Excellent video, with just your video i managed to changed mine on all my cupboards. The mechanism was a bit different but the mechanics the same. I was so glad to see that i could simply use the existing brackets on cupboards and didn't have to unscrew them and screw the new ones l.. thanks a lot!!
Is there a specific orientation advisable for these pistons..? I noticed the installer for this one installed the left side shaft side up, and the right side was shaft side down..
@ThePunggolHandyMan your comment is so wrong. The strut has compressed gas in it, as we know. There is a seal at the end of the cylinder where the strut comes out. This seal helps to keep the gas pressure. There is a small amount of oil in there as well. This oil is to help keep the seal in good condition to keep the pressure. If you mount the strut with the seal end upper most, like the left one in your video, then the oil runs to the other end and allows the seal to dry out. When the seal dries out, the gas will leak out. The life of the strut will be much shorter than the one on the right, which is mounted correctly.
Question, for the hinges on the the top if i wanted to change out how safe is it to unscrew and screw back the new one in the same hole would the screw even bite and what other alternatives are there
Goodness, this is what I am looking for! Thanks!
Most welcome!

Lifesaver brother, thank you!
Brilliant thanks
Aww man I was hoping to find out how to repair instead of replace.
@familyfirst567 in engineering we call this beyond economical repair.. it means repair will cost more than replace
Thx so much! This is so helpful

Thanks for your views! Not really I usually put shaft up

Any cleaning of burn mark for induction stove glasstop video?
Hmm I don't have one. But maybe if I get the chance
Thanks for your video.
Can we repair it?
Hi, do you know how to remove paint from tiles and power point?
Ummm thinner ? Or turpentine usually works. But depending on the paint
Mine is 130N…but I don’t seem to find the same at the hardware shops near me. Will it make any difference if I replace with 120N or 150N ?
hi. u have a video on how to put the hinge securing the door to the cabinet back? tku
Yup I do!

Well pretty safe . Get someone to spot you
Mine can't move down like it was lock. Just like at the end of video. How to unlock it ?😊
the plastic parts of the gas spring break easily, mine break every few months :(
Yea. Personally I removed my cabinet cover entirely
It is not how to fix, it how to replace.
1st thanks for the video. 2nd it's a replacement not fixing. Please change the title 😡
@samialbrahim9255 thanks for your views! It is replacement but the title helps with the search engine.
How to replace, not how to fix.
