahaaaa classic
My Dad's favorite line of the movie fra-gi-le! I think its fragile hun 😂
Actually, those screws were Philips heads and not squares
Or a combo Phillips+square drive thing...
I like 👍 that Jax 🐈 remains in the intro.
...from inspiration about your video of painting the RV's stripes, I finally re-did the stripes on my vintage trailer. 😺🙂
You can use a bookshelf brackets to enforce the top of the 2x4s also. I did and it holds so well! 3 years now. 42 inch is what I have.
GOOD FOR YOU ERIC & TARA...ENJOY YOUR RAINY & SNOWY DAY'S IN THE RV....❤️😻
I love projects on the RV, in the RV, in the shop, etc. We all have these to do so it is informative!
Keep doing whatever brings you joy & happiness ❣️❣️
For the vibration on the 2x4s to managing the tilt, put a couple squares of carpet or glue a couple potholders?
It’s very satisfying watching you do small fixes
I work in Walmart in electronics department in near proximity to 70-in TVs everyday. I also live fulltime in a fifth wheel with slide out in the living area and I can't imagine spending long time that close of contact with a 70-inch TV comfortably
Very good vid. Nice TV. Glad you are happier.
Hopefully you added reflective wrap on your window. 👏🤩😎 helps with heat on yourTV 😬
You are great, you like a clear looking home and don’t let people sway you from it. The Rv is looking great, keep up the good work.
How much stuff can he fit on top of that AC unit?? At 2:27 his MacBook is hanging on for dear life!!
I really enjoy seeing Tara in the videos
Eco Flow is offering $150 off not $650. Just thought you’d like to know.
How about just a rubber or velcro pad on the 2 by 4s to stop the rattle.
That Ecoflow looks pretty good.
Thought you pulled other TV partially due to high power use. Is this new one more efficient?
i think he got his generator running good again
I think his solar and battery bank is bigger too.
I enjoy the RV upgrade videos as much as the travel, thanks for sharing 😎
I Love the TV install Eric looks Great!! I really liked the fireplace scene on your TV also can you tell us how you got that? I put a 42” in my Class C an I Love it!! An I like the how to videos…….Blessed Travels
Like your maintenance videos, it’s part of the RV lifestyle.
Hell yes that is what I am talking about. Because I CAN!!!!!
Did you bring back the exercise equipment to place in front of the TV
I vote the fragile leg stays out year round. All in favor type AYE.
Eric, your carpentry standards are different than mine, and so are your entertainment choices. You do you. We have a tiny TV in our RV trailer and it doesn't get used much, but it's still fun watching you putting a jumbo-tron in your motorhome. Be well... I hope to run into you on the road sometime.
Thank you Eric. I was trying to figure out if I could put my Tv in my Miranda or go to projector. Luv to you and Tara.
You can use those felt pads like what you use on chair legs to silence the rattle. They come with adhesive backs.
Hilarious!!! Have fun little brother!!!
Strong suggestion: when painting plastic, its wise to lightly sand the surface before painting or it will peel
Plastic primer/adhesion promoter is a good idea as well
But why? HOW do you even watch it? We have a 75 inch and it's hard to watch in our basement.
Erics eyes have an extreme compensation mechanism. 🤷🏼♀️
The Rv is your home, might as well make it yours 😁 just make sure to have access to the ports for all those delightful old school games
Fireplace is ready for Christmas 🤩🎄
Good for you! Do what you want to do! Looks awesome 👌.
I did the same thing to stop my tv from sliding in our motorhome . Has not moved in over two years now . LOL I used soft foam to stop it from rattling around . Looks great Man ! 👍👍🤘🤘✌✌
I like your foam idea! Gonna steal that.
Jam some rubber behind the tv to stop the vibration. Put the wires behind the tv or in the cabinet below the tv. Exposed wires are unsightly.
I had the same yellow broken vent but found a white replacement
We just changed ours out too, got a white exact fit. Looks so much better.
Yep… makes perfect sense.👍🏻
You are doing with that window what new coaches do now we just have the televating (sp) TV's now. You will have to get a swivel recliner chair now that can turn towards tv when you want to watch or play. Ha ha I figured the seating would change also....That will make for a nice winter. We've had to turn on our heated floors a couple of nights here in TX. but up in the 80's for next 3 days.
Eric I'm glad you're doing much better you look happy again and I enjoyed your video keep them up buddy
As soon as you took out the big one and I saw that tiny thing, I knew you would go back/want a bigger screen.
Buy yourself some quiet 12v Noctua fans and get some air blowing behind that TV using a 12v converter of the right amperage. Put some fan filters over them.
Is anybody else having problems with the ecoflow link?? I can't get through..
Eric; that is way cool..love the tv...
Eric, use black electrical tape to cover inferred on old tv and it should not turn on and off.
The ole girl is spiffy now. Thank goodness the engine has been ok.
Eric, just keep smiling, the more you smile, the better life is.........
Looking good man. It's interesting to see all the various things you do to improve your home on wheels. Be Blessed!
Wholly cow. What a nice television Eric. Your very fortunate to have that and having a nice place to live.
Pull the power plug on the small tv and that will not be effected by the remote ,then simply plug it back in when you want to use it.
Why not use a HD projector with retractable screen so you don't lose the window?
Yes we do want to watch this kind of stuff! I love how motivated you are to get stuff done! Way to go!
