Great talk. I'm getting Ken Honda's book. In 2006 I turned 65 and decided to live on social security in a tiny apartment so I could put all my energies into building a body of work. Today I'm in my 80s and have recorded 13 albums of original piano music. It gives me so much joy to play piano and share my music with people. Last night at the first Thursday artscrawl I played piano for 2 hours in an art gallery and made new friends. I feel blessed!
This is awesome. Just goes to show you don't need to be rich to have an extraordinary life. For me, I've traveled the world and live abroad and I'm not rich. Having rich experiences is what it's all about.
My dad passed away at 94 years old. I don’t want to die at 60, I’m trying to attract now as I want the life my dad had when he was retired. He lived in a beautiful house on a mountain in Puerto Rico. 60 is the new 30!
I am Armenian, but I have lived in Canada for the past 30 years. It used to be in my parents' house, where my mom was a housewife, and my dad was working and bringing all the money earned to her. She was taking care of the rest. It was wonderful.. This is similar to what Ken Honda is talking about. Loved it! Brings beautiful memories back.
I can resonate with that. I came here as a refuge and our neighbors got together and brought presents for us our first Christmas in this country. As a kid we were so happy and I forever grateful for American peoples.

I gave something away this week that is very valuable and I’ve owned it for many years, it meant far more to the person I gave it to, strange thing is I feel really good about it so I’m going to help people I know that are struggling.
praying too that God will help me,it's really hard to curry this burden that i dont have enough,..i have two kids who are in college now who have a great drems .i need to support them on their studdies but i cant . As someone who has lived in the US for the past 22 years it still somehow surprises me how Americans value you based on how much you make, as he mentioned. I love what Ken said about friends and how to be satisfied with what you already have.

actually i always hated podcast in particularly about this topic for the fact its always talking about something impractical- or something that doesn't make sense. But man. this is really good.. no frills and he makes so much sense. drills sense the cold truth into u as well. love it.
I always try to catch myself and choose the attributes I focus on. The others are understood like a parent looking at the child. The parent is the higher self. When things try key word try to get out of control. This way I know who I am. It actually becomes a collective consciousness.
I agree with how open and friendly Americans are. I have the best memories of travelling there and meeting people who would help me and my friends out while we backpacked around

I always try to catch myself and choose the attributes I focus on. The others are understood like a parent looking at the child. The parent is the higher self. When things try key word try to get out of control. This way I know who I am. It actually becomes a collective consciousness.
