Dude, I fucking hate social media. Especially if it's someone I don't already know.

By the way, just because gamedev dot stackexchange is for game development, it does not mean that programming questions related to game development must be there, or are not welcome on stackoverflow. With that said, gamedev will take question about game development which are not related to programming (and thus not welcome in stackoverflow), including but not limited to game design. Also, know that just because a tag is not among the most popular ones, it does not mean there isn't people willing to answer it.

A very underrated community new solo devs should check out is Indie Game Academy. They have classes on how to start your own indie studio!

Awesome video as always! Those are some really good sites to check out for help and giving help. I already use reddit but I should expand to the others. Thank you for the info. Keep it up! :)

The biggest issue with Reddit is the downvote trigger-happy community. They don't only downvote things that are disagreeable. They also downvote things trivial. If you designed a character with a red hat but a Redditor thought it would look better blue,....instant downvote. Now I understand why most social media apps removed dislikes.

I tried joining the Indie Game Developers IGD group and it seems like you can't post until they allow it. I joined at the time this video went up and still no option to post. Not sure if there's a waiting period or approval from an admin needed but unfortunately there's no one to ask cause you can't direct message anyone. What a bummer.

I wanted help as in I'm confused that what should I learn first the language or game engine
    Game engine "Godot"
Game language "python" I know "GDScript" is specifically for Godot but I went with the flexible language in my opinion

Hey! How about making a video about games that was made with RUST programming language? It would be pretty cool.

All cool and stuff but the problem is me not being good in communicating with people and socializing in any way. But gotta try anyway because I need to build a community for a game I am planning to build. Good luck to everyone.

Get someone as a 'community manager' to do that side of things while you focus on building the game.
