A stunning location, where Eagles fly overhead and Otters can be seen from the windows of your van!!
We go out to try and film some of these beautiful but elusive creatures.

That morning looking for the otter looked absolutely amazing with the calm water and bit of fog out there. The birdsong was beautiful, too. Loved hearing your whispered excitement - so awesome. It is neat how seals bob along. Great footage of all the different birds and deer. It's neat how you can see people so far away stopping to look. Very glad you got some footage of the otters as well!
Beautiful area and drive. Narrow roads! Got to be careful riving through there. Super nice campground on the river. Pretty neat to see the seals. That is a nice zoom lens on your camera. Nice shots of the birds and other wildlife with it too. Nice hike along the creek and through the area. Looked like a great place to visit. Have a nice day.
We loved it there Steve. Well we loved the whole island of Mull. Stunning place. I’m very happy to have bought that long lens as I managed to get some good wildlife shots and film. The roads are ok in the most part although in some places they can be difficult in a motorhome!!
But overall we had a fabulous time there. Hope you’re having a good week mate 👍👍👍
Scotland sure is amazing! What a perfect camping area, so close to the sea and all the wildlife viewing! Wonderful to watch the seals and see otters too! Beautiful birds, just lovely! Very exciting that you got to see a Golden Eagle and Sea Eagles too. Great to experience the wonder of wildlife! 👌😄💙💙
Oh my goodness Jen, the Isle of Mull has been just so wonderful. Finally managed to get to see a Sea Eagle really close - in fact so close that my long lens couldn’t focus until it had flown away for a bit. Massive birds!!
We’ve loved every minute of our Scotland trip.

Oh my goodness Dara it was so cool. Shame we couldn’t get the money shot as they disappeared as soon as we had seen them. It’s such an amazing place to watch wildlife. You would love it up there. We have fallen in love with Mull and can’t wait to get back!!

Thanks Serge. We lived Mull so much. It’s wild and beautiful and has amazing wildlife. But we visited an even more amazing place last week in Ardnamurchan.

Such abundant wildlife! Seals, herons, deer and otters, you must have been in your element on Mull Dave! 🤩🙌. We adore Seal watching in Scotland, could watch them for hours, love their little inquisitive faces having a good look around 🦭❤. The still morning with the fog was so atmospheric. We are glad you got to see sea eagles while on the island, 16 of them must have been quite a site while buying your morning paper for the people in the shop that day! 😀🦅. Otters, you spend hours waiting, then two come along at once😂🦦. That really was an amazing capture, must have been a highlight of an amazing trip👌. Carry on enjoying guys, safe onward travels, we look forward to seeing where you end up next!

That was an amazing place - will stay in the memory for ever. Blown away by the wildlife on Mull. We finally managed to get a Sea Eagle on film as it flew directly over us 50 feet away
It was so big it was too close for my long lens but we managed to get it flying away being chased by two tiny crows!
A perfect couple of days here!!
I'm just itching to go visit Mull! I'd love to see all that wildlife!
It’s amazing!! I thought it would be difficult, but the wildlife seems to be everywhere
There are a lot of boat trips you can do too. Whale watching - eagle watching etc. and people take personal guided tours guaranteed to see Otters or Eagles. We were tempted to go on one but to be honest you just have to sit for an hour and the wildlife is there!!
The midges were just warming up so any time between end May and early October would be bad for them! 🦟🦟

Plenty of wildlife on view and I have always wanted to see an otter out in the wild and wow, a golden eagle, that must have been amazing. The site looked really good and the pub even better, sounded a real good vibe in there. Loved the scenery and the setting sun by man, that was a catch mind, two otters together, well worth the wait! cheers Alan
Never been anywhere like that Alan. You just couldn’t fail to see Otters or Eagles. They’re everywhere! We had a Sea Eagle fly straight overhead so close that my long lens could focus until it flew further away! It was being harried by two crows, which looked tiny in comparison!
Absolutely loved that place!
Beautiful and beautifully done. We have a Blue Heron rookery close by. Really pretty birds. You two have seen some wonderful places eon far with more to come i am sure. Have a great week Dave and Sue
Thanks mate. Yes it’s been a brilliant trip so far. This country is so very special. The wildlife is incredible and the landscapes are jaw dropping everywhere you go.

