i find it interesting when you pick the sith option, Carth never actually explained who the sith are lol. he just tells you, well there keeping us from leaving the planet, ok but who tf are they lol. no answer to the question, don't you just love that.
hey you say about the sith, even though you play as one in the other game, but even though you don't treat alien species bad or be prejudice against, but real sith however do. remember Harkun, well the sith in this game are pretty prejudice towards alien species lol.
There are plenty non-human Sith as well as human Sith who aren't against aliens (Malgus and Marr in SWTOR), but in KOTOR most are against. Harkun isn't the example of a real Sith... he's just a puppet.
Rosenblau: well Darth Marr is unusual for most sith, same for Malgus, but that's because they wanna change the way sith usually operate. that's the reason they made the sith classes, because your supposed to be the future. now yes there are some non human sith, but for the most part you see more alien species as jedi than you do sith. so it's not just Harkun, alot of sith in general are prejudice. Darth Marr wants the sith to go back to a time when they were just referred to Dark Lords, but the ones we end up fighting in the games who call themselves sith aren't the truth sith, there just fallen dark jedi that get corrupted by power. Darth Malik and Revan in Kotor 1 was the same way. Meetra the exile in Kotor 2 was alot like Revan, but different at the Sametime. she didn't fall to the darkside the way Revan did, but she did follow him into battle against the mandalorians. that's why she was exiled, but they never gave a true reason as to why they did. that's why Kreia exists in that game. the sith characters you play as in each class story in SWTOR are supposed to be actually ancestors to actual dark Lords, you see that mostly in the inquisitors story with the ghost. so that's what Marr and Malgus wants, but they also want a new future for sith.
Eh, the Jedi did it once that I know of, to a threat to the entire galaxy. From Carth's dialogue, it sounds like Revan and Malak did it regularly.
