HOLY SH*T, sorry, you have just caused a financial awakening within me, deffo getting your book on audible immediately, I am from a poor part of england, and I always aspired to be 'not poor' and working class, well im 33 and I've reached my goal, so now what? well, I need to learn about finances because I have no idea what I am doing as I only just stopped living hand to mouth. This was not taught to me, all my parents, grandparents etc are all poor and the school I went to was fairly run down. It makes sense to keep the working class, working class, and had I have not found this video, I may have stayed there. Onwards and upwards, ty

Yes, knowing the rules is how you rule them all. During the pandemic I took the time to read the policy for Ontario Disability Support Program. fun fact it changes every few months with clearly words and descriptions and YEES! it is helping me exit off on disability social assistance in my province.
Along with understanding my investment options and what career path makes me the most money while enjoying my life.

I bought the game second-hand...no pamphlet. And yes, I was tutored through it.
I just finished the audio book and it's absolutely wonderful and simple. Your book helped me verify that no I'm not a screw up just mistaught, I have been doing somethings accurately from my own research, reminded me to work on areas I've neglected, and most importantly, I'm gonna be ok. The one thing I have question on is crowd funding. I am currently participating in this activity on real estate property (commercial and residential) as I don't have the funds for a down payment for a house (I just bought my house 4 months ago 🎉 and working on replenishing my savings😢). Is this a waste of my time or a somewhat good idea for owning additional property?
Hey Viv. Bought your book from Amazon, delivered yesterday. I don’t want to lose it. So when out of the house I need to be able to read it on kindle… which is what other authors work with Amazon to provide once customers buy a book. I want to be able to read your book when I’m on the go - on my kindle app for example if I’m waiting in a waiting room somewhere etc. I just got off a call with Amazon & they’re claiming that you may not have made that “option” available. Could you do something about that please? I shouldn’t have to buy the book TWICE.

Totally fair - some occupations in the trades and STEM fields do utilize more math than others, but the point still stands that a lot of what we learned in school isn't applicable to most of our lives as adults, but we all REALLY could've used some more financial education!

I just finished reading! I enjoyed it, but I felt like you missed one BIG group: disabled people face a lot of prejudice in this country and that affects our wealth building too. You don't gain wealth from a house adapted to be wheelchair accessible (they sell for less money than they would if it were "normal", so sometimes you lose money adapting it), you get rejected from jobs if you're disabled, and it's common for filers reading paperwork to you or conservatorship or family or others to "help you access" things are actually just skimming your money in the process. And the high expense of being alive while paying for most or all your medical aids. You covered medical debt for people with one time expenses but that doesn't really take into account the many ways disabled people are financially and otherwise abused through their entire life. I felt like the closest thing was your section on sexism making it impossible to escape an abusive home (a problem shared by disabled people who can easily be imprisoned if their abusive partner or family locks up their prosthetic or crutches or wheelchair) but that's not the same thing. It would have been great seeing advice like on when a job will cost you more than not having a job considering you lose all gov assistance if you get a job even if it won't make enough money to pay the med costs to stay alive.