Fantastic place for wildlife. Can’t believe you got to see a sea eagle and a golden eagle. Ravens are massive, so do be dwarfed by that eagle must have been something to see 😳

Managed to get on film a few days later, a Sea Eagle being chased by crows. It flew straight towards us about 30 feet off the ground. I had my long lens on and it was too close to capture u til it had flown away from us. Flippin huge bird!! Loved Mull so much Phil.

You really do Soren. Absolutely your kind of place. There are some really wild areas on Mull. But some beautiful little villages too.
Nice area. Even though it was hazy, you got some great shots. The views were so spot on. It would have been amazing to see on a clear day.
It was so beautiful there guys. We have had an absolutely memorable trip to so many amazing locations. And that place was up there with the best of them. Loved watching the wildlife.

I watch Otters at home a fair bit on the meres near where we live and I’m addicted to them! 😃. So seeing them in Scotland has been incredible Don’t want to come back South!! 😃

That pub looks great with the mussels and whine, bet that went down a treat.
You always seem to catch some wonderful wildlife shots, looks like a huge lens on your camera. The mists really add something to the landscape.

Again that was the second site on Mull and it was wonderful. I do have a long lens now to try and capture wildlife. Although on Mull it was sometimes too long as the wildlife gets so close! Finally captured a White Tailed Sea Eagle on film to on Ardnamurchan.
That little Inn was great - good food and right next door to the campsite!!
Amazing trip - thanks for sharing my friends 😍😍👍👍 - we are visiting Mull for third time next month and I hope it will be the best visit we had, because we never had luck with weather there.
Oh I hope it’s good for you. We were so lucky in Mull. We only had a few spots of rain in seven days! Isn’t it an absolutely stunning island. We do love the Outer Hebrides and Skye too but Mull has something special. And the wildlife is incredible. Enjoy your trip and thanks for watching 🙏👍🙏👍
Stayed on Port Nan Gael campsite last September it’s a lovely spot, we will probably go back again this year. Thanks for sharing your trip.

LOL early Midge patrols in the West then. They will be bad this year as there was a relatively mild winter. Narrow roads are best driven slowly, you are on holiday. Just let folk past in either direction they could be working. Common gulls nest at a place we love to go, dangerous to walk down the road LOL

Great film Dave, we were there in 2017 and stayed at the Pennyghael hotel, saw Otter, White Tailed Eagle and Short Eared Owl😊
Oh gosh that’s amazing Graham. Isn’t it an absolutely stunning location. Didn’t get any Eagles on film here but saw a Goldie and White Tailed - then on Ardnamurchan we had a low flyover by a WTE - so close I couldn’t get my lenses on it until it was flying away.
Scotland has it all doesn’t it!
Oh my goodness! How darling!! I would have freaked out to see a seal! I’ve never seen one in the wild before! We don’t have them here in the Appalachians! Awesome video!! The geese were very cute as well! It looks like a very great place to be out to photograph wildlife! The deer kinda reminds me of our elk here!
Hi Gracie. Yes the Red Deer look a bit like Elk but slightly smaller.
This was an incredible place - we saw species that we’ve never seen before let alone filmed!

Ah guys this looked absolutely gorgeous and so good you got to see a golden Eagle. Alf said that he heard That Paul Mccartney owned the island of Mull at some point 😯 The campsite was busy and in a fabulous location. The inn looked great with those views. Wow otters too like in The Ring of bright water 😃 film . Love the gulls so much. The scenery there is spectacular. Great footage and tour 👏👍~ Anna
Thanks Anna. It was a wonderful place to wander - the campsite was busy but a mile or so down the road you didn’t see a soul about.

Mull is such a cool place - we fell in love with it.
Paul McCartney bought a big farm on the Mull of Kintyre I think, which is on the Kintyre peninsular. Him and Linda when they were the Wings band had that big hit Mull of Kintyre. Couldn’t stand that song - it stayed no 1 for months 😃😃

Stunning place. For me, the A849 has got to be the best drive in the UK! Great campsite. Just a shame you couldn't stop to film the Eagle's nest. Looking forward to the next video :)

Some wonderful nature to see. Frustrating with the cameras -- I know the feeling. You see far more than you can capture on film - that's what happens to me anyway. You may be able to capture a sea eagle later on the trip. Good luck!

You did see a blue sky!! 😃. We’ve been in Scotland now for nearly three weeks. It’s been amazing. We’ve had had a couple of days of rain in that time. We’ve been very lucky indeed.
