Flight modes on a quadcopter (Stabilized, Horizon, Acro - Switch)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 тра 2018
- STABILIZED/ANGLE MODE (for beginners)
- drone tilt angle is limited even at maximum stick movement thus 360° flips are impossible;
- when the right stick is released the drone returns to horizontal position;
HORIZON MODE (combination of the other 2 modes)
- drone tilt angle is limited only till around 80% stick movement, but at 100% stick movement the drone will flip 360°!;
- when the right stick is released the drone returns to horizontal position (even after flipping);
ACRO/RATE/AIR MODE (for experts)
- fully manual mode (never returns to horizontal);
- drone maintains tilt angle even when the right stick is released thus allows 360° flips at any stick angle;

Best explanation of the flight modes.Thx mate.
Probably the best explanation of the different modes that i found online. Also, Stabilized mode sometimes is called angle mode.
I searched too many videos, but this is the way to explain flight modes, this is the only video which cleared my doubts,many many thanks bro salute you
Same bro
Best explanation of the flight modes. Thanks
@DevSky Thank you so much
Excellent explanation.
Congrats
Nice video, well explained thanks !
Perfect explained, thanks
Thanks. Very simply explained. 👍👍👍
thank you for this video! this explains alot for me :D
Best explanation brother 👍👍👍
Thanks very helpfull and clearly understand.
Thanks for very nice explanation
good video, thanks
Thanks!
Great explanation ! Thanks. What about AIR mode ?
Acro = Rate = Air mode
Is it better to fly on horizon mode with airmode or without airmode?
@@emrahksk83 With airmode
thanks bro!
Thanks👍
my friend I just picked up some used Fpv gear and I got 2 quads that r ready to fly but I need an expert with the Taranis qx7 remote to walk me thru a custom setup, and how to program these flight modes on these couple of freestyle builds I got.
we can FaceTime or even on zoom or something like this just so I can see hands on how to do it possibly a quick walk thru just so I know exactly what to do how and when to do it.
my biggest fear would be powering up the 7" I have and the thing just winds out or starts smoking, so my other question is are there any preflight and post build pre flight checklists that could help me make sure every item on the Fpv quad has been considered and wired/routed/protected the smartest way possible.
please let me know I only ask because I see you have the blue limit edition Taranis and the models are exactly the same, and going forward you May have a quick question for me in return that you just can't seem to trouble shoot and I ll be able to help out with that.. thanks so much for your. time if you've read this long...
#Devsky thank you so much
thabks
this helps a to n thank u
do you have full speed of the drone in stabiled mode??
Not really because the angle is limited. Although the angle Is adjustable from software (Betaflight).
Okey👆
Still training in angle mode😆
practice Acro in a simulator. it's much better.
@@AleXianFPV now already acro mode🤣
If I release the sticks in Horizon mode the Quadcolter still flies in the same direction. It feels exactly like the acro mode.
Same with me horizon seems just like acro, did u ever figure it out
I found the fix if still having this problem, mine works great in horizon now, levels right back out!!!
This horizon he's new
i cannot use acro mode without dive bombing into the ground, at least i didn't dive bomb into the air for the rest of my 4 minute battery life
I dont get why anyone would want to fly in acro? I fly in horizon all the time. I can do all the tricks and stuff acro can do but way less of a chance of crashing. The thing I hate about acro is if you move in one direction it just keeps going.. Its so hard to correct
Horizon is a mix of 2 modes. It will modify the drone's angle if you release the stick, and it will also spin the drone continuously if you push the right stick all the way to a direction. You might not guess exactly when will the drone flip at a certain angle of the right stick. Acro lets you decide what to do, it does not interfere with the pilot's will at all. It's somewhat similar to a car's Automatic vs manual transmission.
Well explained!
